Shalom.  Our teaching this morning will continue from Torah, The Law of Moses, of which the Messiah Yeshua says, “Do not think that I came  to destroy The Law or the Prophets.  I have NOT come to destroy, but to complete.”

For verily I say unto you, til Heaven and earth pass, NOT so much as the smallest letter and a stroke will pass from The Law til all has come to an end.  MATTHEW 5.17-18

(Matthew 5.17)  I know that most Bibles say that Messiah came to fulfill The Law and the Prophets.  Thus Christian doctrine along with a number of Messianic Congregations teach that the word fulfill means that Jesus ended The Law and the Prophets.  In a word, that is a lie.  Why is it a lie?  Because it is a lie that Jesus ended The Law and the Prophets.  He did not come to destroy the Law or the Prophets.

The word fulfilled in Greek is PLEROO meaning Complete and Perfect.  Messiah Yeshua came to Complete The Law and the Prophets.  And by Completing The Law and the Prophets, He made them Perfect.

The Law not only includes the first five books of The Bible, but in a wider sense, The Law applies to The Scriptures as a whole.  That is, The Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Writings such as The Psalms and Proverbs, and The New Testament.

The TNAKH, The Old Testament Scriptures predict throughout, the   coming of The Jewish Messiah.

Messiah Yeshua’s coming as written in The New Testament fulfills those Messianic Prophesies. Thus making The Law and the Prophets Complete and Perfect.

Before The Messiah Yeshua came 2,000 years ago, The Law and the Prophets were not complete.  But at His coming, Messiah Yeshua completed The Law and the Prophets, making them perfect.

(Matthew 5.18)  A jot is a YUD in the Hebrew alphabet.  The smallest letter.  A tittle is a stroke that distinguishes one Hebrew letter from another such as in English an O and a Q.  Or an R and a P.

Messiah says, “Til Heaven and earth pass, not the smallest letter, or a stroke will pass from the Law til all is fulfilled.”

The Greek word for fulfilled in this Scripture is GINOMAI meaning ended and finished.  Heaven and earth are still here.  And the new Heaven and the new earth will remain forever.

Thus The Law remains forever, and never changes.  Revelation 21-22.

HEBREWS 8.6 comes to mind.  Let’s read it.

But now Messiah has brought a more excellent ministry by how much also He is the mediator of a better Covenant.

The better Covenant is The New Covenant for Atonement.

The New Covenant for atonement does not abolish The Old Testament Scriptures. GOD forbid.

The New Covenant of Jeremiah 31.31-34 is established on better promises than the daily animal sacrifice for atonement because in The New Covenant GOD has put His Law in your inward parts, and wrote it in your heart (TO OBEY THEM).  Then GOD will be YOUR GOD, and YOU will be His People (WHEN YOU OBEY HIS LAW ).

For GOD will forgive your iniquity and remember your sin no more.

Hebrews 8.6 continues, that The New Covenant was established on better promises.

The meaning for the word “established” is not explained in many New Testament writings.

The word “established” in Greek is NOMOTHETEO meaning GIVEN AS LAW.

Thus GOD has given the New Covenant to mankind as LAW.

That is to say, The New Covenant is fully part of The Law, the Prophets, and the Writings.

And as The Law remains forever, The New Covenant remains forever.  They never end nor do they change.

Okay.  Our teaching this morning in addition to The Law will continue from GOD’S Torah, His Law of Moses in Numbers 10.11-21.

And The Title of our message is, The Tabernacle, Judah, The Kahatis, and Asher.

And with that said, let’s read Numbers 10.11-21.

NUMBERS 10.11  On the twentieth day of the second month in the second year from the day that GOD freed the Children of Israel on the first Passover from Egyptian slavery, the Cloud was taken up from The Tabernacle of the Testimony.

The Tabernacle of the Testimony in Hebrew is MEESH’KAHN HA AYDOOT, the place where GOD communicated with Moses Face to face to give Moses The Laws of GOD called The Law of Moses.

The Tabernacle, of course, was the movable Temple in the wilderness that was built by the Children of Israel immediately after GOD freed His People from 400 years of Egyptian bondage.  And The Children Of Israel carried The Tabernacle with them on wagons, and mules for forty years with many stops on the way to the Promised Land, Israel.

The Tabernacle was made according to the pattern that GOD showed Moses in visions in Mouth Sinai.

THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY Who spoke to Moses Face to face was Yeshua The Messiah.  EXODUS 25.8-9, 21-22, EXODUS 29.44-46, EXODUS 33.9-11, ISAIAH 9.5, Christian Bible ISAIAH 9.6, MICAH 5.1, Christian Bible MICAH 5.2, JOHN 12.45, JOHN 14.9.

(Exodus 33.9)  The Cloudy Pillar that descended and stood at the door of The Tabernacle and talked with Moses was THE LORD GOD, HA SHEM YESHUA THE MESSIAH.

That was The LORD in His Divine Presence, the Shekhinah as a Cloud.  The Cloud that led the Children Of Israel by day to the Promised Land.  And the same Cloud that covered The Tabernacle by day.  And the same Divine Presence of The LORD that was upon The Tabernacle at night as it were the appearance of Fire.

The Children Of Israel brought The Tabernacle with them into the land of Canaan that GOD renamed Israel.  And there it remained permanently erected in Shiloh for approximately 407 years until the first Temple that was built by Solomon and dedicated around 964 B.C.E.

Shiloh is in the hill country of Ephraim, west of the Jordan River, and north of Jerusalem.

