Shalom. Our teaching this morning will continue in the Book of Exodus in Chapter 13. The time is immediately after The LORD GOD brought the children of Israel out of Egypt after 400 years of slavery under the hand of the Egyptians. The LORD GOD is Yeshua The Messiah.
READ EXODUS 13.1-16
I have a title for this teaching. The redemption of the firstborn, and how it applies to you.
EXODUS 13.1-2 SANCTIFY in Hebrew is KAH DAHSH – to regard as holy. Thus the firstborn is holy to The LORD.
Sanctify to The LORD all the firstborn that open the womb among the children of Israel, both man and animal. All are The LORD’s.
Let’s look at EXODUS 13.12-15.
EXODUS 13.12 MATRIX in Hebrew is REH KHEM – is the womb. The place where the baby is brought into being and formed.
You shall set apart or give to The LORD all that open the womb. The males shall be The LORD’s.
Every firstling: firstling in Hebrew is PEH TEHR meaning firstborn. Every firstborn male of man and the domestic animals you own are set apart and given to The LORD.
EXODUS 13.13 Every firstborn ass or donkey you shall redeem with a lamb by sacrificing the lamb in place of the donkey, or breaking the donkey’s neck, which is a non-sacrificial method of slaughter. A donkey could not be sacrificed because it is an unclean animal. This was done if the donkey was not redeemed with a lamb.
Redeem in Hebrew is PAH DAH meaning to pay a price. The redemption price for the donkey was a lamb that was sacrificed to The LORD.
Look, I know this sounds terrible, but our Messiah Yeshua experienced a horrible sacrificial death for you and me, and all the world. That’s what it took to be our Sacrifice for the atonement of our sins. Isaiah 52.14 prophesies, As many were shocked at You, His appearance was so disfigured, more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men.
And back to EXODUS 13.13. All the firstborn males among your children, you shall redeem. The redemption was a price in money paid to the priests. NUMBERS 18.16
NUMBERS 18.16 Five shekels equaled two ounces of silver.
Today there is no Temple or Priesthood, thus the firstborn animals are given to a descendant of the Levitical Priesthood family and left to pasture. They cannot be used for work.
Judaism has a ceremony called Pidyon Ha Ben, meaning redemption of the son. The ceremony is on the 31st day after birth, or the next day if that day is a Sabbath or a major Fesitival of The LORD. The son is redeemed by giving five units of the local currency such as $5.00 to a descendant of the priestly family. The money is generally returned to the father or donated to charity.
EXODUS 13.14-15 Thus the redemption to The LORD of all the firstborn male children and male animals is because of the powerful strength of The LORD GOD Who brought Israel out from Egypt, the house of bondage. And, because Pharaoh would not let the children of Israel go, The LORD GOD killed all the firstborn Egyptians, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of animals. Therefore the firstborn male animals are sacrificed to The LORD, and GOD redeems all the firstborn males of the children of Israel. They are His. And the redemption was a price of money paid to the priest.
Paul has an interesting teaching about the redemption of the firstborn, and how it applies to us, the followers of Messiah Yeshua in Romans 8.29.
ROMANS 8.29 For whom He did foreknow. Foreknow in Greek is PROG-IN-OCE-KO meaning to know beforehand. That is before the Creation.
For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate. Predestinate comes from the Greek word
PRO-OR-ID-ZO meaning determined and ordained before. That is before the Creation of the world.
To be conformed to the image of His Son. Conformed comes from the Greek word SOOM-MOR-FOS which means to be similar and fashioned like, (like Yeshua).
To be conformed to the image of His Son. Image comes from the Greek word IKONE meaning likeness. GOD has conformed us into the likeness of Yeshua. That likeness is to be like Yeshua, obeying every word GOD spoke. Luke 4.4.
Messiah is the firstborn among many brethren. That is how redemption of the firstborn applies to Believers in Messiah. According to Exodus 13.2, the firstborn are sanctified, the firstborn are holy, and the firstborn belong to The LORD. Thus we are GOD’s firstborn in Messiah, sanctified, holy, and we belong to The LORD our GOD.
BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS ARE GOD’S FIRSTBORN, REDEEMED BY THE LORD. THE REDEMTION PRICE WAS MESSIAH’S SACRIFICIAL DEATH.
Thus Paul’s teaching is this. Those who are in the likeness of Yeshua The Messiah, obeying GOD, His every Word, GOD has foreknown and predestinated you to be like Yeshua, to be the firstborn with many brethren, to be sanctified, holy, and you belong to The LORD your GOD. The redemption price was Messiah’s excruciating death and His shed blood, for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul, Leviticus 17.11.
The New Testament is part of the entire Bible, and part of The Law of Moses. Read and study Hebrews 8.6 for your own understanding. The New Testament is made into law as part of The Law of Moses.
BACK TO
EXODUS 13.3 The Exodus is a day of great importance in Judaism. It is the day when the Jewish people, the children of Israel came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage by the mighty Hand of GOD. Thus Moses said to the people, remember this day.
The LORD GOD is Yeshua The Messiah Who set His people free, Who brought the people out of the house of bondage. Thus Moses said, there shall be no leavened bread eaten.
The first words of the 10 commandments are, I AM The LORD your GOD Who has brought you out of the land of Egypt. You shall have no other gods before Me. EXODUS 20.1-3
VERSE 3 You shall not recognize the gods of others in My Presence. And GOD is present everywhere, all the time at the same time.
Also, The New Testament uses the exodus from Egypt to illustrate some very important teachings.
MATTHEW 2.13-15 Both Messiah Yeshua and the Jewish people are GOD’s firstborn sons whom He called out of Egypt. The great difference of course between GOD’s firstborn Son Yeshua and the Jewish people is that Yeshua is The Son of GOD. He is also The Mighty GOD and The Everlasting Father Who on earth was also a man, Isaiah 9.6(5).
As GOD’s firstborn son, the Jewish people also have a high standing with The LORD. They are a holy people unto The LORD their GOD, chosen by GOD to be a special people to Himself, to be His witnesses and His servant. To know and believe GOD, and understand that GOD is The LORD. Before Him, there was no GOD formed, and neither shall there be after Him, that GOD is The One GOD. There are no others. And beside The LORD, there is no Saviour. And Yeshua The Messiah is The Saviour. Yeshua The Messiah is The LORD GOD. He is The LORD, our Holy One, The Creator of Israel, our King. He is The One GOD of Creation.
