“LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR IMAGE”

Shalom.  Our teaching this morning will be from Exodus 33.7-11.  But first, we will start with verse one, and we have a title for our message.  “Let Us make man in Our Image”.

                            READ EXODUS 33.1-11

EXODUS 33.7  Because GOD said, I will not go up in the midst of you, for you are a stiffnecked people, lest I consume you in the way, Moses moved the Tabernacle far outside the camp.  The camp was where the people lived in their tents, some three million Jewish people and a mixed multitude. VERSE 3

This particular Tabernacle was a temporary place of worship and not the permanent Tabernacle of the Congregation that GOD described to Moses to make while Moses was in the mountain with GOD 40 days, and 40 nights.  Nor was the Tabernacle that was moved outside the camp Moses’ personal tent as some suppose it was.

The permanent Tabernacle of the Congregation was completed later, and was used for worship and sacrifice in the wilderness and in Israel until Solomon’s Temple was completed some 400 years later.
EXODUS 40.30-33, JOSHUA 18.1

Some Jewish commentators say that GOD’s plan to abide among the people was completely withdrawn because of GOD’s anger toward His people for making the golden calf and calling it god.

I disagree because The Bible says, The LORD spoke to Moses Face to face in the Tabernacle that Moses moved outside the camp.  Thus GOD continued to dwell among His people as He promised, but not inside the camp, but outside.  EXODUS 25.8, EXODUS 33.11

Also, certain commentators write that GOD was so angry with His people Israel that He alienated Himself from the people, and sent an angel instead of Himself to lead them.  The angel, the commentators say, was punishment because GOD would not accompany a rebellious people.  Verse 2.

However, The Angel was GOD Himself.  The Angel was The Angel of The LORD Who appeared to Moses in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush, telling Moses that he, Moses will bring forth GOD’s people, the Children of Israel out of Egypt.  EXODUS 3.1-6, 10

Let’s look at EXODUS 23.20-23 that speaks of The Angel.
VERSE 21  For My Name is in Him, GOD said.  GOD’s Name, Yehovah, or Elohim, or Yeshua, or perhaps another Name of GOD was in The Angel because The Angel was GOD.

GOD promises that He will never forsake His people, or fail them.  GOD will never leave us alone.
DEUTERONOMY 4.30-31, DEUTERONOMY 31.6, 8

EXODUS 33.8-10  This was the temporary Tabernacle that was outside the camp.  And the people rose up to worship when they saw the Cloudy Pillar, a cloud that was like a standing column that stood at the Tabernacle door.  They stood and worshipped because they knew that the Cloudy Pillar was the LORD.
VERSE 9.

EXODUS 33.11  We read here in The Torah that The LORD spoke to Moses Face to face as a man speaks to his friend.

Years later, Yeshua The Messiah said to the Pharisees, today’s ultra-orthodox Jewish men, “You neither know Me nor My Father.  If you had known Me, you should have known My Father also.  JOHN 8.19-20

Yeshua told the Pharisees, they don’t know Him, because had they known Yeshua The Messiah, they would have known The Father because Yeshua The Messiah is The Father.  Yeshua The Messiah is GOD The Father.  ISAIAH 9.6, (Hebrew Bible ISAIAH 9.5), JOHN 14.7-9

Let’s look at DEUTERONOMY 6.4, a very familiar verse of Scripture.  “Hear O Israel, The LORD our GOD, The LORD is One.”  Or in Hebrew, “Shema Y’Israel, Adonay Elohaynu, Adonay Eh’Khad”.

When we as non-Hebrew speakers seek to learn the meaning of the Hebrew word Shema, as in Shema Y’Israel, we learn that Shema means to hear intelligently, and be obedient to what we hear.  The LORD is saying, Obey every Word GOD speaks, O Israel.

And GOD’s Words are not only for Israel, but for all mankind to hear and obey.
Psalm 2.1-5, Ecclesiastes 12.13, Matthew 4.4, Mark 12.28-31.

The Shema continues, “Hear O Israel, The LORD our GOD, The LORD is One.”  The LORD is One in Hebrew is Adonay Eh’Khad, or correctly Yehovah eh’khad, YEHOVAH IS ONE.

The Hebrew word eh’khad is one of a number of Hebrew words for one.  However, and this is very important, this Hebrew word that GOD used for one, eh’khad, is plural in its meaning.  Such as alike, altogether, the same, one and the same, BUT ONE.

The Shema teaches us and all mankind, that GOD is ONE.  There is only ONE GOD.  But The ONE GOD of Creation, is plural in His Being.  GOD is a plural of one, BUT ONE.

Let’s look at GENESIS 1.26
And GOD said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness.  In Hebrew;
VAH’YO’MEHR ELOHIM NAH’AH’SEH AH’DAHM B’STAHL’MAYNU KEED’MOO’TAYNU

GOD in Hebrew is Elohim meaning GODs, G-O-D-s.

Let us make man in Hebrew is NAH’AH’SEH AH’DAHM

In Our image is B’STAHL’MAYNU

After Our likeness is KEED’MOO’TAYNU

GOD in His Being is plural.  GOD is a plural of one but one.  The GOD of Creation is Elohim, GODs,
G-O-D-s.  He is also AYL, GOD singular.  But GOD uses His Name Elohim thousands of times in Scripture, but AYL, GOD singular, not more than 200 times.

GOD, though He remained in Heaven, also spoke Face to face with Moses in the Tabernacle.  And as we know, GOD spoke Face to face with a number of people on earth, while He remained in Heaven.  This explains just a portion of His plurality.  Being in Heaven and earth at the same time.
EXODUS 33.11, GENESIS 17.1, GENESIS 18.1, MATTHEW 18.10

GOD uses The Name ELOHIM meaning GODs, G-O-D-s to explain His Nature.  Because The ONE GOD is The Father, The Son, The Messiah Yeshua, often The Son of Man, The Spirit, The Holy Spirit, The Glory of GOD, The Shikynah, The Angel of GOD; the Fire in the midst of the bush, an Angel, the Cloudy Pillar, the Fire that gave the people light during the night, and probably a whole lot more.  GOD is The ONE GOD in ALL His appearances, who are ALL ONE AND THE SAME, GOD Almighty.

DANIEL 7.13-14
One like the Son of Man is Messiah Yeshua, the GOD of Creation, coming to the Ancient of days, The GOD of Creation.  YEHOVAH ELOHIM IS ONE, Eh’khad.