GOD made Samuel a Prophet in the days The Tabernacle resided in Shiloh.  The LORD also made Saul and David Kings when Shiloh was the site that housed The Tabernacle.

And  GOD continued to dwell with His people in The Tabernacle in Shiloh.  And the Ark of The Covenant remained in The Tabernacle in the Holy of Holies.

When the first Temple was dedicated, The LORD changed His dwelling place to the Solomon Temple.  And the Ark of The Covenant was also moved to the Temple.

The Tabernacle in the wilderness was the ancestor of the first and second Temples in Jerusalem.  Its designs, proportions and functions were smaller versions of the future Temples.

The future Temple in GOD’S Kingdom on earth in Israel for 1,000 years that will be  like the Garden of Eden, will be built in Jerusalem when The LORD GOD YESHUA THE MESSIAH returns.  And that magnificent Temple will have similar designs and functions as The Tabernacle in the wilderness.

And the daily animal sacrifice will be reestablished.

The animal sacrifice will be for those who do not have Atonement in The Messiah Yeshua.  JOSHUA 18.1, 1 SAMUEL 1.1-3, 20, LEVITICUS 17.8-9, EZEKIEL 44-48, ZECHARIAH 14.20-21

NUMBERS 10.12-14  The first tribe to set out on their journeys to the Promised Land was the tribe of Judah.

And the tribes went out in military formation according to their armies.  Except the tribe of Levi that had the responsibility for transporting The Tabernacle and everything in it.  And remember, there were about three million People, and their farm animals.

The LORD had made Israel a great nation in Egypt.

As you well know, King David and The Messiah Yeshua descend from the tribe of Judah.

Judah in Hebrew is YEHUDAH meaning, To Praise The LORD.

Judah is the fourth son of Jacob.

Now the name Jew comes from the name Judah.  Jew in Hebrew is YEHUDI that comes from the Hebrew Judah.  Judah comes from the Hebrew word YAHDAH meaning to hold out the hand to praise GOD.

Thus Jew means One Who Praises GOD.

NUMBERS 10.21  Kohathite in Hebrew is KAHATI.

The Kahatis are from the tribe of Levi.

The Kahatis transported the sacred objects of The Tabernacle, such as the Ark of The Covenant, and the cherubim on the mercy seat. The table for showbread, and The Tabernacle Menorah.  The two altars.  The altar for the animal sacrifices. The other to burn incense. They also transported the vessels and curtains of the Sanctuary, and the veil that separated the Holy of Holies from the Sanctuary. GENESIS 46.11

Let’s look at some of the works of the Kahatis.  NUMBERS 3.27-32, NUMBERS 4.1-15, JOSHUA 21.1-5

(Joshua 21.1-5)  The Kahatis had land allocated to them in the tribes of Judah, Simeon, Benjamin, Ephraim, Dan and the half tribe of Manasseh, throughout The Land of Israel.  Twenty-three cities.

Also 1 CHRONICLES 6.33, 38, 1 CHRONICLES 9.32, 2 CHRONICLES 20.18-19, 2 CHRONICLES 29.1-12

The Kahatis played a major role in the service of The Tabernacle and the first and second Temples.  And they will perform the same duties in the future Temple when Messiah Ha Shem Yeshua returns.

Now Asher.  NUMBERS 10.26

Asher was the eighth son of Jacob.

Asher in Hebrew is AHSHARE meaning happy, right, honest, prosper, blessed, and lead, as in leader.

Let’s look into a little history of Asher.  NUMBERS 1.40-41, NUMBERS 2.25-28, DEUTERONOMY 33.1, 24-29

JOSHUA 19.24-31  The territory of the tribe of Asher extended into present day Lebanon.  Beirut, before the many wars, was one of the most beautiful cities in the world overlooking the Mediterranean Sea from a high cliff.

The tribe of Asher joined Gideon in the fight against the Midianites and the Amalekites and others.  JUDGES 6.33-35

And the tribal appointments of the Land in the 1,000 year Kingdom of GOD on earth in Israel is preordained by The LORD GOD.  The tribe of Asher and all the tribes of Israel will be located in the same locations as appointed in the days of Joshua.  EZEKIEL 48.1-8

Judah, Asher, and the Kahatis were mighty men of GOD, and mighty men of Israel.  And their wives with them.

BLOW THE TRUMPET IN ZION, FOR THE DAY OF THE LORD IS NEAR.

Beth Elohenu Messianic Congregation

P.O. Box 335761

N. Las Vegas, NV. 89033

Shalom.  Our teaching this morning will continue from Torah, GOD’S Spoken Word in The Law of Moses.

The Law of Moses is GOD’S Covenant.  His Word that He has commanded to a thousand generations.

And GOD’S Law of Moses is an everlasting Covenant that stands forever.

GOD’S Holy Scriptures, His TNAKH that Christianity calls The Old Testament, is eternal and can never be changed or abolished.

GOD’S Covenants are forever.  No man can change them.  And no man can end them.  Though men think to change GOD’S Laws.  That is impossible.  Isaiah 40.8, 1 Peter 1.23-25, Psalm 105.8-10, Daniel 7.25

Our teaching this morning will be from Numbers 10.1-10.

And the Title of our Message is, BLOW THE TRUMPET IN ZION, FOR THE DAY OF THE LORD IS NEAR.

So with that said, let’s read Numbers 10.1-10.

The LORD spoke to Moses saying,  Make two silver trumpets for the calling of the Congregation, the whole House of Israel.  And for the journeying of the camps.

The population of the House of Israel at that time in the Sinai was about three million people.

