Shalom

Our studies in Torah, The Law of Moses will continue from Numbers 29.12-16.

AND THE TITLE OF OUR MESSAGE IS, THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES AND ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN.

And with that said, let’s read Numbers 29.12-16

This is a two part message.  The first part will consist of The LORD’S Commandments for The Feast of Tabernacles, and certain Jewish traditions that are involved in Sukkot, The Feast of Tabernacles.

The second part of our message is the Extraordinary Prophetic Fulfillment that I believe will happen or has happened for each Appointed Festival of The LORD.

All The LORD’S Appointed Festivals are written in Torah in Leviticus Chapter 23.

The continual burnt offerings The LORD GOD speaks of in Numbers 29.16 are The Daily Sacrifice Offerings To The LORD written in NUMBERS 28.1-4 

The Feast of Tabernacles is given great importance as a reminder of the forty years that The Children of Israel lived in booths, in Hebrew called sukkot, when THE LORD GOD brought The People out of the land of Egypt on their journey to the Promised Land Canaan that today is Israel. LEVITICUS 23.33-34, 42-43

Of Great Importance during the Eight Day Feast Of Tabernacles is The LORD’S Reminder and Requirement for GOD’S Jewish People and all Peoples to make an Atonement for their sins with a sin offering.

During Tabernacle and Temple times, atonement was made by the sacrifice of a male goat. 

Sin is breaking The Law of Moses.  Disobeying The Written Word of GOD in The Bible.  1 JOHN 3.4, NUMBERS 15.29-31

NUMBERS 29.12, 16, 17, 19, 20, 22, 23, 25, 26, 28, 29, 31, 32, 34, 35, 38-40, HEBREW TNAKH NUMBERS 29.38-39, NUMBERS 30.1

Our sin offering today is The Jewish Messiah Yeshua Who gave His Life for our Atonement.  That is Prophesied in Isaiah 53.10 and fulfilled in The Jewish New Testament.

The sacrifices called burnt offerings were for a sweet aroma and sin offerings to The LORD for the Children of Israel and the non-Jewish People living among them.

The daily sacrifice of a male goat was also for the Atonement of The Jewish People and the non-Jewish People living among them.

Messiah’s Atoning Death, The Prophet Says, Was pleasing to The LORD when He made His Soul an offering for sin. ISAIAH 53.10

The Festival of Tabernacles became so popular that it was known simply as Hag.  That is The Festival Par Excellence.

Hag is short for Hag Sameach meaning Happy Holiday, or Joyful Festival.

Sukkot is also called, Zeman Sim’kha’taynu, The Time of Our Rejoicing.  DEUTERONOMY 16.15, LEVITICUS 23.40

Jewish People in Israel, and some Jewish People outside of Israel dwell in sukkot or booths during the time of the Festival.  LEVITICUS 23.42

The Hallel Psalms, The Praise with Psalms, PSALMS 113-118 are recited in The Synagogue during the Holiday because of the reference to the Exodus out of Egypt in PSALM 114.1.

And during the Festival many religious Jews take their meals and spend the day in a temporary sukkah (booth).  And many Synagogues construct an adjoining sukkah to the building.

The Seventh Day of the Festival is given the name, Ho’shana Rabbah that literally means, THE GREAT SALVATION NOW, OR THE GREAT DELIVERANCE NOW, OR THE GREAT DEFENDER NOW.  

It’s interesting to note that when Messiah Yeshua entered Jerusalem riding upon a donkey to fulfill the Prophesy of The Prophet Zechariah, who Prophesied, “Rejoice greatly O Daughter of Zion.  Shout O Daughter of Jerusalem. Behold, Your King comes to you.  He is Just and having Salvation, lowly and riding upon a donkey, upon a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

So when Messiah entered Jerusalem riding upon a donkey, large crowds of Jewish People in Jerusalem cried out to Him, Ho’shana L’Ben David”.  Ho’shana (Hosanna) Please Save Now to The Son of David.”