EXODUS 4.22-23, HOSEA 11.1
Paul preached about the exodus in a synagogue on the Sabbath, on a Saturday. ACTS 13.17-23.
VERSE 18 He endured their bad habits. Many received in E
gypt.
VERSE 22 David, a man after My own Heart who will do all My Will. He will do all that I speak, and he will do all My Law, GOD said.
VERSE 23 Yeshua The Messiah is The Saviour of Israel and all the world. He is GOD Almighty, our Holy One, The Creator of Israel, our King, The One and only GOD. Isaiah 43.15
The Book of Hebrews teaches of the disobedience of the children of Israel to The LORD their GOD while in the wilderness after leaving Egypt, and the dire consequences that result from disobeying GOD.
HEBREWS 3.15-19
VERSE 15 It is said today, if you hear GOD’s Voice, do not harden your hearts as in the provocation.
Hearing GOD’s Voice is obeying every Word He speaks. Don’t harden your hearts; don’t be stubborn, refusing to obey GOD, refusing His Law of Moses. Many in the wilderness, after leaving Egypt, refused to obey GOD’s Laws, just as the world today refuses to obey GOD’s Laws. And the children of Israel paid the price. That is a lesson for everybody.
The provocation is the time in the wilderness when the people provoked GOD to anger because they continuously disobeyed GOD. The world disobeys GOD. Look at world events today.
VERSE 16 Some provoked GOD to anger by disobeying Him. But not all who came out of Egypt disobeyed GOD. There is always a remnant who obey The LORD.
VERSE 17 Sin is breaking GOD’s Law, 1 John 3.4. Thus GOD is grieved, He is insulted, angry, and displeased. And those who sinned against Him, their carcasses fell in the wilderness. Hard teaching, but The Word of GOD.
VERSE 18 Those who do not believe, do not enter into GOD’s rest. GOD’s rest is eternal life in the Millennium, and in Heaven. And not believing is not obeying GOD. Let’s look at Verse 19.
VERSE 19 So we see, The Word says, that they could not enter into GOD’s rest because of unbelief. Unbelief comes from the Greek word APISTIA which means disobedience. Unbelief means disobedience to GOD.
Yes, our sins are forgiven by Messiah, but GOD always requires us to obey Him. That never changes. We are to obey His Voice to enter His rest. His Voice is every Word He speaks, His Commandments, and His Law of Moses. That is not a Jewish thing. GOD’s Words and Laws are for all His Creation no matter what your cultural or ethnic background may be. That is GOD’s way to enter His rest.
BACK TO
EXODUS 13.4 Abib was the name of the first month on the Jewish calendar, and it was the Passover month. However when the Jewish people returned from the 70 year Babylonian exile in 516 B.C.E./ B.C., they apparently renamed Abib the month of Nisan. NEHEMIAH 2.1
EXODUS 13.5 The land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites are the countries GOD renamed Israel after the children of Israel conquered those lands, and possessed them as their everlasting inheritance from GOD. And The LORD GOD is Yeshua The Messiah.
EXODUS 13.6-7 The seventh day shall be a Feast to The LORD. The seventh day of Passover is a Sabbath of rest and we should hold a worship service on that Day. No work is to be done no matter what day it falls on.
And Passover is the time of matzah, unleavened bread. No leavened bread is to be seen with you, or in your houses during the seven days of Passover.
EXODUS 13.8 Your son in Hebrew LEH VEEN KHAH meaning your son, or daughter or your children. Tell your children the Passover is observed every year because The LORD delivered us from 400 years of Egyptian bondage, and made Israel a nation.
EXODUS 13.9-10 These passages and others, according to Judaism, are a decree to wear tefillin, or as called outside of Judaism, phylacteries. Tefillin are two specially made cubical black leather boxes traditionally worn by adult males during the weekly morning Service. The boxes are bound by black leather straps to the left hand and arm, or to the right hand for a person who is left handed, and to the head. And the boxes contain four Scriptural passages. As The LORD says in Verse 9, That The LORD’s Law may be in your mouth. The four passages of Scripture are Exodus 13.1-10 (our study this morning), Exodus 13.11-16, Deuteronomy 6.4-9, and Deuteronomy 11.13-21.
All these passages speak of obeying GOD and His Law of Moses, teaching us there is only one GOD, and it is the mighty Hand of GOD Who brought us out of Egypt. Let’s look at some of those Verses before we close.
EXODUS 13.9, EXODUS 13.16 frontlets in Hebrew is TOE TAH FOTE – meaning, to go around or bind the forehead.
DEUTERONOMY 6.4-9, DEUTERONOMY 11.13-21
Let me say this in conclusion. The Bible from Genesis through Revelation is the entire Word of GOD that The LORD has revealed to mankind which is His Law. Deuteronomy 29.29. To it should all seek after, follow, and cleave to. GOD’s instructions can be summed up in a few words. Listen to GOD, and obey every Word He speaks, His Commandments, and His Law of Moses. They are for all His Creation, the entire world.
And there is only One GOD, and One Law of GOD. And there is only One Saviour, Who has Salvation and He is Yeshua The Messiah, the One GOD of Creation, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel your King. Yeshua is GOD, and there are no others.
And when you follow GOD’s instructions, you are His firstborn in Messiah, redeemed, sanctified, and holy. You belong to GOD, and you enter His rest.

GOD HAS ONLY ONE LAW. EXODUS 12.42-51
Shalom. Our teaching this morning will be from Exodus 12.42-51. But first a little background.
The Exodus has begun. The LORD GOD, Who is Yeshua The Messiah has started to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt by their armies after 400 years of hard Egyptian slavery. The GOD of Israel was preparing His people for the many battles they would encounter along the way to the Promised Land, the Land that GOD had given to the Jewish people for an everlasting possession, the land of Canaan that The LORD GOD renamed Israel after Jacob the father of the twelve tribes of Israel.
And The LORD began to give Israel ordinances, and laws, and commandments. ONE LAW, GOD said for the children of Israel, and for the stranger that dwells with you, or joins in with you.