And The LORD said to Moses, When they blow the trumpets, the whole Congregation shall assemble themselves to you at the entrance of the Tabernacle.

If they blow one trumpet, then the princes which are the heads of thousands in Israel shall gather themselves to you.

When they blow the alarm, the camps that are east of the Tabernacle shall move out and go forward.

When they blow an alarm the second time, the camps on the south side of the Tabernacle shall move out.

The alarm was blown all the time when the camps were to journey to The Promised Land.

The Glory of GOD in the cloud led them by day and the Glory of GOD in the appearance of fire was upon the Tabernacle by night.

But when the Congregation was called together, the trumpet was blown.  But the alarm was not sounded.

And GOD appointed the sons of Aaron, the Priests to blow the trumpets.  That is an ordinance forever.

And The LORD said, If you go to war in your Land against the enemy that oppresses you, then you shall blow an alarm with two trumpets and The LORD YOUR GOD will remember you.

And The LORD YOUR GOD will save you from your enemies.

And in the day of your gladness, that is your Festivals, and in your solemn days such as the Sabbath and Passover, and in your new moons, the Priests shall blow the trumpets over the sacrifices of burnt offerings which are sacrifices of sweet aroma to The LORD, and sacrifices of sin offerings.  And the Priests shall blow the trumpets over the peace offerings of praising The LORD, that GOD says, Will be to you for a memorial, that you will be remembered before your GOD.  I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD, SAITH THE LORD.

GOD’S command to the Jewish People to blow the trumpet for various reasons, and at times to blow the trumpet for an alarm, reminds me of the words of the Prophet Joel.

Blow the trumpet in Zion, which in actuality is, Blow the shofar in Zion, and sound an alarm in My Holy Mountain.  Let the inhabitants of the earth tremble.  For The Day of The LORD comes.  For it is near at hand.  JOEL 2.1-2

I believe like so many that The Day of The LORD is near at hand.

A day of darkness.  A day of trouble.  A day of wrath, and wasteness, and desolation.  A day of clouds and thick darkness.  A day of the shofar and alarm.

A time that Yeshua The Messiah says shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time.  No, nor ever shall be.  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved.  But for the elect’s sake, those days shall be shortened.

THE DAY OF THE LORD IS NEAR, AND IT WILL COME BECAUSE MANKIND HAS SINNED AGAINST THE LORD.

AND SIN IS BREAKING THE LAW OF MOSES. 1 JOHN 3.4.  AND THE WORLD DROWNS IN SIN AGAINST GOD.

An important part of The Law of Moses is that GOD has given the Land of Israel to the Jewish People for an everlasting possession.

And as the world outside of Israel rejects The Law of Moses, and add to that, that Israel is under attack daily from all the nations with anti-Semitism, Jew hatred, and threats,

The Day of The LORD is near at hand.  1 JOHN 3.4, GENESIS 17.8, MATTHEW 24.21-22

LET’S EXAMINE ZEPHANIAH 1.14-18

The great Day of The LORD is near.  It is near and comes swiftly. Even the Voice of the Day of the LORD.  The mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

That day is a day of wrath.  A day of trouble and distress.  A day of wasteness and desolation.  A day of darkness and gloominess.

A day of clouds and thick darkness.  A day of the shofar and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.

And I will bring distress upon men that they shall walk like blind men.

BECAUSE THEY HAVE SINNED AGAINST THE LORD.

And their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’S wrath.

But the whole earth shall be devoured by the fire of His jealousy.  For He shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the earth.

VERSE 17  SINNING AGAINST GOD IS BREAKING HIS LAW OF MOSES.  1 JOHN 3.4, NUMBERS 5.6

So, how bad will it get during The Day of The LORD?  Or as many call that Day, the great tribulation.  How bad will it get?  It will be bad.  It will be very bad.  ISAIAH 24.1-23

Here are some excerpts from these Scriptures.

Behold, The LORD makes the earth empty, and makes it waste.  And turns it upside down.  And scatters its inhabitants.

The earth shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled.  For the LORD has Spoken this Word.

For the earth mourns and fades away. The world is sick and fades away.  The haughty people of the earth do languish and fade away.

THE EARTH ALSO IS DEFILED UNDER THE INHABITANTS OF IT BECAUSE THEY HAVE TRANSGRESSED THE LAWS, CHANGED THE ORDINANCE, AND BROKEN THE EVERLASTING COVENANT.

THEREFORE HAS THE CURSE DEVOURED THE EARTH, AND THEY THAT DWELL ON IT ARE DESOLATE.  THEREFORE THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH ARE BURNED AND FEW MEN LEFT.

VERSE 3  The land is the earth.

VERSE 5  The world has transgressed GOD’S Laws that are written in The Law of Moses.  They have provoked GOD to anger by abolishing His Laws and making their own laws.  They have broken the Everlasting Covenant, GOD’S Spoken Word in The Bible, and His Laws that are written in The Law of Moses.  ISAIAH 13.9-11, MALACHI 4.1, REVELATION 6.12-17, REVELATION 8.7-13, REVELATION 16.17-21

So why will The Day of The LORD come?

WHY WILL GOD DESTROY THE WORLD AND FEW WILL BE LEFT?

BECAUSE MAN HAS SINNED AGAINST THE LORD.  SIN IS BREAKING THE LAW OF MOSES. 1 JOHN 3.4.

THEY CONTINUOUSLY VIOLATE HIS EVERLASTING COVENANT.  GOD’S EVERLASTING COVENANT IS HIS WORD AND HIS LAWS THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE LAW OF MOSES IN THE FIRST FIVE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE.