And, “Barukh Haba B’Shem Adonai.  Ho’shana B’Shmai Mah’rom.”  “Blessed is He Who comes in The Name of The LORD.  Ho’shana (Hosanna) Please Save Now in the Highest of Heaven.”

Also The Jewish crowds in Jerusalem cried out to Messiah, “Ho’shana Barukh Haba B’Shem Adonai Melech Y’Israel.”  ” (Hosanna) Please Save Now.  Blessed is The King of Israel Who comes in The Name of The LORD.”

So yes, great numbers of Jewish People received their Messiah Yeshua.  MATTHEW 21.1-9, JOHN 12.12-13, PSALM 118.25-26, ZECHARIAH 9.9

Thus Judaism calls The Seventh Day of Sukkot the time of Great Rejoicing, Ho’shana Rabbah that means Great Salvation Now, or Great Deliverance Now, or Great Defender Now.

I SAY, COME AND MEET YOUR MESSIAH YESHUA, THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM ELOHIM.  THE GREAT SALVATION NOW, THE GREAT DELIVERANCE NOW, THE GREAT DEFENDER NOW.

The Eighth Day of Sukkot is called Shemini Atseret that means The Eighth Day of The Assembly.

The Day is a continuation of Sukkot, and in Jewish thought symbolizes the special relationship between GOD and Israel. And I agree that there is a special relationship between GOD and Israel.

Another day, a ninth day is added to Sukkot called Simchat Torah, meaning Rejoicing of The Torah.  Nice, but not Scriptural.

The Synagogues read the complete Torah in one year starting from the Saturday Shabbat Service following Simchat Torah, to the next Simchat Torah by reading A Table of Scriptural Readings each Saturday Shabbat from Genesis through Deuteronomy.

The Torah reading is then completed on Simchat Torah.  And the following Saturday Shabbat, The Torah reading starts anew from the beginning with a group of Scriptural Readings from Genesis 1.1 to Genesis 6.8, and completed on Simchat Torah with the reading of Deuteronomy 33.1 to Deuteronomy 34.12.

The Feasts of The LORD that we Jewish People call the Jewish Holidays are The Saturday Sabbath, Passover, Shavuot, which is The Feast of Weeks, also called Pentecost, Yom Teruah, The Blowing of Shofars that Judaism calls Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, The Day of Atonement, and Sukkot, meaning Tabernacles.

All GOD’S Festivals are recorded in Torah in Leviticus 23.

And I believe that each one of GOD’S Festivals has a wonderful future event that will take place some time in the future, or has already taken place.

The LORD’S Appointed Festivals are for all mankind to observe. Not just for Jewish People.  Because The Festivals of The LORD are The Festivals of The LORD. LEVITICUS 23.1-2

I believe the wonderful event that will be fulfilled in The Saturday Sabbath, The Seventh Day of The Week will be A TIME OF REST AND PEACE.  LEVITICUS 23.3

And that will come during The Days of The Messianic Kingdom in Israel, also called The One Thousand Year Millennium, with THE MESSIAH YESHUA, HA SHEM ELOHIM, THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.

There is Jewish thought that the world will last six thousand years and then the end will come.  And the Messianic Era with Messiah will begin.

The Messianic Era is The One Thousand Year Messianic Kingdom in Israel when Messiah Yeshua will be King over all the earth Reigning from Jerusalem.  ZECHARIAH 14.9

I SEE THE PROPHETIC FULFILLMENT OF THE SATURDAY SHABBAT AS A TIME OF REST AND JOY, AND PEACE WITH THE PRINCE OF PEACE.  HEBREW TANAKH ISAIAH 9.5-6, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6-7

PASSOVER WAS FULFILLED 2,000 YEARS AGO WHEN MESSIAH YESHUA GAVE HIS LIFE ON THE FIRST DAY OF PASSOVER FOR OUR ATONEMENT.  LEVITICUS 23.5

Because The Passover Lamb and it’s shed blood in Egypt was a Miracle for the Children of Israel in saving them from death, The Messiah Yeshua’s preordained Death and Shed Blood on the First Day of Passover 2,000 years ago are a Miracle for His Jewish People and all Peoples saving them from eternal death.  THE GREAT SALVATION NOW.