MATTHEW 26.62-66
Yeshua The Messiah is GOD ALMIGHTY, The Creator of Heaven and earth.  And the court knew well what Messiah was saying.  That He is ELOHIM, The Messiah of GOD.  And they wanted Him killed.  But this was GOD’s Plan to make Himself our Atonement for sin.  ISAIAH 53.10

Let’s look at some Scriptures that describe The  Mighty GOD, The Everlasting Father, The Messiah Yeshua.

ISAIAH 9.6-7 (Hebrew Bible, Isaiah 9.5-6)  The Child and Son born to the Jewish people is a human being, but also The Mighty GOD, The Everlasting Father, The King of Israel.  And He is Wonderful, and an extraordinary Counsellor.  He is The Messiah Yeshua.

And that Child, GOD Almighty as a human being was born from a Jewish virgin.  ISAIAH 7.14

The word sign in Hebrew is OTE meaning miracle.  A woman having a child is a wonderful thing, but not a miracle.  A virgin having a Child is a miracle.  And His Name is EE’MAH’NU’ALE meaning With Us Is GOD. And He is Yeshua The Messiah.  The sign that the Jewish Messiah would be born of a virgin.

JOHN 10.30  Yeshua The Messiah said, I and My Father are One.&n
bsp; The Hebrew word for One is EH’KHAD meaning One.  One and the same.  Messiah did not say, I and My Father are two.  He said, I and My Father are One.

The Prophet Isaiah saw The LORD in the Temple sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up.
ISAIAH 6.1, 5

LORD in Hebrew is YEHOVAH, and His Nature is plural as is Elohim, G-O-D-S because Deuteronomy 6.4 reads, “Hear O Israel, YEHOVAH our GOD, YEHOVAH is ONE, EH’KHAD.  The LORD is Yehovah Who is ONE, Eh’khad, plural.

Messiah often speaks to The LORD.  Both are One and the Same, Elohim.  Confusing for us but not for GOD.  JOHN 17.1, PSALM 110.1, PSALM 45.6-7, (Hebrew Bible PSALM 45.7-8)

Let’s look at some other Scriptures that describe Messiah Yeshua, Elohim, our Everlasting Father.
ISAIAH 40.28-31, ISAIAH 44.6,ISAIAH 48.16-18, JOHN 12.45, ISAIAH 60.16, 19-20, ISAIAH 63.8, 16-19

Elohim, who is Messiah Yeshua, is also The Spirit, and The Holy Spirit.
GENESIS 1.1-2, PSALM 51.10-11, (Hebrew Bible PSALM 51.12-13), ISAIAH 63.9-12, JOHN 4.24

The Spirit of GOD is The Spirit of Messiah.  ROMANS 8.9

Elohim said, “Let us make man in Our image, after Our likeness”.  Elohim is GOD, all that is GOD.  The Father, The Messiah, The Spirit, The Holy Spirit, The Glory of GOD, and so much more.  All are The One GOD.  All are One and the Same.  There is no distinction.  There is no difference.  GOD is One.  There are no others.  And we are made in His image after His likeness.  How great is that?

And when we are in The Messianic Kingdom in Israel, we will be in the Image and Likeness of Elohim, Yeshua The Messiah.  And when we are in Heaven, throughout Eternity, we will be in the Image and Likeness of Elohim, Messiah Yeshua.  And when we see The Messiah Yeshua, we will be looking at The Father.  And we will see Him as He is, and we will be in His likeness.  1 JOHN 3.2, PSALM 17.15

However, “The LORD said to Moses, you cannot see My Face, for there shall no man see Me and live.”  Exodus 33.20.  Even though The LORD spoke Face to face with Moses, and Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and so many others.  Thus we will address that next week.  Our GOD is sure an interesting GOD.  He has no equal.

O LORD, WHY ARE YOU ANGRY?

Shalom.  Our teaching this morning will be from Exodus 33.3-6.  But first we will start from Verse 1.  And we have a title for our message; O LORD, why are You angry?

                            READ EXODUS 33.1-6

EXODUS 33.1-3  VERSE 3.  GOD calls Israel a Land flowing with milk and honey because it is beautiful with hills and valleys.  A Land of fertility, producing crops and livestock, and fruits and drinking water.  A Land that The LORD our GOD cares for, whose eyes are always upon it from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.  Israel is a Land flowing with milk and honey.  DEUTERONOMY 11.7-15, JOSHUA 5.6, EZEKIEL 20.5-6

(Ezekiel 20.6)  The LORD said, Israel is the glory of all Lands.  Glory in Hebrew is TSEH’VEE meaning prominent.  That is a Land that is important, well-know, and eminent.  A Land that is distinguished and beautiful, magnificent and glorious, with richness, goodliness, and pleasant.  A Land that is the glory of all Lands.

But The LORD remained angry with His people for making the idol, the golden calf.  They said, this is your god O Israel which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.  And Aaron built an altar for the idol, and called for a feast.  And the people worshipped it offering burnt offerings, and peace offerings to the graven image.  And they sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

And The LORD said to Moses, Your people which you brought out of the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves.  Now let Me alone that My wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them and make of you a great nation because they are a stiffnecked people.

But Moses pleaded with The LORD, and The LORD turned from the evil He thought to do to His people. And when Moses returned from the mountain, and seeing the abomination, The Mighty GOD of Israel commanded a great punishment upon the children of Israel, and 3,000 men were killed by the sword.

It’s interesting to note how Israel received her name from The LORD GOD of Israel.  From GOD wrestling with Jacob.  GENESIS 32.22-30, (Hebrew Bible – Genesis 32.23-31)

Rabbinic commentators view the name Israel to mean GOD fights, or he for whom GOD fights, or he who fights with GOD, or he who strives with GOD.

I believe the name Israel means, as a Prince you have striven with GOD.  And strangely the King James Bible is somewhat in agreement.

The Bible reads, Your name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel. (KJV).  For as a Prince you have power with GOD and with men, and have prevailed.  GENESIS 32.28, (Hebrew Bible – Genesis 32.29)

The wording in Hebrew, “For as a Prince you have power with GOD” is
KEE SAH’REE’TAH EEM ELOHIM.

I believe the Hebrew word SAH’REE’TAH meaning you have power, or you have striven, comes from the Hebrew word SAR meaning Prince.  Thus GOD also sees Israel as a Prince.  Israel means, For as a Prince you have striven with GOD.

When GOD came to Jacob, they entered into a fight, a wrestling match if you will.  And GOD let Jacob win, but not without consequences.  GOD touched the hollow of Jacob’s thigh while they wrestled, and Jacob’s thigh was put out of joint, perhaps even dislocated.

Thus, I see the name Israel meaning, “For as a Prince you have striven with GOD” as most fitting for us, the Jewish people, and our relationship with GOD over the years.