AND INCREDIBLY, THE GREAT RELIGIOUS CHRISTIAN ESTABLISHMENTS REFUSE TO TEACH THAT SIN IS BREAKING GOD’S LAW OF MOSES.

WHILE SOME THREATEN LOSS OF SALVATION TO THOSE WHO OBEY GOD AND HIS TORAH, THE LAW OF MOSES.                                2  CORINTHIANS 11:13-15

Thus The Day of The LORD will come.  It is near at hand.

Let’s return to ISAIAH 24.23.

Who is The LORD of Hosts Who will reign in Mouth Zion in Jerusalem?

The LORD of Hosts is The Messiah Yeshua, Ha Shem, GOD ALMIGHTY Who will reign in Mount Zion in Jerusalem over all the earth.  ZECHARIAH 14.9, ZECHARIAH 12.10, ISAIAH 7.14, ISAIAH 9.6-7, JEREMIAH 23.1-8

JEREMIAH 23.5-6  THE RIGHTEOUS BRANCH AND KING WHO WILL SAVE JUDAH AND ALL ISRAEL WHOSE NAME IS THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS HA SHEM YESHUA THE MESSIAH, THE ALMIGHTY GOD, THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL.

And The Messiah Yeshua at His return will establish His Kingdom on earth in Israel from the river of Egypt to the Euphrates River that will be like the Garden of Eden for 1,000 years.  Genesis 15.18-21

And this is what GOD’S Kingdom on earth will be like.  It will be perfection, and peace and joy, and sighing and troubles, and sickness and death will flee away.  ISAIAH 2.1-4, ISAIAH 25.8, ISAIAH 51.3, 11, ISAIAH 62.1-5, EZEKIEL 37.25-28, EZEKIEL 39.23-29, DANIEL 7.13-14, HOSEA 2.19-20, ZEPHANIAH 3.14-20, ZECHARIAH 2.10-11

THE LORD OF HOSTS WHO WILL DELIVER US IS MESSIAH YESHUA.  HE IS THE FATHER, HA SHEM GOD ALMIGHTY.  ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6, JOHN 12.45, JOHN 14.9

And after the 1,000 years of peace and joy in The Kingdom of GOD on earth, the family of GOD will move to our new and eternal home, Heaven.  And the earth will flee away.  REVELATION 20.7-15

REVELATION 20.12-13  The dead were judged according to their works.

They are dead because of their works.

Their works?  They rejected the perfect law of liberty, GOD’S Torah, The Law of Moses that is written in the first five Books of The Bible.  JAMES 1.25

BEING BLESSED IN HIS DEED IS BEING BLESSED FOR LIVING ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF MOSES, THE PERFECT LAW OF LIBERTY THAT FREES US FROM SIN AND DEATH.

And here’s a peek into Heaven.  REVELATION 21.1-5, 16-27, REVELATION 22.1-5

So yes, we will reign as kings in Heaven forever and ever.

The Day of The LORD will be a disaster for those who do not have Salvation according to The Word of GOD in The Bible, and to those who curse the Jewish People and Israel.

For Salvation comes by having Atonement through faith in The Messiah Yeshua.

And then repenting by turning from all your sins that you have committed by breaking The Law of Moses, and turning to GOD and obeying all His Laws that are written in The Law of Moses.

Then the next step is miqveh, that is being baptized in The Name of The GOD of Israel, Yeshua The Messiah for the forgiveness of your sins.

And then you will receive The Holy Spirit.  Acts 2.37-38, Acts 5.32, Ezekiel 18.20.

That is Biblical Salvation.  Eternal life in Heaven.  And as Yeshua The Messiah says, But he or she that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.  Matthew 24.13.

And also a path to Salvation is blessing the Jewish People, and Israel.

The path to hell is cursing the Jewish People and Israel.  Genesis 12.3, Matthew 25.31-46

Shalom.

THE MIGHTY POWER OF GOD.

Beth Elohenu Messianic Congregation

P.O. Box 335761

N. Las Vegas, NV. 89033

Shalom.  Our teaching will continue in GOD’S spoken word from Torah, The Law of Moses, in Numbers 9.15-23.

And the title of our message is, THE MIGHTY POWER OF GOD.

And with that said, let’s read Numbers 9.15-23.

These words in Torah explain how The LORD GOD led the Children of Israel out of Egypt to the Promised Land some 3,400 years ago to the land of Canaan that The GOD of Heaven renamed The Land Of Israel when Israel took possession of the Land.

On the day that the Tabernacle was set up, the Cloud covered the Tabernacle of the Congregation.  Also called the Tabernacle of the Testimony.  That is GOD’s Testimony.  The Place where GOD spoke to Moses Face to face in The Holy of Holies from above the Mercy Seat, from between the two cherubim that were upon the Ark of the Covenant.

There, GOD gave Moses His Laws, Rules, and Commandments that are written in The Law of Moses.  The same Laws, Rules and Commandments that the Church and so many Messianic Congregations mock GOD by teaching their followers not to obey.

Therefore Paul writes, it is no great thing if satan’s ministers also are transformed as the ministers of righteousness whose end shall be according to their works.  2 CORINTHIANS 11.14-15, DEUTERONOMY 7.9-10

Returning to the Tabernacle where GOD met with Moses and spoke His Word to him for all the world to live by.

At evening there was upon the Tabernacle the Appearance of Fire until the morning.

So it was always, until the Children of Israel came into Canaan, that the Cloud covered the Tabernacle by day, and the Appearance of Fire was upon the Tabernacle by night.