For The LORD said, I will pass through the land of Egypt this night and I will kill all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast, and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment.  I AM THE LORD.

And the blood, (the blood of the lamb) shall be for you a token, a miracle upon the houses where you are.  And when I see the blood I will Passover you.  And the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. EXODUS 12.12-13

It is Messiah Yeshua’s Blood that He Shed that makes Atonement for our Soul.  He is Our Ho’shana Rabbah. Our Great Salvation Now.  LEVITICUS 17.11

THEN THERE IS SHAVUOT, THE FEAST OF WEEKS CALLED PENTECOST.

A GREAT EVENT HAPPENED ON PENTECOST IN JERUSALEM FIFTY DAYS AFTER MESSIAH YESHUA GAVE HIS LIFE FOR OUR ATONEMENT.

THREE THOUSAND JEWISH PEOPLE CAME TO FAITH IN THEIR MESSIAH YESHUA.  ACTS 2.1, 37-42, ACTS 5.32

Peter, whose Hebrew name is Shimon, said to the three thousand Jewish People, Repent and be Immersed in Water (Baptism) in The Name of The Messiah Yeshua for the forgiveness of your sins.  And you will receive The Holy Spirit.

In Judiasm, Miqveh immersion in water, called Baptism in Christianity, originated when the Priests washed their hands and their feet in a laver of brass in the Tabernacle and Temple Courtyards before they entered The House of GOD for the purpose of Sanctification and Spiritual Cleansing before The LORD.  EXODUS 30.17-21

EZEKIEL 18.21 EXPLAINS WHAT REPENTANCE IS.

GOD says, If the wicked will Turn and Repent from all their sins that they have committed.  (Sin is disobeying GOD, and His Torah, GOD’S Law of Moses) And keep all GOD’S Statutes, (All GOD’S Laws that are written in The Law of Moses), and do that which is Lawful and Right, You will surely live.  You will not die.

That is Repentance.  Turning to GOD.  Stop sinning.  And start living your life in Obedience to GOD and His Torah, His Law of Moses.  MATTHEW 4.4, MATTHEW 7.21-23, LUKE 8.21, DEUTERONOMY 8.3

ACTS 2.42  The three thousand continued in the Apostles Doctrine.  The Apostles Doctrine is Faith in Messiah Yeshua for Atonement, Repentance, Obedience to Torah, The Law of Moses, and Miqveh Immersion, or Baptism in the Name of The Messiah Yeshua.

ACTS 5.32  EXPLAINS HOW TO RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT.

GOD GIVES THE HOLY SPIRIT TO THOSE WHO OBEY HIM.  THAT INCLUDES OBEYING HIS LAW OF MOSES THAT HAS ALL GOD’S LAWS, TEACHINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS WRITTEN IN IT.  

And obviously the Three Thousand Jewish People Repented according to Biblical Repentance.  They were Immersed in Water, or Baptized in The Name of YESHUA THE MESSIAH, THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM ELOHIM for the forgiveness of their sins.

AND THEY RECEIVED THE HOLY SPIRIT.

YOM TERUAH, THE BLOWING OF SHOFARS THAT JUDAISM CALLS ROSH HASHANAH ALSO HAS GREAT END TIMES FULFILLMENT, I BELIEVE.  LEVITICUS 23.24

THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, THE MESSIAH YESHUA WILL RETURN FROM HEAVEN ON THAT FUTURE DAY IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION TO ESTABLISH THE MESSIANIC KINGDOM IN ISRAEL THAT WILL BE LIKE THE GARDEN OF EDEN.