And Jacob said after wrestling with GOD, “I have seen GOD Face to face and my life is preserved”.  The word preserved in Hebrew is NAH’STAYHL meaning, my life is DELIVERED, and SAVED, and PRESERVED.  And that has been the history of our relationship with GOD.  We have striven in opposition with GOD often, but The LORD always preserves our lives and delivers us.  But still, He punishes us for opposing Him.  That is disobeying Him.

Let’s look at some history of our wrestling with GOD, and our opposition to Him that caused The LORD to be angry with us.

I have known for some time that we ourselves, Jewish and non-Jewish people bring on GOD’s anger because we disobey Him.  We disobey His Word.  We disobey His Commandments and His Laws that are written in The Law of Moses.  The whole world is stiffnecked, stubborn, hard to manage, and disobedient to GOD.

Disobedience to GOD is taught in this Country and every Country.  Disobedience to GOD is taught in Government, Schools, Churches, and just about everywhere.  Thus bringing on the anger and wrath of GOD.

Psalm 2.1-3 explains well the disobedience of mankind to GOD.  PSALM 2.1-3

The Kings of the earth, the chief supreme authorities, and the Rulers, those who rule and govern, take counsel together against The LORD and His Anointed, His Messiah, saying, let us break their bands and cast away their cords from us.  That is, let us break GOD’s Word, and His Commandments, and His Laws that are written in The Law of Moses and free ourselves from GOD.  And when people free themselves from GOD by disobeying Him, they live ungodly, unholy, lawless lives.  And that brings on GOD’s anger and wrath.

Disobedience to GOD starts with the Kings and Rulers of the earth.  And they pass down their disobedience to the people.  When have you ever heard a King, or a Ruler, or Government, or School, or Church, or Business Leader say, or teach that we must obey the Commandments of GOD, and His Laws written in The Law of Moses?  Never. They teach and do the opposite.  Maybe in Israel GOD’s Laws are taught, and in the Synagogues.  But their focus is mainly on the Talmud, the Jewish Law that often teach for doctrine the commandments of men, and disregard the Commandments of GOD.  Thus the people of the earth bring on GOD’s anger and wrath resulting in sickness, war, terrorism, murder, floods, hurricanes, etc., etc., etc.

satan’s most dominant message is disobedience to GOD.  he started his lie in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve, telling them, You will not die if you disobey GOD.  Today, his ludicrous doctrine is, Christ’s death on the cross abolished The Law of Moses.  Genesis 3.4

The Kings of the earth set themselves, and the Rulers take counsel together against The LORD, and against His Anointed saying, let us break their bands, and free ourselves from GOD and His Laws.

GOD destroyed the entire world by a flood during the days of Noah.  He saved just eight people alive, Noah and his family because Noah was a just man.  He walked with GOD.  He obeyed the Commandments and Laws of GOD.  The rest of the population did not.  Thus the great anger and wrath of GOD.  Genesis 6.1-9.

And GOD will destroy the world in the future for the very same reason, breaking GOD’s Laws, changing His Laws, and breaking His Word.  Isaiah 24.

The Jewish people are not the only people who disobey GOD.  There were no Jewish people in the days of Adam and Eve.  Nor were there Jewish people in the days of the flood.  GOD created Judaism from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob some 2,000 years after the Creation, and about 500 years after the flood.

Yeshua The Messiah says, Much is required from those to whom much is given.  And from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.  LUKE 12.48

Jewish people have a greater accountability to GOD because we have been given much by GOD.  GOD chose
us to be His witnesses to the world, His servants to reveal that there is only one GOD, and none beside Him.  He gave us His Word, His Commandments, and His Laws that are written in The Law of Moses to tell the world how to live GODLY lives.  All written by Jewish people in The Bible from Genesis through Revelation.  ISAIAH 43.10

And GOD gave us His Messiah Yeshua Who is our atonement.  Not only for us, but for all the world.

GOD has given us a great responsibility To Him.  But that does not exclude non-Jewish people from their responsibility to GOD.  And that is obeying every Word GOD speaks.  Every human being is accountable to GOD to obey His every Word, His Commandments, and His laws that are written in The Law of Moses, to do them, and live by them for their good.  DEUTERONOMY 8.3, Matthew 4.4.

But we Jewish people have angered GOD mightily down through the ages with our disobedience to Him.  And much can be learned from our mistakes.  Perhaps not starting with the graven idol, the golden calf, but that’s a good place to start.  And this message does not contain all our failures.  That would take a very long time.  EXODUS 32.8-10

We complained a little too much, and that angered GOD.  NUMBERS 11.1

And the Children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron because of an evil report from ten of the twelve spies sent to spy out the Land.  And that angered GOD.  NUMBERS 14.1-5, 11-12

And the people angered GOD again when certain of the elders sought to replace Moses and Aaron.
NUMBERS 16.1-4, 31-33

And again GOD’s anger was kindled against the people because of a squabble about land.
NUMBERS 32.10-13

And more.  DEUTERONOMY 32.15, ETC., JOSHUA 23.16, JUDGES 2.11-15, JUDGES 3.7-11

This may not be GOD’s anger, but it is His written Word.  GOD will not hear the prayers of those who disobey His Torah, His Law of Moses because they are in sin.
ISAIAH 59.2, 1 JOHN 3.4

And we as a people, the Jewish people, not all but most Jewish people have angered GOD by rejecting His Messiah Yeshua Who Himself is Elohim, GOD Almighty, Hashem.
PSALM 118.22-23, MATTHEW 21.33-46

(Matthew 21.43)  The nation or people bringing forth the fruits of The Kingdom of GOD are GODLY Jewish people, and non-Jewish people who join them, who serve The LORD GOD and His Messiah Yeshua according to the Written Word of GOD, living by Every Word that proceeds out of the Mouth of The LORD.  Deuteronomy 8.3, Matthew 4.4, Luke 4.4.

ROMANS 1.18  Ungodliness and unrighteousness is disobedience to GOD, to His Word, His Commandments and His Law of Moses.  And holding the Truth in unrighteousness is living an ungodly, lawless life of disobedience to GOD’S Laws.  And that will certainly bring on the wrath of GOD.  And that is New Testament teaching throughout the New Testament.

GOD’s great quality, as we all know, is His love for us.  GOD Almighty, Hashem, The GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob made Himself a Man in the Person of Yeshua The Messiah, and took a beating as The Bible says in Isaiah 52.14, “He was so disfigured that He didn’t even seem human, and simply no longer looked like a man”, willingly gave His Life to be our Atonement to forgive us all our sins.