And when the Cloud was taken up from the Tabernacle, the Children of Israel, some three million people and their farm animals would set out and journey.

And the place where the Cloud settled, the Children of Israel made camp.

And at the commandment of The LORD, the Children of Israel broke camp.  And at the commandment of The LORD they made camp.  As long as the Cloud remained upon the Tabernacle, the People rested in their tents.

And when the Cloud remained upon the Tabernacle many days, the Children of Israel observed GOD’S command and did not journey.

And so it was, when the Cloud remained on the Tabernacle for a few days, the Children of Israel remained in their camp.  And at the command of The LORD they broke camp.

And when the Cloud remained from evening to morning, and the Cloud was taken up in the morning then they journeyed whether it was by day or by night the Cloud was taken up, they broke camp and journeyed.

Whether it was two days, or a month, or a year that the Cloud remained upon the Tabernacle, the Children of Israel remained in their camp and did not journey.  But when the Cloud was taken up, they journeyed.

At the command of The LORD, they remained in their camp.  And at the command of The LORD they journeyed.

They observed The LORD’S command by the hand of Moses.

By The Mighty Power Of GOD, The LORD brought His People to their Inheritance, The Land Of Israel, defeating all their enemies in battle on the way, and teaching His People His Laws, Statutes, and Judgments that are written in The Law of Moses for Israel and all Mankind to live by for their good.

So let’s look deeper into The Word of GOD and learn of The Mighty Power Of GOD that is supernatural, far beyond understanding.

When the Cloud covered the Tabernacle, and led the People by day, that was The GLORY OF GOD, GOD HIMSELF.

And the Fire by night that was upon the Tabernacle was also THE APPEARANCE OF GOD IN HIS GLORY.

THE GLORY OF GOD IS KNOWN AS THE SH’KHE’NAH, THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD.

THE MIGHTY GOD, WHO IS YESHUA THE MESSIAH, appeared to Moses in a blazing flame of Fire out of a bush.

The Fire was GOD.  And that is why the bush did not burn.

The LORD had caused Moses to go to the backside of the desert with his flock, and to the Mountain of GOD, Mt. Sinai, where Moses would meet with GOD.  And to make Moses the leader of His People to bring the Children of Israel out of Egypt to the Promised Land by The Supernatural Power Of The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.  EXODUS 3.1-10

Paul teaches that by The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, all things consist.

And by The LORD GOD all things exist.  COLOSSIANS 1.17

The word consist also means exist, stand, and hold together.

Because of GOD, all living beings, and all living things have life.  They exist.  And because of GOD, all things stand, and hold together.

The Psalm reads, The LORD MY GOD is very great.  He covers Himself with honor and majesty.  And with light as a garment.

Who stretched out the heavens like a curtain.  Who makes the clouds His chariot, and walks upon the wings of the wind, Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flaming fire.

Who laid the foundations of the earth that it should not be removed forever.  He sends springs into the valleys which run among the hills. They give drink to every animal.  He waters the hills.  The earth is satisfied with the fruit of His works.

He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and the herb for the service of man that he may bring forth food out the earth.  He appointed the moon for seasons.  The sun knows when to set.  The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from GOD.

O LORD, how manifold are Your works.  In wisdom You have made them.  All the earth is full of Your riches.

You hide Your Face, they are troubled.  You take away their breath, they die and return to the dust.  You send forth Your Spirit, they are created.  You renew the face of the earth.

The Glory of The LORD shall endure forever.  The LORD shall rejoice in His works.  He looks on the earth and it trembles.  He touches the hills and they smoke.

I will sing unto The LORD as long as I live.  I will sing praises to my GOD while I have my being.  My meditation of Him shall be sweet.  I am glad in The LORD.  Bless The LORD O my soul.  Praise ye The LORD.

Those are Scriptures from Psalm 104.

BY THE MIGHTY POWER OF GOD, GOD SPOKE THE CREATION INTO EXISTENCE.  GENESIS 1

Moses received the story of the six days of Creation from GOD when he was with The LORD forty days and forty nights in Mt.  Sinai.  Exodus 24.15-18

And GOD told Moses these words.  In the beginning, GOD created the heavens and the earth.  And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And The Spirit of GOD moved upon the face of the waters.  Genesis 1.1-2

THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS GOD, GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM YESHUA THE MESSIAH, THE ONE GOD.

And the Prophet Jeremiah teaches us that The Spirit Of GOD fills Heaven and earth.  JEREMIAH 23.24

Picture a bottle filled with water.  The water fills the entire bottle. Likewise, GOD fills everyone and everything in Heaven and earth with His spirit, The Spirit of GOD.

GOD fills Heaven and earth.

Let’s examine GENESIS 2.7.  How GOD creates human beings.

GOD FORMS EVERY HUMAN BEING AND DETERMINES WHO AND WHAT EVERY PERSON WILL BE, FOR HIS PURPOSE.

The Hebrew word for form is YAH’STEHR meaning to mold into form especially as a potter, and to determine.  And purpose.

GOD IS THE POTTER.

Thus GOD molds us into the form that we are.  He determines our path of life.  And He determines who we are.  A basketball player, a computer genius, etc.

And GOD determines whether the person will have Salvation, or not.   All for GOD’S purpose.  GOD IS THE POTTER.

And GOD breathed into man’s nostrils the Breath of Life.  And man became a living soul.

BREATH IN HEBREW IS N’SHEH’MAHT MEANING BREATH AND SPIRIT.  IN THIS SCRIPTURE, THE BREATH AND SPIRIT IS THE SPIRIT OF GOD.