Messiah says, Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon shall not give it’s light, and the stars will fall from Heaven.  And then shall appear the Sign of The Son of Man, The Messiah Yeshua in Heaven.

And all the Tribes of Israel, all the Jewish People will mourn when they see Their Messiah coming in the Clouds of Heaven with Power and Great Glory.

I believe the Jewish People will mourn because so many of us have rejected Him.

And Messiah will send His Angels with a great sound of a Shofar.  And they will gather all GOD’S elect from the four winds, from one end of Heaven to the other.

That is The Resurrection of the dead in Messiah, and those people who are alive having Biblical Faith in The Messiah Yeshua.  We all will be caught up together in the clouds to meet The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, MESSIAH YESHUA IN THE AIR.  1 THESSALONIANS 4.13-18, GENESIS 5.21-24, 2 KINGS 2.1,11-12

AND MESSIAH YESHUA, THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY WILL DESTROY ALL THE ENEMIES OF GOD, AND THE ENEMIES OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE THAT FOUGHT AGAINST JERUSALEM.  ZECHARIAH 14.12

And we will descend to Israel where Messiah Yeshua will establish the Messianic Kingdom for one thousand years that will be like The Garden of Eden.

And Israel’s Borders will expand to its GOD-Given Borders from A River in Egypt to The Euphrates River.  GENESIS 15.18-21

AND SO SHALL WE BE WITH THE LORD GOD YESHUA THE MESSIAH FOREVER.

THEN YOM KIPPUR, THE DAY OF ATONEMENT. LEVITICUS 23.27

I believe Yom Kippur is symbolic for the huge numbers of Jewish People The LORD OUR GOD will bring into The Messianic Kingdom in Israel who do not know or did not know their Messiah Yeshua.  Nor will they have Atonement in their Messiah for their sins.  EZEKIEL 37.1-14, ETC.

Because The Bible says, And I will pour upon the House of David, and upon the Inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of Grace and of Supplication.  And they shall look upon Me, (The One Whom we pierced, Our Messiah Yeshua)  And they shall mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son.  And shall be in bitterness for Him as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. 

They will mourn for Him because they rejected Him.

And one will say to Him, What are these wounds in your Hands?  Then He will answer, Those with which I was wounded in the House of My Friends.  The Hebrew for Friends is AHAVAH meaning LOVE.  Messiah will say, THOSE WOUNDS ARE FROM THE HOUSE OF THOSE WHOM I LOVE.  

AND IMMEDIATELY THEY WILL RECEIVE ATONEMENT FROM THE ONE WHO LOVES THEM, HA SHEM ELOHIM, MESSIAH YESHUA.

And The Prophet says, “For they shall all know Me from the least of them to the greatest of them, Saith The LORD. (In the Days of the Kingdom)  For I will forgive their iniquity and I will remember their sin no more.” ZECHARIAH 12.10, ZECHARIAH 13.6,  JEREMIAH 31.34

AND SUKKOT, THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES.  LEVITICUS 23.34-36

I believe The First Seven Days of Sukkot are symbolic for The One Thousand Years we will be living in The Messianic Kingdom in Israel that will be like The Garden of Eden with HA SHEM, OUR MESSIAH YESHUA having Joy and Gladness, and Thanksgiving, and The Voice of Melody.  ISAIAH 51.1-3

AND I BELIEVE THE EIGHTH DAY OF SUKKOT IS SYMBOLIC FOR OUR ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN.

When The One Thousand Years are completed in The Messianic Kingdom in Israel, THE LORD will provide a new home for us.  The New Heaven and The Holy City, New Jerusalem that is also Heaven that will come down from GOD out of Heaven prepared as a Bride adorned for her Husband.

And GOD will cause today’s earth and Heaven to flee away. They will vanish.

And GOD’S Tabernacle, His House will be with us in The Holy City New Jerusalem.  And GOD will live among us.  And we will be His People, and GOD Himself will be with us and be our GOD.