But there is a condition for GOD’s Atonement.  There is a condition for GOD to forgive us all our sins, never to be mentioned to us.  And there is a condition for GOD to cease from His anger.  And that condition, that requirement that the Kings of the earth, and the Rulers, and most Teachers and Preachers of The Bible will not tell you, perhaps because they themselves don’t know or do not care to know, is this.

We must turn from all our sins that we have committed.  Sin is breaking The Law of Moses.  1 John 3.4.  Then we must live our life by GOD’S rules, all His Laws that are written in The Law of Moses.  That is Biblical repentance.  That is the repentance GOD Almighty requires along with our faith in Messiah Yeshua, and that is Torah.  Ezekiel 18.20-22.

And rather than GOD being angry with you or me, He will delight in us.

IS THE TRINITY BIBLICAL? NO, IT IS NOT.

Shalom.  Our teaching this morning will be from Exodus 33.1-2.

                            READ EXODUS 33.1-2

Moses had just destroyed the idol, the golden calf that the Children of Israel made while he was in the mountain with GOD for 40 days, and 40 nights.  And Moses returned to The LORD in Mt. Sinai hoping to make an atonement for their great sin.  And he said to The LORD, Yet now, if You will forgive their sin – and if not, blot me, I pray out of Your Book which You have written.  That book is the Book of Life.

And The LORD said to Moses, Whosoever has sinned against Me, him will I blot out of My Book.  Therefore now go.  Lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you.  Behold My Angel shall go before you.  Nevertheless in the day that I visit, I will visit their sin upon them.  And The LORD plagued the people because they made the calf which Aaron made.

EXODUS 33.1  The word give appears over 1,000 times in The Bible.  And in nearly 150 passages, the word is written emphatically stating that GOD has given the land of Israel to the Jewish people for an everlasting possession.  The LORD said to Moses, depart, and go up from here, you and the people which you have brought up out of the land of Egypt, to the land which I swore unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, unto your seed will I give it.

The Hebrew word for seed is ZEH’RAH meaning descendants.  All the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who are the Jewish people.  Unto your descendants, The LORD said, will I Give the land of Israel.

GOD’s promise to give the land of Canaan to the Jewish people was made to Abraham 4,000 years ago.  3,400 years ago, after the Exodus out of Egypt, the Children of Israel conquered the land of Canaan, and renamed it Israel after the name GOD gave to Jacob.  Genesis 32.28.  The Bible says, For GOD has made His Word even greater than His Name.  Psalm 138.2.

Let’s look at the history of GOD’s grace, giving the land of Israel to the Jewish people for an everlasting possession, and what lies ahead.

GENESIS 12.1-7, GENESIS 26.1-3, GENESIS 28.10-13

Haran was a city in Syria north of the Euphrates River.

DEUTERONOMY 9.1-5, JOSHUA 1.1-11, EZEKIEL 20.6

But in time, the Jewish people committed so many trespasses by following the abominable practices of the nations.  And they polluted the House of The LORD which GOD had consecrated and made Holy in Jerusalem.  And GOD exiled the Jewish people out of Northern Israel to Assyria in 722 B.C.E., and in 586 B.C.E., the LORD, The GOD of Israel sent the Jewish people of Judah, Jerusalem, and southern Israel into exile to Babylon today’s Iraq, because of their transgressions against The LORD their GOD.

The Children of Israel conquered the Land in 1310 B.C.E., and GOD renamed it The Land of Israel.

But The LORD GOD, just as He promised, brought His people back to their Land, the Land of Israel in 516 B.C.E.  JEREMIAH 29.1-14

And many of the Jewish people returned to Israel.
EZRA 1.1-11, EZRA 2.64-70

And again, in 70 C.E., GOD sent the Jewish people throughout Israel into exile across the world by the hand of the Romans because of their transgressions against The LORD their GOD.  And also, I believe, because of their transgression of rejecting their Messiah Yeshua, Who is The GOD of Israel prophesied in The Holy Scriptures over 350 times.  SEE MATTHEW 21.33-42, PSALM 118.22-29

Included in those prophesies; He is despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief.  And we hid as it were our faces from Him.  He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.

And GOD shall make His Soul an offering for sin.

As a people, we have rejected our promised Messiah Who is Elohim, The GOD of Creation.  He is our atonement for our sins.  Isaiah 53, etc.

But again, The LORD GOD of Israel promised to bring His people back to the Land of Israel a second time.  And He fulfilled His Word 1,875 years later after World War 2 in 1945.  The people returned from the death camps in Europe, and continue to return to this day from all over the world.  ISAIAH 11.11-12

Assyria is today’s Syria and Iraq.
Pathros is upper Egypt.
Cush is Ethiopia.
Elam is Iran.
Shinar is Babylon, today’s Iraq.
Hamath is a city in Syria.
The islands of the sea are Europe and other countries.

So, what lies ahead for Israel?

At the return of the Messiah Yeshua, as described in Zechariah 14, GOD will resurrect the Jewish people.  He will open their graves, and cause them to come out of their graves, and bring them into the land of Israel.  The time will be in the future when The LORD returns and sets up His Messianic Kingdom, the 1,000 year Millennium in Israel.  EZEKIEL 37.9-14, EZEKEL 39.25-29

And of course, all people who are True Biblical Believers in The Messiah Yeshua will GOD resurrect and bring them into the Land of Israel along with the Jewish People for the 1,000 year Millennium.

I see the True Biblical Believer as one who follows the teachings of the Lord God in the Bible, and does not follow the teachings of man from religious doctrine.  LUKE 1.5-6, LUKE 2.39, LUKE 4.4, LUKE 5.1, LUKE 8.21, ISAIAH 53, GENESIS 3,1-4, etc.

During the exiles, the Jewish people always had a presence in their country Eretz Y’Israel, the Land of Israel.  Even during those 1,875 years in which the Romans renamed Israel, Palestine in 135 A.D.

And all Jewish and non-Jewish people who are alive at Messiah’s return, who are saved and redeemed in Messiah Yeshua, and those Gentiles who have blessed the Jewish people, GOD will raise us up alive.  We will be changed, and raised incorruptible.  And we will be like Mesisah, for we will see Him as He is.  And we will meet The LORD in the air.  And He will bring us into the Promised Land, the Land of Israel, The Kingdom of GOD.  And the Land will be pure.  And The LORD, Messiah Yeshua will be King over all the earth.  So shall we ever be with The LORD our GOD.
ZECHARIAH 14, 1 CORINTHIANS 15.50-58, 1 JOHN 3.2, GENESIS 12.3, MATTHEW 25.31-46

(1 Corinthians 15.55 & 56)  O death, where is your sting?  There will be no more death.  The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is The Law.  Death comes because of sin.  And The Law teaches what sin is.  Sin is breaking The Law of Moses.  1 John 3.4.