BY GOD BREATHING HIS BREATH OF LIFE INTO US, OUR LIVING EXISTENCE IS BECAUSE THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS IN US THAT CAUSES US TO LIVE AND BREATHE.

The same applies for animals, and plant life, and all living things. Their living existence is because The Spirit of GOD that is in them causes them to live.

THUS GOD IS THE GOD OFF ALL SPIRITS.  HE IS THE GOD OF ALL LIFE IN EVERYBODY AND EVERYTHING.

THE MIGHTY POWER OF GOD RULES THROUGHOUT THE CREATION.  NUMBERS 16.20-22

IN GOD IS LIFE.  JOHN 1.4

BETTER SAID, GOD WHO IS YESHUA THE MESSIAH IS LIFE.  NOT WAS LIFE.

GOD IS LIFE, AND GOD GIVES LIFE.

Every living human, every living creature, and every living thing is living because GOD has breathed His Spirit into the human, or into the animal, and into, or on all plant life, etc.

GOD is in every living being, and in every living thing.  By Him all things consist.

GOD has made us.  And it is His Breath, His Spirit that has given us Life.  JOB 33.4, JOB 27.3, EZEKIEL 37.5, 9, DANIEL 5.22-23, ACTS 17.24, 25, 28

Spirit in Hebrew is RUAKH meaning Spirit, and Breath, and Life.  But Ruakh and Spirit also mean Air and Wind.  The Air and Wind that completely surround us is The Spirit of GOD.  And The Spirit of GOD is GOD.  We are surrounded always by GOD, by the Spirit of GOD. GENESIS 8.1, LUKE 8.22-25, JOHN 3.8

The Hebrew word for Wind in each Scripture is RUAKH meaning Wind, Spirit, and Life.  Thus we are completely surrounded by The Spirit of GOD always.

THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS IN EVERY LIVING PERSON.  BUT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS NOT IN EVERY LIVING PERSON.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ANOTHER FUNCTION OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD, AND IS ONLY GIVEN TO THOSE WHO HAVE FAITH IN THE MESSIAH YESHUA, AND LIVE BY TORAH, GOD’S LAW OF MOSES.  ACTS 5.32

GOD IS A SPIRIT AND HE LIVES IN US.  1 CORINTHIANS 3.16

Our understanding, our intelligence, our skill, and wisdom are from The Spirit of GOD ALMIGHTY Who dwells in us.  JOB 32.8

Inspiration in Hebrew is N’SHEH’MAHT meaning Spirit, GOD’S SPIRIT.

All the while we have breath and life, THE SPIRIT OF GOD is in us. JOB 27.3, JOB 34.14-15, JOB 12.10

IT IS GOD WHO DIRECTS OUR LIFE.  NOT US.  PROVERBS 21.1, PROVERBS 16.1, 9, PROVERBS 20.24, JEREMIAH 10.23, DANIEL 4.35

ARE YOU CONCERNED WHO WILL BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT? DON’T BE.  BECAUSE GOD WILL MAKE THAT DECISION.  THE LORD GOD WILL PUT IN THE WHITE HOUSE WHOM HE WILL, FOR HIS PURPOSE.   DANIEL 2.21, PSALM 75.7, JEREMIAH 27.5

So why all the evil in the world knowing that The Spirit of GOD lives in everyone?  Because GOD creates evil, and, I believe, The LORD uses evil for His purpose also.  ISAIAH 45.5-7

And everything that is happening today is being played out just as GOD planned before the Creation.  HEBREWS 4.3,  ACTS 15.18, ISAIAH 46.10-11

That is just a tiny picture of the great power of GOD.  But what is most important to The LORD YOUR GOD is this.  That you fear The LORD YOUR GOD, and serve Him with all your heart, obeying all His Laws, Teachings, and Instructions that are written in The Law of Moses.  Having Atonement in The Messiah Yeshua.  And knowing and believing that there is only ONE GOD and no others.  That The Messiah Yeshua is that ONE GOD.

Then you will make your way prosperous, and you will have good success.  For The LORD YOUR GOD is with you wherever you go.

Shalom.

GOD’S LAWS FOR PASSOVER.

Beth Elohenu Messianic Congregation

P.O. Box 335761

N. Las Vegas, NV. 89033

Shalom.  Our teaching this morning from Torah, The Law of Moses will come from GOD’S Spoken Word in Numbers 9.1-14.

AND THE TITLE FOR OUR MESSAGE IS, GOD’S LAWS FOR PASSOVER.

And with that said, let’s read Numbers 9.1-14.

NUMBERS 9.1-3  The Children of Israel observed the first Passover in Egyptian bondage the evening before The LORD GOD brought His People out of Egypt in the Exodus that began their journey to the Promised Land, The Land of Israel.

Now, one year later at the beginning of the second year of Jewish freedom in the wilderness of Sinai, The LORD said to Moses, “Let the Children of Israel keep the Passover at its accepted time.  In the fourteenth day of this month at evening, you shall keep it in his appointed time according to all its Rules, Statutes, and Laws.”

Thus the Passover must begin in the fourteenth day of the Hebrew month Nisan at evening when the sun goes down.

This year the evening of Passover is Friday, April 22nd at sundown.

And the Passover must be kept according to all GOD’S Rules, Statutes, and Laws as they are written in Torah, GOD’S Law of Moses.

Let’s look at Exodus Chapter 12 where GOD gave Moses all His Passover Laws the day before The LORD brought His People out of 400 years of Egyptian slavery 3,400 years ago by the hand of Moses.