READ EXODUS 12.42-51
EXODUS 12.42 It is a night to be much observed. That night was the evening of the first day of the first Passover. That was the night The LORD brought the children of Israel out of Egypt. It is a night to be kept and observed as a celebration forever. It is a night that all mankind should celebrate, for Yeshua said in John 4.22, for Salvation is of the Jews. It is a night that Jewish people observe every year by holding a Passover seder. It is a night Yeshua observed every year of His life on earth. It is a night Christianity calls The Last Supper.
Yeshua The Messiah observed every Festival of GOD including The Passover. All of GOD’s Festivals are written in Leviticus 23, and they include the Saturday Sabbath. The Seventh Day of the week is the Saturday Sabbath.
Peter wrote that Yeshua is our example, that we should follow His steps. As Yeshua followed and obeyed every Word and command of GOD’s Law of Moses, we should also do the same. We should follow Messiah’s steps. 1 PETER 2.21-25
EXODUS 12.42 An ordinance in Hebrew is KHOOKAHT. An ordinance is a law. This law, The LORD said, is the law of the Passover. The law of the Passover is, no stranger, that is no non-Jewish person shall eat of the Passover Lamb.
I think you will agree with me that these words require a Bible study along with the following verses 44-49.
READ EXODUS 12.44-49
VERSE 43 reads, the law of the Passover is, no non-Jewish person shall eat of the Passover.
And VERSES 44 AND 48 read, but every non-Jewish male person must be circumcised to eat of the Passover Lamb.
So yes, these Verses do require a Bible search because if you will, GOD has given a right of passage for non-Jewish people to eat of the Passover, and non-Jewish Believing men are not required to be circumcised to eat of the Passover lamb. But how? Let’s read Paul’s words in Galatians 2.3.
GALATIANS 2.3 GREEK – HELLEN – a non-Jewish person, a Gentile. Titus was not Jewish and was a Believer in the Jewish Messiah Yeshua. And he was not required to be circumcised.
Yeshua was circumcised. LUKE 2.21
It is Jewish custom to give a boy his name at his ceremony of circumcision.
John The Baptist was circumcised. LUKE 1.59-60
Paul was circumcised. Philippians 3.5
The New Testament is a very Jewish book.
So why is The GOD of Israel pleased to allow Believing non-Jewish people in Messiah to eat of the Passover lamb? And why is The LORD also pleased to NOT require non-Jewish Believing men to be circumcised to participate in the Passover?
First of all, I think it is important to understand why The LORD GOD Who is Yeshua The Messiah, requires Jewish males to be circumcised.
GENESIS 17.1-14
GENESIS 17.1 The LORD Who appeared to Abraham was Yeshua The Messiah, Who is The Almighty GOD, Who said to Abraham, walk before Me and be perfect. The only way to be perfect before The LORD GOD is to obey every Word that proceeds out of the Mouth of GOD. Matthew 4.4. That is what all followers of Messiah should strive after.
GENESIS 17.2 The Covenant GOD made with Abraham is called by many the Abrahamic Covenant. The irrevocable promises GOD made with Abraham and the Jewish people.
GENESIS 17.3-4 VERSE 4 Abraham will be the father of many nations. Nations in Hebrew is GOYEEM meaning nations and Gentiles. You Abraham, will be the father of many Gentiles, and many nations.
GENESIS 17.5-7 VERSE 7 The covenant is forever. That The GOD of Creation is GOD to Abraham and his descendants, the Jewish people forever. It cannot and will not be broken.
GENESIS 17.8 GOD has given Abraham and his descendants, the Jewish people, the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession. When GOD spoke these words some 4,000 years ago, Abraham was a stranger in Canaan, and Abraham and his wife Sarah were the only Jewish people on earth. And when The GOD of Israel brought the children of Israel into Canaan from Egyptian bondage, He renamed the land, The Land of Israel. That was some 3,400 years ago.
And part of GOD’s covenant to Abraham are these very important words to keep in mind for our study; GOD said in Verse 7, I will be GOD to you and your descendants. And in Verse 8, And I will be their GOD.
GENESIS 17.9 These words are also of utmost importance for our study. GOD said to Abraham, you shall keep My Covenant therefore, you and your descendants after you in their generations. Meaning forever. For The LORD said in Isaiah 66.22, For as the new Heavens and the new earth, which I will make shall remain before Me, saith The LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. Meaning Judaism and the Jewish people, Abraham’s seed, will remain forever.
When GOD said to Abraham, you shall keep My Covenant, therefore, you and your seed after you in their generations, The LORD GOD is commanding us to obey His Covenant. That is His Word and His Law forever. PSALM 105.8-10
Believing Gentiles, Believing non-Jewish people in Messiah are the children of Abraham, and like Abraham your father, you also are required to obey GOD, His Word, and His Law of Moses.
GALATIANS 3.6-7, GENESIS 26.4-5
Non-Jewish Believers in Messiah Yeshua are the children of Abraham by faith in Messiah. And like Abraham your father, you are obligated to obey GOD’s Voice. His Commandments, His Statutes, and His Laws. That is key for our study.
GENESIS 17.10-11 THUS CIRCUMCISION IS THE SIGN OF THE COVENANT GOD MADE BETWEEN GOD AND ABRAHAM AND HIS DESCENDANTS AFTER HIM.
GENESIS 17.12-14 VERSE 12 Circumcision is to be done at the age of 8 days old. And GOD’s covenant is an everlasting covenant.
But the New Testament, or the New Covenant teaches that non-Jewish Believers in Messiah are not compelled to be circumcised. Why?
I have two thoughts from Scripture why non-Jewish male Believers in Messiah are not required to be circumcised to participate in the Passover. And for the same reason, all non-Jewish Believers in Messiah are welcome to participate in the Passover.
First, let’s start with Paul’s explanation in COLOSSIANS 2.11
Non-Jewish male Believers in Messiah Yeshua have a spiritual circumcision. The spiritual circumcision comes from believing in Messiah Yeshua, AND putting off sins from your body. Putting off sins from your body is of huge importance because sin is breaking The Law of Moses, 1 John 3.4. Now you have put off sins from your body
by obeying the Law of Moses. You now obey it as GOD requires you, and you are no longer sinning when you obey GOD’S Law of Moses. And GOD Almighty is Yeshua The Messiah.
According to GOD’s New Covenant teaching, or His New Testament teaching for the forgiveness of sins found in Jeremiah 31.31-34, Hebrews 8.8-12, and Hebrews 10.16-17, when you received Messiah, when you received The New Covenant for the forgiveness of your sins, GOD put His Law in your inward parts, and wrote it in your heart, to obey. And you obey His Law. You obey GOD’s Law of Moses. And by obeying GOD’s Law of Moses, you have put off sins from your body. And GOD has become your GOD, and you are His people.