And GOD will wipe away all tears from our eyes.  And there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying.  Neither will there be any more pain, for the former things will have passed away.

And THE LORD OUR GOD will make all things new.

And The Great City, The Holy Jerusalem will have the Glory of GOD Whose Light will be like a precious stone, clear as crystal. With a great high wall with twelve gates.  And at the gates will be twelve Angels.  And names written on the gates which are the names of the twelve Tribes of the Children of Israel.

And the wall of the City will have twelve foundations.  And in them written the names of the twelve Apostles of The Lamb.

And the City is approximately 1,500 square miles.  And the wall measures approximately 200 feet.  And is built of jasper.

And the City will be pure gold like clear glass.

And the foundations of the wall are adorned with all manner of precious stones.  The first foundation is jasper. The second sapphire.  The third is chalcedony.  The fourth is an emerald.  The fifth is sardonyx.  The sixth sardius.  The seventh chrysolite.  The eighth beryl.  The ninth a topaz, the tenth a chrysoprasus, the eleventh a jacinth, and the twelfth an amethyst.

And the twelve gates are twelve pearls.  And the street of the City is pure gold like transparent glass. And there is no Temple in the City for THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY AND THE LAMB are The Temple of it.

And The City has no need of the sun or the moon to shine in it for the Glory of GOD Lightens it.  And The Lamb is The Light of it.  And the gates are never shut by day for there is no night there.

And there is a pure river of Water of Life, clear as crystal that proceeds out of The Throne of GOD and of The Lamb.  And between the street on either side of the River is the Tree of Life that bares twelve manner of fruits. And yields her fruit every month.  And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

And there is no more curse, but the Throne of GOD and of The Lamb are in it.  And we, GOD’S Servants will serve HIM.  We will see HIS FACE, and HIS NAME will be in our Foreheads.  YESHUA THE MESSIAH will be in our hearts and mind forever.  

And there is no night there, neither any need for a lamp. Neither the light of the sun.  For THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, YESHUA THE MESSIAH gives us light.  And we will reign forever and ever.  REVELATION 20-22

That I believe is The Prophetic Fulfillment for The Feast of Tabernacles for those who do The Commandments of GOD, His Laws, Teachings and Instructions that are written in The Law of Moses. And have Atonement in The Messiah Yeshua.

Our Teaching will continue from Torah, The Law of Moses from Numbers 29.7-11.

AND THE TITLE OF OUR MESSAGE IS, ATONEMENT AND THE DAY OF ATONEMENT.

And with that said, let’s read Numbers 29.7-11.

These Words of course refer to Yom Kippur, The Day of Atonement that usually comes around September.

Yom Kippur belongs to the category of THE FESTIVALS OF THE LORD, ALSO CALLED THE APPOINTED SEASONS OF THE LORD.

THE FESTIVALS OF THE LORD ARE THE SATURDAY SABBATH, PASSOVER, SHAVUOT, ALSO CALLED PENTECOST, YOM TERUAH, THE BLOWING OF SHOFARS THAT JUDAISM CALLS ROSH HASHANAH, YOM KIPPUR, THE DAY OF ATONEMENT, AND SUKKOT, CALLED TABERNACLES.

All GOD’s Festivals that Judaism call The Jewish Holidays are written in Leviticus 23.

An interesting note concerning the close of The Yom Kippur Service in The Synagogues is the Ne’ilah Prayer.  In Hebrew Ne’ilah means closing.  And the dominating theme of the Ne’ilah Prayer Service is that the Day of Judgment is coming to an end, and the Divine verdict is about to be sealed.

And the Ne’ilah concludes with the declaration of GOD’S UNITY, the sounding of the Shofar, and the Prayer, La Shanah Ha Bah’ah Bi Yerushalayim; Next Year in Jerusalem.

What I find of great importance is that THE UNITY OF GOD is declared in the Ne’ilah Service.  Because  The UNITY OF GOD is Biblical Teaching.