EXODUS 12.1-2  GOD spoke to Moses saying, “The Hebrew month Nisan shall be the beginning of months.  It shall be the first month of the year to you and the Children of Israel.”

EXODUS 12.5-6  The fourteenth day of the Hebrew month Nisan at evening is the beginning of Passover.

And the whole assembly of the Congregation of Israel killed their Passover lamb that evening.

But as we know, the Passover lamb is not sacrificed today because there is no Temple in Jerusalem.

At GOD’S command, no sacrifice of any kind can be made when there is no Temple.  Leviticus 17.8-9

EXODUS 12.14-15  Passover is a memorial for the Jewish People.  A memorial to remember this great day, the day that the GOD of Creation brought His People out of 400 years of Egyptian slavery into freedom.

And the Festival of Passover is to be observed throughout the generations of the Jewish People.  And that is forever.  Isaiah 66.22.

And the Passover continues for seven days.  And The LORD requires His people to eat matzah, unleavened bread for those seven days.  And we are commanded by The LORD OUR GOD to put away all leavened products from our homes until the seventh day at evening.

Whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel, saith The LORD.

EXODUS 12.16  Holy Convocation in Hebrew is MEEK’RA KODESH meaning,  A Sacred Occasion, a Sabbath.  A time set apart for The LORD.  And the gathering together of the People for a service to observe the Holy Day.

And it is a rehearsal because we will observe Passover forever, in the 1,000 year Kingdom of GOD on earth in Israel, and throughout eternity in Heaven.

Thus The LORD GOD says, “The first day and the seventh day of Passover shall be a Holy Convocation.  A Sabbath.  No manner of work shall be done in them except that which every person must eat.”

EXODUS 12.20  We must not eat anything leavened during the seven days of Passover.  We must eat matzah, unleavened bread.

EXODUS 12.43-45  Passover in Hebrew is PEH’SAKH meaning passing over, or sparing.  Sparing the families of the Children of Israel during the plague when GOD killed the firstborn Egyptians.  EXODUS 12.13

The Passover is also the Passover lamb that was sacrificed in the evening of the fourteenth day of Nisan, the evening before the Exodus, and eaten by the Children of Israel.

GOD commanded the Children of Israel to smear the blood of the sacrificed Passover lamb on the doorposts of their houses.  “When I see the blood, GOD said, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.”

The blood of the Passover lamb saved the Children of Israel and delivered them from death giving them freedom from 400 years of Egyptian bondage.

But GOD also says, No stranger, that is no non-Jewish person shall eat of the Passover lamb.

A foreigner or a hired servant shall not eat of the Passover lamb.

And we’ll return to that subject in a moment.

EXODUS 12.46  GOD commanded the Children of Israel not to break a bone of the Passover lamb.

Messiah Yeshua was sacrificed and killed and shed His blood for our Atonement on the first day of Passover 2,000 years ago in Jerusalem.  And not one of His bones was broken.  John writes in The New Testament that the Scripture should be fulfilled.  A bone of Him shall not be broken.

Thus Yeshua The Messiah is our Passover Lamb of GOD Who willingly sacrificed His Life for us.  Shedding His blood for our freedom and from eternal death by forgiving all our sins.

MESSIAH YESHUA IS HA SHEM, GOD ALMIGHTY, THE FATHER. JOHN 19.32-36, JOHN 1.29, 35, 36, ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6, JOHN 12.45, JOHN 14.9

Now concerning the non-Jewish Person who desires to eat of the Passover lamb.

EXODUS 12.48-49  GOD says, again I repeat, GOD says,  ONE LAW shall be for the home born, that is the Jewish Person, and for the stranger, the non-Jewish Person who sojourns among you.

MEANING, NON-JEWISH PEOPLE MUST KEEP THE ONE LAW TO PARTICIPATE IN, OR HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR PASSOVER LAMB WHO IS THE JEWISH MESSIAH YESHUA.

AND THE ONE LAW IS THE THE ONE LAW OF GOD.  AND THE ONE LAW OF GOD IS THE LAW OF MOSES IN WHICH ALL GOD’S LAWS ARE WRITTEN.  LUKE 8.21

For the non-Jewish Person who has faith in Messiah Yeshua,  to sojourn among the Jewish People, or join in with the Jewish People, not necessarily converting to Judaism, but joining in with the Jewish People to be Fully and Equally part of GOD’S Chosen People, you must obey the One Law of GOD.  You must obey The Law of Moses.

Paul teaches that the Jewish People are adopted by GOD.  GOD has given the Jewish People all His Covenants.  GOD has given the Jewish People all His Laws that are written in The Law of Moses to obey them.  GOD has given the Jewish People the responsibility to do the service of GOD.  To live by every Word that proceeds out of the Mouth of GOD.  Those are Messiah Yeshua’s Words written in Matthew 4.4.  And those spoken Words of GOD include the One Law, The Law of Moses.  And GOD has given the Jewish People the promises of GOD.  Their fathers are Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

And Messiah Yeshua in the flesh Who is The Mighty GOD, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace is born from the Jewish People.

And on top of that, Messiah says, “Salvation is from the Jews.”  John 4.22, ROMANS 9.4-5

BY DOING ALL THAT IS COMMANDED BY GOD WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE, INCLUDING ALL THAT IS WRITTEN IN THE LAW OF MOSES IN THE FIRST FIVE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE, AND HAVING ATONEMENT THROUGH YOUR FAITH IN THE MESSIAH YESHUA, THE NON-JEWISH PERSON BECOMES FULLY AND EQUALLY PART OF GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE RECEIVING ALL GOD’S GIFTS, BLESSINGS, PROMISES AND SALVATION.