Question?
At that time, will we all be the whole house of Israel, as the mixed multitude of Egypt that went up with the children of Israel to the Land of Israel?  Perhaps.
EXODUS 12.38, ROMANS 11.26

Again, what lies ahead for Israel?  After the 1,000 year Millennium, the world will vanish and disappear.  The Land of Israel with it.  And we will live in a new place, the new Earth which is Heaven called the Holy City, New Jerusalem that will come down from GOD out of Heaven.  There we will live in the magnificent Holy City, New Jerusalem with The LORD our GOD, The GOD of Israel, The Messiah Yeshua forever and ever.
REVELATION 20.7,11, ETC., REVELATION 21.1-27; 22.1-5

The Bible tells us that the Jewish people will never cease to exist.  We will live forever with The GOD of Creation and His Angels in Heaven in the perfectly beautiful New Jerusalem.  Not al
l, but many.  And all non-Jewish people who are righteous, who have been Law-abiding in GOD’s Law of Moses together with their faith in Messiah Yeshua will join us.
JEREMIAH 31.35-37, JOHN 11.25-26, HEBREWS 12.22-23

Israel is the Jewish Homeland, and always will be.  And no matter how hard certain people try to remove us from our Land, that will never happen.  Why?  Because GOD has made an everlasting Covenant with the Jewish people giving the Land of Israel to us for an everlasting possession.  And to every nation, GOD has given them their own Land also.  GENESIS 17.8, DEUTERONOMY 32.8

GOD said to Moses in Exodus 33.1, Depart and GO UP from here, you and the people which you have brought UP out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I swore unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto your seed will I give it.

Israel is the Holiest place on earth because it belongs to GOD.  And Israel had and will have the House of The LORD in Jerusalem for GOD to dwell among His people.  Thus, whenever anyone goes to Israel or Jerusalem, we always Go Up, Up to Jerusalem, or Up to Israel.  No matter where on earth we might be when going to Israel, we always go Up.
EXODUS 25.8, LEVITICUS 25.23, EXODUS 33.1, DEUTERONOMY 1.22, 2 CHRONICLES 36.23, ISAIAH 2.2-4, MATTHEW 20.17-19, JOHN 2.13, GALATIANS 1.15-18

(Leviticus 25.23)  Strangers in Hebrew is GAY’REEM meaning foreigners.  And sojourners in Hebrew is TOSH’VEEM meaning temporary residents.  The Jewish people are foreigners and temporary residents in Israel with GOD because Heaven is our permanent Home.

EXODUS 33.2  The Canaanites, the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites were the peoples that inhabited the land of Canaan before GOD sent the children of Israel to conquer it, and take possession of it, and call it the Land of Israel.

GOD sent an Angel before the children of Israel.  Angel in Hebrew is MAHL’AKH.  And the Angel that GOD sent before the children of Israel was GOD Himself.

Not only is it important, but to have a better understanding of GOD, one must understand the meaning of His Name, one of many, Elohim.  Elohim in Hebrew is a plural word for GOD meaning GODS,
G-O-D-S.   But there is only ONE GOD.  That is spelled out throughout The Bible.  Deuteronomy 6.4, etc.  However, when speaking of The GOD of Creation, or writing about Him, Elohim in English is always GOD.  GOD singular, ONE GOD.

As human beings, we have difficulty understanding the ways of GOD.  That the ONE GOD is Elohim, GODS.  GODS because GOD can be in many places bodily at the same time.  We, of course, can’t.  GOD appears as Jehovah, or Yehovah in Hebrew.  He appears as The LORD, The Father, GOD The Son, GOD The Messiah Yeshua.  Plus the ONE GOD is The Spirit, He is GOD The Holy Spirit, and other appearances.  His Glory, His Presence, His Shikynah, The Angel of GOD, and however else the ONE GOD is pleased to appear.  He is Elohim, G-O-D-S.  And GOD is The Angel that went before the people in the wilderness.

That is why Yeshua Who is Elohim, GOD, said, I and My Father are ONE.  He DID NOT say, I and My Father are two. Yeshua and The Father are ONE and the SAME, Elohim.  The Jewish people knew well what Messiah was saying to them when He said, Before Abraham was, I AM.  Because they took up stones to stone Him.
JOHN 14.9, JOHN 12.45, JOHN 10.30.

Yeshua being GOD, and The Everlasting Father, and The Son, and The Messiah is not a mystery.  It is spelled out in The Bible.  He is Elohim.  Prophesied in The Holy Scriptures in Isaiah 9.5, and in the Christian Bible in Isaiah 9.6, and in Micah 5.1, and in the Christian Bible in Micah 5.2, and throughout.

When you understand that The ONE GOD of Creation is Elohim, The Father, The Messiah, The Spirit, The Holy Spirit, etc., and you understand what GOD means when He says in His Ten Commandments, You shall have no other gods before Me, Exodus 20.3, you will have a greater understanding of GOD.  And you will reject the doctrine of the trinity of three different and separate gods.  The doctrine of the trinity is not Biblical.   But what is Biblical are the words spoken by Moses.  The LORD, He is GOD (Elohim).  There is none else beside Him.  Deuteronomy 4.35.

GOD’S EXTRAORDINARY FORGIVENESS

Shalom.  Our teaching this morning will be from Exodus 32.30-35.

                            READ EXODUS 32.30-35

EXODUS 32.30  According to the written Word of GOD in The Bible, sin is breaking GOD’s Laws that are written in The Law of Moses.  1 JOHN 3.4

And UNLESS our sins are atoned for, that is forgiven by The LORD GOD through the death and shed blood of GOD’s atoning Sacrifice, The Messiah Yeshua, sin leads to death, and sin blots the sinner out of GOD’s Book of Life.

Thus, along with our faith in Messiah Yeshua, GOD commands us to repent, and turn from all our sins that we have committed, and lead our lives according to GOD’s Law of Moses, doing that which is lawful and right.  And GOD says, we shall surely live and not die.  Every transgression we have committed, GOD says, they shall not be mentioned to us by The LORD GOD in our righteousness.  And you will be GOD’s people, and He will be your GOD.  And we must be immersed, that is baptized in The Name of Yeshua The Messiah, and you will receive the gift of The Holy Spirit.  LEVITICUS 17.11, ISAIAH 53.10, EZEKIEL 11.19-20, EZEKIEL 18.20-22, JOHN 1.32-33, ACTS 2.38

Our message this morning is about GOD’s Extraordinary Forgiveness.  His Extraordinary Forgiveness of our sins that leads to eternal life, and our name remains written in GOD’s Book of Life.