Webster’s Dictionary describes the word UNITY as THE STATE OF BEING ONE.  A whole or totality as combining all its parts into ONE.  AN ABSENCE OF DIVERSITY, UNVARIED, IDENTICAL IN CHARACTER. 

This is not surprising because the bedrock of Judaism is the belief in ONE GOD.  That is Biblical from the Lips of GOD.

HEAR O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE. DEUTERONOMY 6.4, MARK 12.29, ISAIAH 43.10, ETC

JUDAISM SEES GOD AS ONE GOD.  AND THAT IS TRUTH.

Although some Messianic Jews are converted to a Doctrine that GOD is a trinity of three different gods. And that is false.  And pagan.

THE UNITY OF ONE GOD IS AVINU MALKAYNU, OUR FATHER OUR KING, AND RUAKH ELOHIM, THE SPIRIT OF GOD, ARE ONE AND THE SAME GOD.

But unfortunately, much of Judaism today rejects the concept of a personal Messiah, WHO IS THAT ONE GOD.

A large part of Judaism is taught that humankind is moving toward a Messianic Era of perfect peace and justice, even without supernatural intervention.

But Habad (Lubavitch) Hasidism expect the imminent advent of The Messiah.  But wrongfully, and not according to TNAKH, THE HOLY SCRIPTURES.  Because The Bible reads,

A Child is born to The Jewish People, The Son is Given to The Jewish People, And the Government shall be upon His Shoulder; And His Name is called (In Hebrew) PELE, YO’AYTZ,  EL GIBBOR, AVI AD, SAR SHALOM.  That is, WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE.

THE CHILD BORN TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE, THE SON GIVEN TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE WHOSE NAME IS CALLED WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE IS NONE OTHER THAN THE JEWISH MESSIAH YESHUA WHO IS THE MIGHTY GOD AND THE EVERLASTING FATHER.

MESSIAH YESHUA IS THE ONE GOD.  HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6

But rather, The Hasidim believe that the Messiah may be a man in the person of their leader, Rabbi Menahem Schneerson who died in 1994.

My point being, well first of all I’m shocked that much of Judaism reject GOD’S Promise that He will bring us a Messiah.

And secondly, many in mainstream Judaism who believe that Messiah will come, do not believe that Messiah is GOD, HA SHEM ELOHIM but a mere man, a human being.  Even though TNAKH, THE HOLY SCRIPTURES tells us that He is HA SHEM, GOD ALMIGHTY.  TNAKH, ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE, ISAIAH 9.6, and MICAH 5.1 in TNAKH, or MICAH 5.2 in The CHRISTIAN BIBLE.

My point again, The Declaration of GOD’S UNITY during the Yom Kippur Service SHOULD, AND ONE DAY WILL INCLUDE THE MESSIAH YESHUA WHO IS ELOHIM, MAH’SHEE’AKH MO’SHE’AY’NU, MESSIAH OUR SAVIOR. HE IS GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM, AVINU MALKAYNU, OUR FATHER, OUR KING.  AND RUAKH ELOHIM, THE SPIRIT OF GOD.  ALL ARE ONE AND THE SAME GOD.

MESSIAH YESHUA IS THE UNITY OF GOD.

AND THAT IS THE PERFECT UNITY.  THE FATHER, THE MESSIAH, AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD.  AND THESE THREE ARE ONE.  WITHOUT DIVERSITY.  ALL ARE IDENTICAL. ONE AND THE SAME GOD.

Let’s return to Yom Kippur.

The Commandments of GOD for Yom Kippur are written in TORAH in LEVITICUS 23.26-32.

LEVITICUS 23.26  The LORD spoke to Moses and gave him His Commandments and Laws for Yom Kippur, The Day of Atonement.

And these are GOD’S Laws that we should follow, because we must obey GOD.

LEVITICUS 23.27  On the tenth day of the Seventh Hebrew Month Tisheri, ten days after Yom Teruah that Judaism calls Rosh Hashanah, there shall be a Day of Atonement, GOD said to Moses.