YOU REMAIN WRITTEN IN GOD’S BOOK OF LIFE.  YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN.  AND WHEN THE TEMPLE IS REBUILT IN JERUSALEM IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH IN ISRAEL, YOU  ARE INVITED BY THE LORD YOUR GOD TO EAT OF THE PASSOVER LAMB.   LUKE 4.4, DEUTERONOMY 8.3

As far as being circumcised, Paul teaches that the Biblical non-Jewish Believer as Titus who has atonement in The Messiah Yeshua, and lives by The One Law Of GOD, The Law of Moses is not compelled to be circumcised.  GALATIANS 2.3

Those are GOD’S Laws for Passover as written in Exodus Chapter 12.

NUMBERS 9.4-7  Certain people were not allowed to keep the Passover because they were defiled by a dead body and were impure seven days.  NUMBERS 19.11, 16

NUMBERS 9.8-13  Thus GOD answered Moses, saying, If any person of the Children of Israel throughout their generations is unclean because of a dead body, or is on a journey far off, he shall keep the Passover to The LORD on the fourteenth day of the second month (rather than the fourteenth day of the first month).  And that person must carry out all the Laws, Rules, and Statutes that pertain to the Passover.

NUMBERS 9.14  AGAIN THE LORD REPEATS, “THERE IS ONLY ONE LAW FOR THE NON-JEWISH PERSON AND THE JEWISH PERSON TO KEEP THE PASSOVER.”  THAT LAW IS THE LAW OF MOSES IN WHICH ALL GOD’S LAWS ARE WRITTEN.

Paul teaches that even Messiah OUR Passover is sacrificed for us.     1 CORINTHIANS 5.7

For the non-Jewish Person to have fellowship with Messiah, or communion, or have a relationship with Messiah, or be saved, and have Salvation, the non-Jewish Person must, I repeat,  the non-Jewish person must obey The One Law of GOD, The Law of Moses, along with your faith in Messiah Yeshua.

Purge out the old leaven.  The old leaven is symbolism for sin.  Sin is breaking the Law of Moses. 1 John 3.4.  As you are a new person through your faith in The Messiah Yeshua, get rid of your sin.  Stop breaking the Law of Moses, and begin to obey the Law of Moses.  Learn it.  Do it.  It’s not difficult.  AND BEGIN TO SERVE THE LORD YOUR GOD.

Let’s talk about the Passover Seder and how and when it originated.

According to Rabbinic literature, the first Passover Seder began as a Rabbinic version of the first century Greek-Roman ritualized meals, or the Greek-Roman practice of ritualized ceremonial meals called symposia.

And gradually the Seder developed into a larger and larger record of events of the Passover in Egypt filled with traditions relating to the bondage of the Jewish People.

The story of the first Passover in Egypt and all the Rabbinic traditions became permanently written in a booklet called the Haggadah.  Haggadah in Hebrew means “telling”, The telling of the Passover story.

Quite frankly, I strongly disagree with the Rabbis understanding of the first Passover Seder.

The original Seder had nothing to do with a Greek-Roman thing.  The Greeks and Romans never observed anything that had to do with GOD or His Passover.

The first Passover Seder was the Seder The Jewish Messiah Yeshua held in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago on the fourteenth day of Nisan in the evening before He was killed for our Atonement.

And I believe the Rabbis know that as well.

The correct Passover Seder must include the meal, the story of the first Passover in Egypt, and the death of the Jewish Messiah Yeshua for the forgiveness of our sins according to the New Covenant written in Jeremiah 31.31-34.

Thus a Kosher Seder should include Messiah’s death, burial, and resurrection.  That we will observe the Passover with Him in The Kingdom of GOD on earth in Israel, and in Heaven forever and ever.

But of course the Rabbis have discarded that to our hurt.

Let’s look at MATTHEW 26.1-2, 17-32

Messiah observed the Passover as GOD commanded.  To be observed as a memorial for the Jewish People forever.

He, with His disciples observed the Passover on the fourteenth day of Nisan in the evening, with a meal.  He taught about the first Passover in Egypt on the eve of the Exodus.

And revealed that He is The New Covenant for the forgiveness of our sins.  EXODUS 12.14-15, JEREMIAH 31.31-34

Christianity calls Messiah’s Seder the last supper.

Eating the matzah was symbolically eating His body, the Passover Lamb.

Drinking the wine from the cup was symbolically drinking His blood, the blood of The New Covenant that forgives all our sins.

And Messiah’s blood established the New Covenant.  Leviticus 17.11

This was all fulfilled the following day of His Passover Seder, the first day of Passover when He willingly gave His Life and shed His blood for the Atonement of His Jewish People and many non-Jewish People.

And the Words that He spoke, “I will not drink again of this wine until the day I drink it with you in My Father’s Kingdom” speaks of His resurrection, and His ascension into Heaven, and His return to establish the Kingdom of GOD on earth in Israel for 1,000 years that will be followed with our eternal life with Him in Heaven forever and ever.

And they went out to the Mount of Olives where Messiah knew He would be taken and killed to fulfill what He came for 2,000 years ago.  To give His Life for the Atonement of His Jewish People and many non-Jewish People, that He accomplished on the first day of Passover.

And that New Covenant spoken of by Messiah Yeshua that is written in Jeremiah 31.31-34 includes The LORD YOUR GOD putting His Law of Moses in your inward parts, and writing it in your hearts to obey.

AND THEN GOD WILL BE YOUR GOD, AND YOU WILL BE HIS PEOPLE.