And Paul writes, this is the circumcision done by Messiah in that you have received Him, and you obey His Law of Moses.
Thus the Believing non-Jewish male in Messiah does not require circumcision to attend the LORD’s Passover when you do as Abraham your father did. Abraham obeyed the Voice of The LORD GOD. And all non-Jewish Believers in Messiah who obey GOD as Abraham your father did, are welcome to GOD’s Passover.
My other thought as to why non-Jewish male Believers in Messiah are not obligated to be circumcised to attend GOD’s Passover is found in Matthew 16.19.
MATTHEW 16.19 I believe Messiah’s Disciples went to Him in prayer asking Him NOT TO REQUIRE non-Jewish male Believers to be circumcised because of the heavy burden it might put on them. I believe His Disciples asked Him not to require non-Jewish men who have faith in The LORD, who are the children of Abraham, who obey GOD, His Word, His Commandments, and His Law of Moses to exempt them of circumcision. And I believe The Messiah Yeshua, Who is GOD Almighty, said okay, they do not need to be circumcised.
Let’s look at Matthew 16.19
I will give you Peter, the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Messiah revealed to Peter and the others, just as He has revealed to man, all mankind, the requirements to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. And they understood those requirements, and did them. Believe in Messiah, and keep the Commandments and Laws of GOD. It’s that simple. And it’s that important.
And Messiah said, whatsoever you shall bind on earth, shall be bound in Heaven, by GOD. That is, whatsoever you require on earth, will be required in Heaven, by GOD.
And whatsoever you shall loose on earth, shall be loosed in Heaven, by GOD. That is, WHATSOEVER YOU DO NOT REQUIRE ON EARTH, WILL NOT BE REQUIRED IN HEAVEN, BY GOD.
And Yeshua is The LORD GOD, The GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And I believe The Messiah agreed with them that non-Jewish Believing men are not required to be circumcised.
Observing The Law of Moses is not a burden. In fact it’s easy. Observing Saturday Sabbath, keeping the Festivals of GOD found in Leviticus 23, obeying GOD’s food laws in Leviticus 11, and Deuteronomy 14: How hard is that? But circumcision could terrify some men from following The LORD. GOD is a merciful GOD.
ACTS 15.1-18-21
VERSE 10 The yoke is Talmud, the Rabbinic law.
VERSE 21 Go to the Synagogue. Meaning, Hear the teaching of Moses, that is the teaching of the Law of Moses. Hear it. Learn it. And do it.
Thus non-Jewish Believers can attend the Passover for the same reason non-Jewish male Believers in Messiah do not need to be circumcised to attend the Passover. Because you are the children of Abraham. You believe in Messiah Yeshua, The Almighty GOD, and you obey His Law of Moses.
EXODUS 12.46 Not breaking the Passover lamb’s bones is prophetic. The Romans did not break Messiah’s legs when they crucified Him. JOHN 19.33-36.
EXDUS 12.49 The One Law is The Law of Moses. GOD did not write one law for the Jewish people, and another for everyone else. I can only find one law in The Bible, and it is The Law of Moses. It is for all mankind. Ecclesiastes 12.13 reads, The whole duty of man is to fear GOD, and keep His Commandments. That is what The LORD GOD, Yeshua The Messiah requires from all of us, to fear GOD, and keep His Commandments. It’s that simple. They are not difficult. But very important for salvation.
So in conclusion. Deuteronomy 6.4 sums it all up. Hear O Israel, The LORD our GOD, The LORD is One. Hear every Word GOD speaks, and obey His every Word. And there is only ONE GOD. There are no others, and Yeshua The Messiah is that ONE GOD.
And for non-Jewish men who believe in Yeshua The Messiah, and you live your life according to Deuteronomy 6.4, you are not compelled to be circumcised. You have the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven because you believe in Messiah Yeshua, and you obey the ONE LAW OF GOD, HIS LAW OF MOSES.
Shalom, Ira Weinstein
THE EXODUS BEGINS. EXODUS 12.31-41
Shalom. Our teaching this morning will be from Exodus 12.31-41. But first, let’s set the scene for what is about to happen.
It’s midnight, the evening of the first day of the first Passover. And The LORD had just passed through Egypt killing all the firstborn Egyptians from Pharaoh’s firstborn, even the firstborn of those in prison, and the firstborn cattle. And there was a great cry throughout Egypt because there was not one house where there was not one dead. And Pharaoh and his servants rose up, and Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in the night.
READ EXODUS 12.31-41
EXODUS 12.31-33 The Word of GOD, His predictions, and His prophecies are all fulfilled. The Exodus begins.
GOD had said to Abraham some 650 years earlier before this day, your descendants Abraham, the Jewish people will be slaves in a land not theirs. That land of course turned out to be Egypt. They will be afflicted and serve them 400 years, The LORD said, and I will judge that nation, meaning The LORD will punish Egypt according to His Law. GOD’s Law is every Word that proceeds out of His Mouth.
The king of Egypt had killed the newborn Jewish male babies. And the Pharaoh continuously rejected The Word of GOD, disobeying Him by not letting His people go from the land that they may serve Him. Thus The LORD GOD judged Egypt. He condemned and punished the Egyptians for their acts of disobedience toward Him. All judgment and punishments by GOD are because of disobedience to Him. That is the very reason The LORD will bring this world to a violent end at His appointed time in the future. Because they have disobeyed Him, violating His Laws, Isaiah 24.4-6.
Now The LORD had brought upon Egypt 10 plagues. The 10th plague, GOD had passed through Egypt killing all the firstborn Egyptians as vengeance to the Egyptians for killing the Jewish newborn male babies. And at the Red Sea, The LORD will end those plagues when He causes the waters of the ocean to collapse upon the Egyptian armies, killing them all.
So after GOD’s judgment upon the Egyptians, the children of Israel, GOD said, will come out with great riches. And they came out with great riches after 400 years of hard Egyptian slavery exactly as GOD spoke. His prophetic words are found in Genesis 15.13-14.