King David tells us that GOD’s laws are written in The Law of Moses, and by doing them, we will prosper in all that we do.  1 KINGS 2.1-3

Keeping the charge of The LORD our GOD is obeying the laws of GOD, and following His ways, all written in The Law of Moses.  And keeping GOD’s testimonies is obeying every Word GOD speaks.  GOD’s judgments are decisions we make according to His Torah, The Law of Moses.

Yeshua teaches us to be perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect, living by every Word of GOD.  And that’s what we should strive for in our life, living by every Word of GOD.
MATTHEW 5.48, LUKE 4.4

So the following day after Moses came down from the mountain, being with GOD 40 days and 40 nights, and carrying the two tables of stone, having the Ten Commandments written on them by the Finger of GOD, and seeing the great sin of the people, seeing their idol, the golden calf that they made, and their immoral partying, and their total disrespect for The LORD their GOD, Moses’ anger blazed hot against his people.  And he threw the two tables of stone with the Ten Commandments written on them, and broke them beneath the mountain.  And he took the calf that they made, and burned it in the fire, and ground it into powder, and tossed it on the water, and he made the children of Israel drink of it.

And Moses said, whoever is for The LORD, come here to me.  And all the Levites gathered themselves to Moses.  And he said to them, thus says The LORD, The GOD of Israel, each of you, put your sword on your thigh.  Go back and forth from gate to gate throughout the camp, and kill brother, neighbor and relative.  And the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses and killed about 3,000 men that day.

Days earlier, just before GOD called Moses to come up to Him into the mountain, GOD came down from Heaven.  He descended upon Mt. Sinai in fire, and GOD gave the children of Israel the Ten Commandments.

And GOD said, I AM The LORD your GOD Who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.  You shall have no other gods besides Me.

You shall not make unto yourself any graven image or any likeness of anything that is Heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.  You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them.  For I The LORD your GOD am a jealous GOD, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me.

People do not go around saying I hate God.  They express their hate by living an ungodly life not knowing Him and not obeying Him.

The children of Israel disobeyed GOD.  They made the golden calf, a graven image, and said, this is your god O Israel that brought you out of the land of Egypt.  And they sacrificed to the idol with burnt offerings and peace offerings.  And they sat down to eat and drink, and play, committing immoral acts.  Doing what GOD commanded them not to do.

The following day, Moses said to the people, You have sinned a great sin.  And now I will go up to The LORD.  Perhaps I will make an atonement for your sin.

The word atonement in Hebrew is KAH’FAHR meaning forgiveness and reconciliation.

Perhaps, Moses said, I shall make an atonement for your sin.  Perhaps I can move GOD to forgive you your sin, and make reconciliation with you and your GOD.

EXODUS 32.31  The great sin, of course, was disobeying GOD.  Disobeying GOD by making the idol, the golden calf that GOD commanded them not to do.  GOD had said to them, You shall have no other gods besides Me.  You shall not make for yourself any graven image.

Most people don’t know what sin is.  Sin is transgressing GOD’s Law of Moses.  John teaches in The New Testament that sin is the transgression of The Law of Moses.  1 JOHN 3.4.

Yeshua The Messiah is Elohim.  He is GOD, The Lawgiver Who gave Moses all the Laws of GOD when He spoke to Moses from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which were upon the ark of the covenant inside the holy of holies in the Tabernacle in the wilderness.  EXODUS 25.20-22

And Messiah teaches us in The New Testament that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word of GOD.  Every Word GOD speaks is His Commandment.  And every Word GOD speaks is His Law.  And GOD speaks often in The Old Testament as well as in The New Testament.  We should live by every Word GOD speaks, and The Law of Moses is His Word.  Matthew 4.4, Deuteronomy 8.3.

I have to believe that every God-fearing person who believes in Messiah Yeshua Who is GOD, Elohim, feels special and privileged to live their lives according to GOD’s Laws that are written in The Law of Moses.  And they are not swayed by the hocus-pocus doctrine that Christ’s death on the cross abolished The Law of Moses.

Yeshua said, My mother and My brethren are these which hear The Word of GOD and do it.  Yeshua  teaches us in The New Testament that the only way anyone can have a relationship with Him is to hear The Word of GOD, and do it.  The Word hear in Hebrew is Shema that means, hear and obey.  Yeshua says quite clearly those who hear GOD’s Word and obey it have a relationship with Him.  Those who do not obey GOD’s Word, do not have a relationship with Messiah.  And Messiah Yeshua is GOD Almighty.  LUKE 8.21, 1 JOHN 5.3, ISAIAH 9.6(5)

EXODUS 32.31-32  So Moses returned to The LORD in Mt. Sinai, and said, And now, if you will forgive their sin-and if not, blot me, I pray out of Your Book that you have written.  This particular Book that GOD has written is The Book of Life.

Moses was in fact saying to GOD, Take my life if you will not forgive Israel.  If you will not forgive Israel, you should take my life in Israel’s place.

Moses was ready to die and be blotted out of GOD’s Book of Life in return for GOD forgiving Israel.  Moses was prepared to accept eternal death in return for Israel receiving eternal life.  Moses was willing to be an atonement for Israel.

Yeshua, The Jewish Messiah, gave His Life willingly some 1,400 years later for the atonement of the Jewish people and all the world.  For thos
e who receive Messiah and are willing to live their life by GOD’s Laws written in The Law of Moses.

Moses was a great man.  Perhaps the greatest man in history.  GOD knew well whom He had chosen.  Yeshua The Messiah is Elohim.  He is GOD.

The Book of Life, or the Book of The Living in the Hebrew is SAY’FEHR KHAH’YEEM.  And in The Book of Life, GOD has written in it all the names of the living.  Those who will spend eternity in Heaven with Elohim, Yeshua The Messiah forever.

The Book Of Life was written by GOD from the foundation of the world.  That is from eternity.  He wrote The Book Of Life before the world was created.

