ELOHIM

THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY HAS MANY NAMES, BUT THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT BIBLICAL NAMES OF GOD ARE YEHOVAH AND ELOHIM.

YEHOVAH IN HEBREW MEANS LORD.  ELOHIM IN HEBREW MEANS GODS.  ALTHOUGH WHEN APPLIED TO THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, THE GOD OF ISRAEL, ELOHIM, GODS, IS USED IN THE SINGULAR, GOD.

SO WHY DOES GOD REFER TO HIMSELF SOME 3,000 TIMES IN TNAKH, THE OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES AS ELOHIM, GODS, WHEN THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS?

BECAUSE GOD ALMIGHTY IS THE FATHER, THE LORD IN HEAVEN.  HE IS MESSIAH YESHUA, THE SON OF MAN, THE JESUS CHRIST OF THE BIBLE.  AND GOD ALMIGHTY IS THE SON OF GOD, THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND OFTEN THE ANGEL OF GOD, AND THE ANGEL OF THE LORD.  GOD ALMIGHTY IS THE GLORY OF GOD, THE SHEKHINAH, THE DIVINE PRESENCE OF GOD.  WHEN MELCHIZEDEK  MET WITH ABRAHAM, THAT WAS YESHUA THE MESSIAH, GOD ALMIGHTY.  WHEN GOD ALMIGHTY APPEARED TO ABRAHAM, ISAAC, JACOB, MOSES, AND OTHERS, THAT WAS MESSIAH YESHUA.

ALL ARE ONE AND THE SAME GOD.

THUS AN IMPORTANT NAME FOR GOD IS ELOHIM.

GENESIS 1.26, GENESIS 3.22, GENESIS 14.18-20, GENESIS 17.1, GENESIS 18.1, GENESIS 19.24, EXODUS 3.2-4, EXODUS 20.1-3, EXODUS 24.10, EXODUS 33.11,17-23, DEUTERONOMY 5.6-7, DEUTERONOMY 6.4, HEBREW BIBLE PSALM 45.8, CHRISTIAN BIBLE PSALM 45.7, PSALM 110.1, HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6, ISAIAH 43.10-11, ISAIAH 44.6,8, ISAIAH 45.5,6,14,18,21, ISAIAH 48.16-18, MATTHEW 1.1,21, MARK 12.29, MARK 14.61-62, MARK 16.19, JOHN 8.58, JOHN 10.30, JOHN 12.44-45, JOHN 14.9, JOHN 17.1, HEBREWS 7.1-3

EXODUS  33.17-23  GOD IS SPIRIT.  HOWEVER WHEN GOD APPEARS IN HUMAN FORM, THE FACE OF GOD CAN BE SEEN.  MOSES SAW THE THE BACK OF GOD’S SPIRIT.  BUT MAN CANNOT SEE THE FACE OF THE FULLNESS OF GOD’S SPIRIT AND LIVE.

JEREMIAH 23.24, JOHN 4.24

I BELIEVE THAT WILL CHANGE WHEN WE, THE FAMILY OF GOD ARE LIKE HIM IN HIS LIKENESS IN THE MESSIANIC KINGDOM ON EARTH IN ISRAEL, AND IN HEAVEN WITH THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM ELOHIM THE MESSIAH YESHUA

PSALM 17.15, 1 JOHN 3.2

DEUTERONOMY 6.4 READS IN HEBREW, SHEMA YISRAEL, ADONAI ELOHAYNU (OUR GODS), ADONAI EKHUD.

HEAR O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD (OUR GODS), THE LORD IS ONE.

ONE IN HEBREW, AS THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE, IS EHKHUD, A PLURAL FORM OF ONE BECAUSE THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.

AND THE LORD OUR GOD IS OUR GODS AND ALL ARE ONE AND THE SAME GOD.

Shalom,