I take these words of deliverance to have an encouraging and important meaning to those who are experiencing affliction, and oppression. The LORD your GOD will deliver you also to a peaceful surrounding. After all one of GOD’s Names is Yeshua, Yeshua The Messiah. And Yeshua means Salvation. The LORD will deliver you, support you, and help you. For many of us, He already has.
And GOD had also said to Abraham when he and his wife Sarah were the only Jewish people in the world. GOD said, I will make of you a great nation. And that also was fulfilled in Egypt. Israel is a great nation. GENESIS 12.1-3
VERSE 3 GOD cursed Pharaoh and the Egyptians for cursing the children of Israel.
Pharaoh had also said to Moses in Exodus 12.32, and bless me also. Why would GOD bless this guy for all he did against GOD’s people? There was no remorse, no repentance, no nothing. Thus GOD cursed him.
EXODUS 12.34 A kneading trough is a box-like thing to make bread. And the children of Israel were moving quickly to get out of Egypt after a history of 400 years of severe bondage. The Exodus is beginning. SEE VERSE 33
EXODUS 12.35-36 Borrowed is not a great word, nor is the word lent, as in the Egyptians lent to them. The proper word is request or ask. And rather than lent, the Egyptians granted their requests. The children of Israel knew they would never return the stuff.
Our GOD is an amazing GOD. He had just passed through Egypt at midnight killing all the firstborn Egyptians, and immediately afterward, He turned the hearts of the Egyptians to the Jewish people in kindness. The LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. They gave the children of Israel everything they requested. Slaves are rarely wealthy, but GOD saw to it that the children of Israel left Egypt with great riches. They spoiled the Egyptians, The Bible says. They stripped them of just about everything they had.
Moses and the people knew where they were going, to the land of Canaan. They knew they were done with Egypt and on their way to their own land. GOD called the land, a land flowing with milk and honey. Therefore GOD brought their armies out of Egypt because He knew there would be relentless battles. Not only to conquer the land, but also to possess it. The land that GOD would give them for an everlasting possession. Today, some 3,400 years later, it’s still a battle for the Jewish people to defend and remain in their own land.
EXODUS 3.14-17, GENESIS 17.8
EXODUS 12.37-38 About 600,000 on foot that were men beside or not counting women and children. The Hebrew word for men is GEHVAREEM meaning men, warriors equipped for battle, men of military age from 18 years and older.
So it is estimated that between 2 1/2 to 3 million people including a mixed multitude went up to the Promised Land. A miracle of mighty proportions by The LORD GOD of Israel. And by the way, His Name is Yeshua, Yeshua The Messiah.
A mixed multitude is a people who were not Jewish, not of the children of Israel. And the word multitude in Hebrew is RAV meaning a large number of people who were not Jewish, left Egypt, joining the Jewish people, and going up to the Promised Land.
VERSE 37 Rameses was, and maybe still is a place and region in Egypt that the children of Israel built as slaves. EXODUS 1.11
According to historical maps, Rameses was close by Goshen where the children of Israel lived in Egypt. But The LORD led the people south from Rameses to Succoth because, The Bible says, He did not want to lead them by the way of the Philistines because they might have a change of heart when they see war and return to Egypt. EXODUS 13.17-18
HARNESSED – able-bodied, ready for battle.
If you were to look at a map of Egypt and Israel, The LORD could have led the people from Goshen East to Israel without crossing the Red Sea. Sources say, that could have been a 9 or 10 day journey. That would have been the quickest and most direct route to Canaan. But also would have been the quickest way back to Egypt if the people had a change of heart when they see war.
So The LORD led the people south, down to Mt. Sinai in the Sinai Peninsula, and then across the Red Sea into current-day Jordan or Saudi Arabia. And then after the many battles, up to Canaan where they encountered more battles to conquer the land of their inheritance that GOD renamed Eretz Y’Israel, The Land of Israel. That was some 3,400 years ago.
So GOD inspired faith in His people, for they followed Moses into the wilderness where the lack of food and water would have terrified just about anyone who was not prepared to rely on The LORD their GOD.
In Verse 38, let’s read it, the people “went up” to the land of Canaan or Israel. We always go up to Israel, or up to Jerusalem. Never down.&n
bsp; The Hebrew word Aliyah also means going up. It means to immigrate to Israel, or settle permanently in The Land.
EXODUS 12.39-40 The United States became an independent nation on July 4th, 1776, separating us from Great Britain. Thus we have been independent for 236 years. The children of Israel lived in Egypt for 430 years. 400 years in slavery.
EXODUS 12.41 All the hosts of The LORD in Hebrew is KAL TSEEVOTE YEHOVAH, meaning GOD’s armies and His people. The LORD was preparing them for battles. A lot of battles.
The promises of GOD are never empty. He does not speak in vain. Every Word He says comes to pass, and every promise He makes comes to realization. As The Bible says in Verse 41, “And it came to pass, at the end of 430 years, to the very day it came to pass that all the hosts of The LORD went out from the Land of Egypt. Exactlhy as GOD prophesied (Genesis 15.13).
So let’s look at some of GOD’s promises that are never empty, never in vain, but all come to pass exactly as spoken by The LORD our GOD.
MATTHEW 24.12-3
VERSE 12 – INIQUITY – in Greek is anomia. Meaning lawless, violation of The Law of Moses. Transgressing, disobeying and disregarding The Law of Moses.
ABOUND means increase and multiply.
The love of MANY, Yeshua says will be cold because their love for GOD will be cold, because they disobey GOD. They reject His Law of Moses.
VERSE 13 But those that endure to the end, those who persevere and continue living in obedience to The LORD their GOD, submitting and doing His Law of Moses, shall be saved.
LUKE 11.9-10 Ask The LORD, and it will be given to you.
MATTHEW 6.33 Seek GOD first, and His righteousness. GOD’s righteousness and our righteousness are the same. We both live by doing what GOD commands in His Law of Moses. Then The LORD your GOD will add to you everything you need in life.
ISAIAH 51.12 It is The LORD Who comforts us. It is He in Whom we should trust and rely on.
PSALM 91.3 GOD will deliver you from the traps that certain people will set to cause you trouble. And He will deliver you from all deadly diseases.
PSALM 103.1-22 and MATTHEW 6.14-15
ISAIAH 30.21 If your desire is to lead your life according to GOD’s instructions, His Word, His Commandments, and His Law, GOD will show you the Way.