And to remain written in GOD’s Book of Life, one must be righteous.  That is law-abiding, obeying GOD’s Laws that are written in The Law of Moses.  Thus being righteous, right with GOD.  And that includes faith in Messiah Yeshua.  PSALM 69.28 (Hebrew Bible Psalm 69.29), DANIEL 12.1-3, REVELATION 17.8, REVELATION 20.12, 15

(Revelation 20.12)  The dead were judged according to their works.  What are those works?  Those works are, did they obey GOD?  Specifically did they obey His Law of Moses?  And did they believe in Messiah Yeshua?  If the answer is yes, they remain written in GOD’s Book of Life.  If they did not obey GOD and His Law of Moses, and/or did not have faith in Messiah Yeshua, their names were blotted out of GOD’s Book of Life.

However, if they blessed the Jewish people, their names remain written in The Book of Life.
GENESIS 12.3, MATTHEW 25.31-46, JAMES 1.25

(James 1.25)  The word deed in Greek, as in this man shall be blessed in his deed, is poy-ay-sis meaning performance of The Law of Moses.  This person shall be blessed because of his or her performance of The Law of Moses.  New Testament teaching.

EXODUS 32.31-33 VERSE 33  Everyone has sinned against GOD.  Paul writes, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD.  Solomon writes, For there is not a just man upon earth that does good, and does not sin.  John writes, If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  ROMANS 3.23, ECCLESIASTES 7.20, 1 JOHN 1.8, PSALM 14.2-3,
PSALM 130.3-4, PROVERBS 20.9

Whosoever has sinned against me, GOD said, him will I blot out of My Book.  Here is GOD’s mercy, His extraordinary love and forgiveness.  For GOD has always provided forgiveness of sins for His Creation.  First by the sacrifice and shed blood of a clean animal for atonement.  Leviticus 11, Deuteronomy 14.  And later, because GOD made it impossible to offer animal sacrifices without a Temple in Jerusalem, GOD Himself, as a human being in the Person of Messiah Yeshua willingly offered Himself to be our Atonement for our sins by shedding His Blood, and giving His Life on a Roman stake.  It was for that very reason that Messiah came the first time.  To be our Atonement to forgive us our sins.  That is GOD’s extraordinary love and forgiveness for you and me.  His Atonement.
JOHN 12.27, LEVITICUS 17.8, 9, 11, ISAIAH 52.13-15, ISAIAH 53, GENESIS 4.1-7

However, It is written that GOD’s Word never changes.  That means GOD’s Law of Moses never changes, and never ends.  But unfortunately that is not taught in many places.

Here’s what never changes.  GOD’S provided atonement is for the forgiveness of sins.  In the past by the sacrifice and shed blood of clean animals, and in the present by the death and shed blood of Messiah Yeshua.  And this also never changes.  GOD always requires His Creation to obey Him.  That never changes.  From the days of Adam and Eve to the present day, and forever.  And obeying GOD today is obeying His Law of Moses.  That will never change.
JEREMIAH 31.31-34, HEBREW 8.8-12, HEBREWS 10.16-17

But unfortunately, in most places, we are Not told what to obey.  Too often we are told NOT to obey The Law of Moses, and that is profanity. Sounds quite like satan teaching Eve in the Garden of Eden.  GENESIS 2 and 3.

But GOD tells us what to obey.  His Word, His Commandments, and His Law of Moses.  That is valid in The Old Testament, and valid in The New Testament, and valid today for everyone forever.
ISAIAH 40.8, MALACHI 3.6, DEUTERONOMY 10.12-13, 1 PETER 1.23-25

(1 Peter 1.23)  Being born again means living a new life with a new heart, and a new Spirit which is The Holy Spirit.  Believing in Messiah Yeshua, and living a new life by obeying GOD, His Laws written in The Law of Moses.

Here’s a note of life saving importance to those who have been taught that the New Testament replaces the Old Testament and the Law of Moses.  That teaching is deceitful and wrong.  The New Testament DOES NOT replace the Old Testament, nor does The New Testament replace the Law of Moses.  Yeshua the Messiah is the New Testament or the New Covenant.  And He is our atonement for our sins.  It is the new atonement of Messiah Yeshua that replaces the old atonement of animal sacrifices. Period.  See Leviticus 17.8-9 and Jeremiah 31.31-34.

So yes, GOD’s mercy endures forever, and His extraordinary forgiveness has been from The Creation, and remains with us forever.

EXODUS 32.33-35  So GOD said to Moses, Go, lead this people to the place of which I have spoken.  That place is the land of Canaan that GOD renamed Israel.  My Angel shall go before you, The LORD said.  That Angel was GOD, Elohim Who led the people.

And GOD forgave the people their great sin, but not all.  For GOD will be gracious to whom He will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom He will show mercy.  EXODUS 33.19

WHO WILL INTERCEDE FOR SODOM AND GOMORRAH?

                            EXODUS 32.1-10

Shalom.  Our teaching this morning will be from Exodus 32.1-10 and beyond.

                            READ EXODUS 32.1-10

So the people lost patience with Moses.  He was in the mountain with The LORD for 40 days and 40 nights.  What has become of Moses, the people asked?  And often when we lose patience, we do stupid things, and disobey GOD, His Laws, and His Commandments.  The children of Israel demonstrated that by making an idol, the famous golden calf, and said, “This is your god O Israel which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.”.  And the end result for no patience is repeatedly trouble because as often as not when we lose patience, we disobey GOD, and that usually brings on punishment.  Something we don’t want.  We don’t want to disobey GOD, and we certainly don’t want the trouble that follows.

EXODUS 32.1-5
VERSE 5  So the people made an idol, the golden calf, and they built an altar for sacrifice before the idol.  And Aaron announced, tomorrow is a feast to the lord.  The word feast in Hebrew is KHAG meaning a festival with a sacrifice.  They sacrificed animals to the idol.

EXODUS 32.6  So when the people offered sacrifices to the idol, The Bible says, they sat down to eat, and drink, and rose up to play.

The Hebrew word for play is STAH’KHAK meaning to laugh, and play, and sport.  And perhaps this feast of theirs to the idol became a wild, out of control orgy.

I say that because this Hebrew word for play, STAH’KHAK is also used in GENESIS 26.6-8.

Sporting in Hebrew is also STAH’KHAK, and it means that Isaac and his wife Rebekah were sporting, they were messing around.  And that was fine.  They’re married.  The children of Israel were sporting, and that was immoral, and The LORD was furious.

EXODUS 32.7  Your people have corrupted themselves.

The word corrupted in Hebrew is SHE’KHAYT and it has a lot of meanings, and all can apply to the people corrupting themselves.  The word corrupted means, they were DECAYED, PUTRID, DISHONEST, DISLOYAL, they DESTROYED themselves to RUIN, and the list goes on.