It shall be a Holy Convocation.  That is a special Day Dedicated to The LORD OUR GOD with a gathering together of His People for a Service.

And offer an offering made by fire unto The LORD.  And we will address the offering in a moment.

AND WE MUST AFFLICT OUR SOULS.

The Rabbis see this Word AFFLICT to mean fasting.  I don’t.

The Hebrew word for AFFLICT IS AH’NAH and does not mean to fast.  It means to be humble, and submit yourself. ESPECIALLY TO GOD.

The Hebrew Words used in TNAKH, THE HOLY SCRIPTURES for Fast or Fasted are not the Hebrew word AH’NAH FOR AFFLICT but are different Hebrew words, TSOOM AND TSOME.  JEREMIAH 36.9, The Hebrew word TSOME, 2 SAMUEL 1.12 The Hebrew word TSOOM.

My point is this.  The main purpose for Yom Kippur, The Day of Atonement is to make Atonement for our soul on that Day, if one does not already have Atonement.

Fasting is fine, but again, the reason for Yom Kippur is to make Atonement for your soul.  And be Obedient to GOD.

LET’S LOOK AT LEVITICUS 23.28.

You Shall do no work on Yom Kippur, for it is a Day of Atonement TO MAKE AN ATONEMENT FOR YOU BEFORE THE LORD YOUR GOD.

THE DAY OF ATONEMENT IS A HOLY CONVOCATION.  A DAY FOR THE PEOPLE OF GOD TO GATHER TOGETHER FOR A SERVICE DEDICATED TO THE LORD.

YOU MUST AFFLICT YOUR SOUL.  THAT IS, YOU MUST HUMBLE YOURSELF AND BE SUBMISSIVE TO THE LORD YOUR GOD.  SIMPLY SAID, OBEY HIS EVERY WORD.

OBEY EVERY WORD GOD SPEAKS IN THE BIBLE.  THAT INCLUDES GOD’S LAW OF MOSES THAT HAS ALL HIS LAWS, TEACHINGS, AND INSTRUCTIONS WRITTEN IN IT. DEUTERONOMY 8.3, MATTHEW 4.4, LUKE 4.4

AND OFFER AN OFFERING MADE BY FIRE TO THE LORD.

AS YOU WELL KNOW, THE LORD FORBIDS THE SACRIFICE OF ANIMALS WHEN THERE IS NO TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM.  AND THERE IS NO TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM TODAY BECAUSE THE ROMANS DESTROYED IT IN 70 C.E., A.D.

MESSIAH YESHUA’S SOLE PURPOSE FOR HIS FIRST COMING 2,000 YEARS AGO WAS TO GIVE HIS LIFE FOR THE ATONEMENT OF HIS JEWISH PEOPLE AND ALL MANKIND.

MESSIAH’S DEATH BECAME TORAH, IT BECAME LAW FOR MAKING ATONEMENT FOR OUR SOULS WHEN THE TEMPLE WAS DESTROYED IN 70 C.E., A.D.  LEVITICUS 17.11

IMMEDIATELY BEFORE HIS DEATH, MESSIAH SAID, THE SON OF MAN GOES AS IT IS WRITTEN OF HIM.

AND WHEN MESSIAH AND HIS DISCIPLES WERE EATING AT THEIR PASSOVER SEDER, MESSIAH TOOK MATZAH AND BROKE IT.  AND GAVE IT TO HIS DISCIPLES, AND SAID, TAKE.  EAT.  THIS IS MY BODY.

AND THEN HE TOOK THE CUP OF WINE OR GRAPE JUICE, AND GAVE THANKS, AND GAVE IT TO THEM, SAYING, DRINK ALL OF IT, FOR THIS IS MY BLOOD OF THE NEW COVENANT WHICH IS SHED FOR MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS.