EXODUS 15.26 This is the best-kept secret for good health. Obedience to GOD. Doing that which is right in His sight. Obeying His Statutes, His Laws, and His Commandments. This is the Way to good health, even excellent health.
1 KINGS 3.14 I will lengthen your days, GOD says, means eternal life, if you obey GOD, walking in His Ways, keeping His Statutes and Commandments. That is GOD’s formula for eternal life in Heaven in your walk with The Messiah Yeshua.
DEUTERONOMY 7.6-9 Yes, being chosen is by the grace of GOD. It is a gift of GOD, and not of works (Ephesians 2.8-9). But GOD requires work from His elect. He requires us to love Him, and keep His Commandments which collectively is The Law of Moses. Because, as Messiah says in Matthew 24.13, those that endure to the end will be saved. And endurance takes work, and our walk with The LORD our GOD is a labor of love. It is a work of love.
LEVITICUS 26.1-13 When we obey The Voice of The LORD our GOD, doing what He commands, His blessings will come upon you, and overtake you. If you will obey The Voice of The LORD your GOD.

YESHUA, PASSOVER, AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE – EXODUS 12.21-30
EXODUS 12.21-30
Shalom. Our teaching this morning will be from Exodus 12.21-30. And these words are just prior to the children of Israel leaving Egypt after 400 years of Egyptian slavery on the first day of the first Passover.
READ EXODUS 12.21-30
EXODUS 12.21 The Passover is The Lamb, and GOD said, kill the passover.
PASSOVER – PEHSAKH – according to various definitions, Passover or Pehsakh means protection, shielding, saving, or rescuing, or simply pass over. Because The LORD GOD passed over the homes of the Jewish People, and saved them when He killed the firstborn of the Egyptians.
Originally, Passover referred only to the sacrifice of the Passover lamb. The Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days was another Festival. But later, Passover became the name of the entire Festival, The Sacrifice of The Passover Lamb, and The Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days. EXODUS 12.17
Back to the word passover. In the King James Bible and perhaps other Christian Bibles, the word Passover is replaced with easter in ACTS 12.4.
This word easter comes from the Greek word Pascha which comes from the Hebrew word Pehsakh which means Passover.
easter is explained in the Wyciffe Bible Dictionary as follows: The English word easter is thought to be derived from the name of a Teutonic goddess of spring. (Teutonic, according to Webster’s Dictionary, is charactistically German). easter was adopted by Christians to its present usage about the 8th century after Christ.
Unger’s Bible Dictionary, by Moody Press, describes easter as follows: The word easter is of Saxon or German origin, eastra, the goddess of spring in whose honor sacrifices were offered about Passover time each year. By the 8th century Anglo-Saxons had adopted the name to designate the celebration of Christ’s Resurrection.
Messiah’s Resurrection, however is prophesied and predicted by The LORD GOD Himself that it would happen during the seven days of a future Passover. LEVITICUS 23.9-12, from VERSE 5
WAVE – NOOF – elevated, wave as to wave up and down.
In LEVITICUS 23.11 the day after the Sabbath is sunday. Let’s look at the timing of Messiah’s death and Resurrection.
WEDNESDAY EVENING was Messiah’s Passover Seder or The Last Supper.
THURSDAY, the first day of Passover, Messiah was killed and buried in the tomb. 1 day in the grave.
FRIDAY AND SATURDAY Messiah was in the grave two days for a total of 3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS IN THE TOMB, just as Messiah predicted.
SUNDAY, the day after the Sabbath, Messiah rose from the dead. He was resurrected exactly as prophesied in Leviticus 23.11 on the day after the Sabbath. As a point of information, that prophesy of the Lord God was made some 1,400 years before Messiah’s death, burial and resurrection.
LUKE 24.1-3, MATTHEW 12.40
According to the Wycliffe Bible Dictionary, Christ’s Resurrection is historically attested by the CHANGING of the day of worship from the Jewish Sabbath (Saturday) to the first day of the week (sunday) as a testimony to the day upon with Christ arose.
Saturday Sabbath is not the Jewish Sabbath. It is the Sabbath of The LORD. LEVITICUS 23.3
And GOD’s Word Stands Forever. No one can change it. ISAIAH 40.8
The Wycliffe Bible Dictionary also writes, the Church early came to realize that The LORD’s Supper replaces the Passover observance completely. (Please see ISAIAH 40.8 above)
BACK TO
EXODUS 12.21 Moses in Hebrew is MOSHEH meaning drawn out of the water, or saved from the water. The name Moses is from Egyptian origin.
So Moses called for all the elders of Israel and told them to take a lamb for their families, and kill the Passover. The whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill the lamb on the 14th day of the month in the evening. That was the beginning of the first Passover.
Exodus Chapter 12 concerns itself with a number of prophecies with respect to the coming Jewish Messiah Yeshua. Messiah was killed on the first day of Passover, His blood, like the Passover lamb in Egypt, delivers, saves, and rescues us, and according to the Word of GOD in Leviticus 23.9-12, Messiah rose from the dead on the day after the Saturday Sabbath on sunday. And His Resurrection is our hope that we likewise will be resurrected to eternal life.
ROMANS 6.5
In The New Testament, Messiah is called our Passover, Who was sacrificed for us, and the Lamb of GOD Who takes away the sins of the world.
1 CORINTHIANS 5.7, JOHN 1.29
It’s important for all to understand that Messiah Yeshua in the flesh as a human being 2,000 years ago was GOD Almighty, The GOD of Creation, The Holy One of Israel Who gave His life for us, yes, as a human being. But also Messiah was fully GOD. He is the atonement for all His Creatoin. There is no other way to have our sins forgiven but only by the shed blood of The Messiah Yeshua Who is The Mighty GOD and the Everlasting Father. Isaiah 9.6(5). Messiah Yeshua is Jehovah, YHVH, Elohim, Ha Shem, The One GOD of Creation, The Lamb of GOD which takes away the sin of the world.
EXODUS 12.22-23 HYSSOP is or are leaves of a plant that are highly aromatic and perhaps have little thorns.
THE LINTEL is the top of the door frame.
And the destroyer of the firstborn Egyptians was GOD Himself and not an angel of death.
The Word of GOD is like GOD Himself. GOD never changes, and He lives forever. And His Word never changes, and it stands forever. I say this because The LORD said, it is the blood that makes atonement or forgiveness for the soul. There is no other way to have our sins forgiven except by the shed blood of The Messiah Yeshua.