The children of Israel are GOD’s people whom GOD has chosen to be a holy people to Himself.  Whom GOD chose to be a special people to Himself above all people that are upon the face of the earth.  GOD chose the Jewish people to be His witnesses to the world, to know GOD, and believe GOD, and to understand that He is The One and only GOD, our Savior, our Redeemer, and The Messiah Yeshua, Isaiah 9.6(5), Micah 5.2(1).  And GOD has made a great nation of the children of Israel, whom GOD has blessed, and made our name great.  And GOD blesses those who bless the Jewish people, and He curses those who curse the Jewish people.  And in the Jewish people, GOD blesses all the families of the earth.

And also of great importance is that the Jewish people are witnesses to ourselves and the world that GOD is a GOD of extraordinary forgiveness, and a GOD of love, mercy, and compassion.

Paul writes, has GOD cast away His people whom He foreknew, whom He knew and chose before the Creation of the world?  GOD forbid, Paul says.  ROMANS 11.1-2A, Genesis 12.2-3, Deuteronomy 7.6, Isaiah 43.10-15, Micah 5.2(1).

Let’s look at EXODUS 32.7 again.

The LORD said to Moses, Get yourself down, for YOUR people which YOU brought out of the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves.

Normally, GOD refers to the children of Israel, the Jewish people as MY people.  Now they are Moses’ people.  EXODUS 3.7, 10, EXODUS 5.1, EXODUS 29.45-46

There is an interesting Jewish commentary on GOD saying to Moses, these are YOUR people which YOU brought out of the land of Egypt and have corrupted themselves.

Why are they now Moses’ people?  Because GOD is insulted and disrespected by His people.  The commentary goes on to say that GOD is even alienated from His people.  Much as an exasperated parent who is infuriated with their misbehaving child being the other spouses’ child.  YOUR child just made a dumb idol and doing all kinds of terrible things.  He is YOUR child.

For 40 days and 40 nights, Moses was having a nice conversation with GOD in the mountain, sitting Face to face with The LORD enjoying the time together.  And at the end of the 40 days, and 40 nights, GOD gave Moses the two tables of stone with the Ten Commandments written on them by The Finger of GOD.  But then, suddenly, GOD said to Moses, Get yourself down and go, for YOUR people whom YOU have brought out from the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves.

EXODUS 32.7-9  Stiffnecked is stubborn and obstinate, one not easily treated or controlled.

EXODUS 32.10  GOD was so angry with His people that He wanted to consume them, destroy them, and put an end to the people, and make of Moses a great nation.

GOD said to Moses, “Let Me alone that My wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them, and I will make of you a great nation.”

The Hebrew translation to English reads, Let Me alone that My fierce anger may blaze up against them, and that I may consume them, and I will make of you a great nation.

The anger of GOD was so fierce and hot against His people that He wanted to kill them, and make of Moses a great nation.

But GOD knew that was impossible.  He could not do that because GOD never changes.  He can not change.  GOD is not a man who changes His Mind.  Because GOD’s promise is to Abraham to make of him a great nation, not Moses.  And The Messiah must come from the tribe of Judah, and not another.
GENESIS 12.1-2, 7, GENESIS 13.15-16, GENESIS 17.7-8,
NUMBERS 23.19, MALACHI 3.6, MICAH 5.2,  In the Hebrew Bible, Micah 5.1

MICAH 5.2(1)  Messiah will come from the tribe of Judah, from Bethlehem Ephratah, GENESIS 48.7

Whose goings forth is Messiah’s Origin.  Origin in Hebrew is OO’MOE’STAH’O’TAHYVE

Messiah’s origin is From Of Old.  From Of Old in Hebrew is ME’KEH’DEHM – meaning, Messiah’s origin is from Eternity, having no beginning or end.  Messiah Yeshua is GOD.

Messiah’s origin is From Everlasting.  From Everlasting in Hebrew is MEE’MAY OLAM- meaning from Eternity and Forever.  Again, Messiah Yeshua is ELOHIM.

Messiah must come from the tribe of Judah as a man.  But Messiah Yeshua is also GOD Almighty.
MATTHEW 1.1-2, HEBREWS 7.14, REVELATION 5.5

EXODUS 32.11-14  The prophets, and Moses was one of the great prophets, frequently interceded and pleaded for others.  Moses interceded for the children of Israel, and GOD changed His Mind that He thought against His people.

Abraham was a great prophet, and he interceded for Sodom and Gomorrah, and pleaded to GOD for them.
GENESIS 18.1-5, 16-33, GENESIS 19.1-5

(Genesis 19.5)  Where are the men that came into your house tonight?  Bring them out to us that we may know them.  That is to have homosexual relations with them.

GENESIS 19.10-15, 24-25  GOD still destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah even with Abraham’s intercession and pleading, But GOD saved his nephew Lot, a righteous man, and his family.  2 PETER 2.6-8

But who will intercede, and plead for the United States, and the world as it becomes more and more like Sodom and Gomorrah?

EXODUS 32.15-24  VERSE 18  The Hebrew word
for sing is AH’NOTE meaning defilement.  Moses said, it is the noise of defilement.

When Moses smashed the tables of stone with the Word of GOD written on them in the sight of the people, and burned the idol in the fire, and ground it into powder, and tossed it on the water, and made them drink it, the people knew, I believe, that they were not worthy of receiving GOD’s Word.  And it’s possible this entire spectacle shocked them into recognizing the enormity of their sin, if they lived.

EXODUS 32.25-29  Paul teaches that the wages of sin is death.  ROMANS 6.23

Since sin is breaking The Law of Moses, 1 John 3.4, Paul is in fact teaching us that breaking The Law of Moses leads to death.  That’s why here at Beth Elohenu, we teach obedience to GOD.  Obedience to His Commandments, and His Laws that are written in the Law of Moses. That leads to eternal life, as The Law of Moses teaches of The Messiah Yeshua.

In the days before Yeshua The Messiah, the people required an animal sacrifice and its shed blood for the atonement of their sins.  And GOD also required them to live their lives in obedience to GOD according to His Word, His Commandments, and His Laws, all written in The Law of Moses.  That never changes.  And that person is perfect in the sight of GOD, and GOD gives that person the gift of eternal life.

Today, our atonement for our sins is by the death and shed blood of our Messiah Yeshua.  And when we receive GOD’s New Covenant, or New Testament Who is Yeshua The Messiah for the atonement of our sins, it is written that GOD puts His Law of Moses in our inward parts, that is in our hearts and minds, and writes it in our heart, to obey them.  And as GOD never changes, we too must live our lives in obedience to GOD’s Laws written in The Law of Moses.  And that is the gift of GOD,  eternal life through Yeshua The Messiah our LORD.  Amen.