So then, someone might ask you, why is it so important to have our sins forgiven?
1. Sin separates us from our GOD, and causes The LORD to blot out those who have sinned against Him from His Book of Life.
ISAIAH 59.2, EXODUS 32.33
2. Sin and unrighteousness are an abomination to The LORD GOD.
GENESIS 6.5-7
3. Sin is disobeying GOD, disobeying His Law of Moses. Sin, when not forgiven by The LORD, brings eternal death, and a truckload of problems. That is why it is so important to have our sins forgiven by The LORD our GOD.
GENESIS 2.17, 2 SAMUEL 12.13, 1 JOHN 3.4
4. And by having our sins forgiven by The LORD GOD, The LORD gives us life, a good life, and eternal life in Heaven.
JEREMIAH 31
.34, forgiven by The New Covenant Who is Messiah Yeshua.
LEVITICUS 17.11, DANIEL 12.1-2, JOHN 3.14-16, MATTHEW 26.26-28, JOHN 11.25-26
Forgiveness of sins comes only from the shed blood of The Messiah Yeshua Who is GOD Almighty, The GOD of Creation.
ATONEMENT – KAHFAR – cancel, cleanse, pardon, make reconciliation (with GOD)
EXODUS 12.24 Passover is to be observed forever, and nothing replaces it.
Think of what happened on the first Passover.
GOD delivered and saved the Jewish people from Egyptian bondage and death. The Lord said to Abraham, In you shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12.3 From the Jewish people, The Messiah Yeshua came in the flesh Who has Salvation for the world. The Jewish people are GOD’s witnesses to mankind that there is only ONE GOD. Through The Bible that is written by Jewish people, we have brought The Word of GOD to the world. GOD’s Laws, Commandments, His Covenants, and the promises of GOD to all mankind. And some 1,400 years after the Exodus from Egypt, GOD, The Jewish Messiah Yeshua made His Soul an offering for sin for all humanity, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
EXODUS 12.25-27 The Passover Seder, that is the Passover banquet and service on the eve of Passover is always about the telling of the Passover story. It’s about The LORD’s deliverance of the Jewish people when He passed over the houses of the children of Israel when He killed the firstborn Egyptians and saved the Jewish people alive. And the people bowed their heads and worshipped. ISAIAH 31.5
EXODUS 12.28 It’s important to do what GOD commands us. That’s all The LORD requires of us. Obedience to Him.
EXODUS 12.29-30 GOD always does what He says He will do. In this case, The LORD gave Pharaoh a good reason to let My people go. And one thing I’ve noticed in The Bible is that it is filled with the prophecies and predictions of GOD. And they all come to pass just as GOD said. And those prophecies that must happen in the future will happen exactly as GOD said. They will all come to pass.
GOD told Abraham that his descendants would be strangers in a land not theirs, and they would be afflicted 400 years. And that is what happened. The land not theirs of course was Egypt. And after 400 years of Egyptian slavery, just as GOD spoke, He brought the people out to their own land, the land of Canaan which GOD renamed Israel after Jacob.
Everything GOD says and predicts comes to pass exactly as He said. He knows the end from the beginning and everything in between because He made it all, and caused it to happen. It’s no surprise to GOD, and GOD is Messiah Yeshua. It’s all preordained, predetermined and predestined by GOD.
Thus I think on the great and simple words of Deuteronomy 6.4 which everyone should pay attention to. The words are, “Hear, O Israel, The LORD our GOD, The LORD is ONE”. Hear GOD, pay attention to what He says. And obey Him, His every Word. There is only ONE GOD. That makes life simple
and uncomplicated when you read The Bible. There is only ONE GOD. There are no others. Yeshua The Messiah, even when He was a human being in the flesh is that ONE GOD. There are no others. That is The Word of GOD. Yeshua The Messiah is that ONE GOD. He is GOD Almighty, The GOD Who fills Heaven and earth, The Creator of Heaven and earth, The Everlasting Father. Messiah is The Father, The Son, and The Spirit. Messiah is all in all. That whosoever believes in The Messiah Yeshua will not perish, but have everlasting life. Those are the words of GOD.

SUCCOT/TABERNACLES, 2012. LEVITICUS 23.33-44
Shalom.
Today is the 15th day of the Hebrew month Tishrei, the first day of Tabernacles or Succot which is an eight day Festival of the Lord God. So this morning our study will be two fold. First, we will see what The LORD requires of us to observe Succot. And second, since Succot is a time of rejoicing before The LORD, we will teach on a Psalm of rejoicing, Psalm 34.
FIRST READ LEVITICUS 23.33-44
LEVITICUS
23.33-34 Today is the fifteenth day of the Hebrew seventh month, Tishrei.
23.35 HOLY CONVOCATION – MEEKRAH KODESH
Holy gathering of the people for a Service dedicated to The LORD.
And it is a Sabbath. No work is to be done on this day.
23.36 An atoning sacrifice is required. Ours is The Messiah Yeshua. And the eighth day is a holy convocation, a Service dedicated to The LORD. Also a Sabbath. No work shall be done on that day.
23.40 It is a time of rejoicing.
23.41 This Feast and all GOD’s Festivals of Leviticus 23 will be held annually forever, here on earth, in The Millennium, and in Heaven forever.
23.42 And the children of Israel shall dwell in booths or succahs, seven days.
23.44 Leviticus 23 outlines all GOD’s Festivals, The Feasts of The LORD.
Psalm 34 is a wonderful writing about rejoicing in our LORD GOD Who is Yeshua The Messiah, GOD Almighty, Ha Shem Himself.
PSALM 34.1 These words of Psalm 34 were written by King David, and though David was the king of Israel, he experienced the ups and downs of life, the joys and frustrations, and the victories and failures we all experience. David writes, I will bless The LORD at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Sure, it’s easy to praise The LORD in the good times. I say to you, it is equally good to praise Him in difficult times because The LORD will always deliver you, help you, honor you, and glorify you. And always know He will heal you, and comfort you.
ISAIAH 57.15 REVIVE – KHY – to live. GOD will cause you to flourish again, and be refreshed. You will feel alive again.
CONTRITE – DAHKHAH – crushed, bruised, a feeling of being beaten to pieces. GOD will revive you.
PSALM 34.2 The word humble is a very important word when it comes to leading our life with The LORD GOD. Humble means being submissive and obedient to The LORD your GOD. That comes from obeying Him, His every Word, His Law of Moses, and of course loving Him with all your heart. Then you will lack nothing good. You will cry out to Him in times of difficulty and The LORD will hear you, and deliver you from every problem.
PSALM 34.3 What does it mean to magnify The LORD? Magnify comes from the Hebrew word GAHDAHL which means to honor The LORD, boast about Him, and take great pride in Him.
Exalt His Name together. Praise Him on the highest, glorify Him, and worship The LORD your GOD, Yeshua The Messiah, The Almighty GOD, Jehovah.
PSALM 34.4 More reasons to rejoice before The LORD. Know for sure The LORD GOD will deliver you from all your fears. He will deliver you from all your terrors. Sometimes we become paralyzed from fear, but GOD delivers us from all our fears. Because of the power of GOD, and His love for us, The LORD delivers us from every danger, and from all our fears. Our fears will not happen to us. It is a promise of GOD, and a good reason to rejoice before The LORD always.
PSALM 34.5-6 We look to The LORD and become lightened, meaning we become cheerful, and radiant. And we are never ashamed. We are never disappointed in our hope.
Why are we never disappointed when we look to The LORD? Because when we cry out to Him, He hears us, and saves us from all our troubles. The word saved in Hebrew is YAHSHAH, and The Name Yeshua, as in Yeshua The Messiah comes from this word. Messiah’s Name Yeshua means The LORD SAVES us from all our troubles and fears, He FREES us, DEFENDS us, DELIVERS us, and RESCUES us, and makes us SAFE. And He gives us the VICTORY and gives us SALVATION. The LORD Yeshua, GOD Almighty saves us out of all our troubles. Praise The LORD, and rejoice before Him always.
PSALM 34.7 The Angel of The LORD in most cases is The LORD GOD Himself. And The LORD GOD is Yeshua The Messiah, The Creator of Heaven and earth. He is The One Who encamps round about us, protects us, and delivers us. But GOD has a condition for His protection and deliverance. The Bible says, The Angel of The LORD encamps round about them WHO FEAR HIM.
Fearing GOD is a commandment of the LORD. Be afraid of Him, because Yeshua says, Fear GOD because He is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. And fearing GOD results in obeying Him. That is what GOD requires of us. Obedience to His every Word, and His Law of Moses. And remember, Yeshua is GOD Almighty Who gave The Law to Moses for all the world to obey. DEUTERONOMY 28.58, MATTHEW 10.28, ZECHARIAH 3.1-2, 6-7
Then The Angel of The LORD will encamp around you, and deliver you, always
PSALM 34.8-9 Blessed is the man or woman who trusts in Him, and there is no want, or lack of anything to those who fear Him.
PSALM 34.10 Those who seek The LORD shall not want any good thing. The Hebrew word for good is TOVE which also means prosperity. So those who seek The LORD, those who are humble and obedient to The LORD their GOD, and fear Him, that person will prosper and lack nothing. And that includes huge blessings.
PSALM 34.11-12 What person desires life, and loves many days that we may see good? The answer has to be everyone. Everyone desires a life, a good life, and a prosperous life of happiness, and would love to have many days, and see good. And David tells us how we can accomplish that in the following verses.
PSALM 34.13-14 Keep your tongue from evil. Don’t even speak anything that’s evil. Don’t ever speak guile. Don’t deceive anybody. Don’t cheat anybody.
And depart from evil. The Hebrew word for evil is RAH, and yes, of course evil means evil, but we are also told to depart from the evil that displeases GOD and that is anything that is wrong that causes you to disobey GOD. And the only way to know good from evil, not doing any wrong, is to learn GOD’s laws and commandments from The Bible, and live by them, and do them.
PSALM 34.15 Now David is speaking about the righteous. The eyes of The LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.
Righteous in Hebrew is STAHDEEK. The righteous are those who obey GOD’s Law of Moses. Those who are lawabiding obeying GOD’s Statutes, Precepts, Ordinances, Commandments, and Laws. The Law of Christ, or The Law of Messiah is The Law of Moses. And those who obey it are righteous. The eyes of The LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.
PROVERBS 3.32, PROVERBS 10.3, 16, 21, 24, 25, 28 30, 32, MATTHEW 13.41-43,
ISAIAH 51.7, ROMANS 2.13, 1 JOHN 2.29
PSALM 34.16-17 These words are the core teachings of The Bible. The Face of The LORD is against those who do evil, those who wrong GOD and disobey Him. But the righteous, those who serve GOD and obey Him, GOD hears our cry, and delivers us out of all our troubles. That is a promise of GOD Who magnifies His Word above all His Name. PSALM 138.2
PSALM 34.18 GOD is near those who have a broken heart, and He saves those who are crushed, and delivers them from their hurt. David wrote those w
ords from experience. Many of us can agree.
PSALM 34.19 These are some of the most comforting words in The Bible. “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, (not comforting) but The LORD delivers us out of them all.” BEING RIGHTEOUS, BEING LAWABIDING, LIVING YOUR LIFE ACCORDING TO GOD’S LAW OF MOSES, IS CRUCIAL IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD GOD.
PSALM 34.20 I believe this is prophecy concerning The Messiah Yeshua Whose Soul was made an offering for sin some 1,000 years after David wrote these words. Not one of His bones is broken. JOHN 19.32-37
PSALM 34.21 There are those that hate the righteous. The righteous are those who fear GOD and obey His Law of Moses. And those who hate the righteous will be desolate, meaning they will be guilty, punished, desolate and destroyed.
PSALM 34.22 The servant of GOD is like all servants. We obey our Master. Our Master is The LORD GOD Almighty, The Creator of Heaven and earth, The Messiah Yeshua. We are His servants, and we trust in Him, and we will never be desolate. And we thank David for this Psalm.
Let’s highlight the blessings of the righteous.
GOD hears us, and delivers us out of all our troubles.
The Angel of The LORD encamps around those that fear Him, and GOD always delivers us from all trouble.
Blessed is the person who trusts in The LORD.
Those who fear GOD, doing what He says, lack nothing.
GOD hears the cry of the righteous and delivers us from all our troubles, and saves those with a crushed spirit.
Yes, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but GOD delivers us out of them all.
So, yes, bless The LORD at all times. His praise should be continually in your mouth.
Shalom, Ira Weinstein