AND WHEN MESSIAH WAS TAKEN BY THE CROWD, HE SAID, BUT HOW THEN SHALL THE SCRIPTURE BE FULFILLED THAT SAYS IT HAS TO HAPPEN THIS WAY?

MESSIAH CAME FOR ONE REASON.  TO GIVE HIS LIFE FOR OUR ATONEMENT FULFILLING THE PROPHESIES WRITTEN IN TNAKH, THE OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES. ISAIAH 52.13-15, ISAIAH 53, JEREMIAH 31.31-34, MATTHEW 26.24, 26, 27, 28, 54

BACK TO LEVITICUS 23.28.

YOU SHALL DO NO WORK ON THAT DAY FOR IT IS A DAY OF ATONEMENT TO MAKE ATONEMENT FOR YOU BEFORE THE LORD YOUR GOD.

HOW IS ATONEMENT ACCOMPLISHED TODAY WITHOUT A TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM IF NOT BY THE DEATH AND SHED BLOOD OF THE MESSIAH YESHUA?  LEVITICUS 17.8-9, 11

Well, some Rabbis say that one’s proper observance of Yom Kippur can serve to atone for transgressions against GOD. While sins committed against others require their forgiveness prior to The Day of Atonement.

THAT’S ALL WELL AND GOOD, BUT GOD SAYS, FOR IT IS THE BLOOD THAT MAKES ATONEMENT FOR THE SOUL. THAT NEVER CHANGES.  LEVITICUS 17.11

Others teach that Atonement can be accomplished through the payment of compensation for wrongs committed through suffering, or through the performance of certain rituals, accompanied with repentance and righting one’s way of life.

Again all well and good, but how does one get around GOD’S ETERNAL LAW FOR ATONEMENT, FOR IT IS THE BLOOD THAT MAKES ATONEMENT FOR THE SOUL? LEVITICUS 17.11

THE BIBLE SAYS THAT “THE WORD OF OUR GOD SHALL STAND FOREVER”.  AND “FOREVER, O LORD, YOUR WORD IS SETTLED IN HEAVEN”.  ISAIAH 40.8, PSALM 119.89

THEREFORE, IT IS STILL THE BLOOD THAT MAKES ATONEMENT FOR THE SOUL.  THAT NEVER CHANGES NOR DOES THAT LAW OF GOD EVER END.

ATONEMENT CANNOT BE MADE ANY OTHER WAY BUT BY THE DEATH AND SHED BLOOD OF THE JEWISH MESSIAH YESHUA.  FOR JEWISH PEOPLE AND NON-JEWISH PEOPLE.

THAT IS LAW BECAUSE IT IS WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE. 

IT WAS SAID, NONE LOVED ISRAEL AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE SO INTENTLY, EVEN UNTO DEATH AS YESHUA OF NAZARETH.

LEVITICUS 23.29  I do not believe that The Holy One Of Israel will cut anyone off from among His People for not fasting on The Day of Atonement.

BUT IN THE END, OBEDIENCE TO GOD AND HIS TORAH, THE LAW OF MOSES AND ATONEMENT IN MESSIAH YESHUA ARE CRITICAL. 

GOD does say, “Whosoever has sinned against Me, him will I blot out of My Book.”  That is the Book of Life. Exodus 32.33

Sin is breaking Torah, The Law of Moses written in the first five Books of The Bible.

Sin is also disobeying the Spoken Word of GOD. NUMBERS 15.29-31, 1 JOHN 3.4, ROMANS 6.1-2

Making Atonement for your sins before The LORD YOUR GOD means that GOD will cancel your sins, and reconcile you to Him.

That is the purpose for The New Testament.  To reveal to all mankind how their sins are forgiven, through the death and shed blood of The Jewish Messiah Yeshua.

AND THEN YOU MUST FOLLOW IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE MESSIAH YESHUA BY OBEYING EVERY WORD THAT THE LORD GOD SPEAKS IN THE BIBLE.  AND THAT INCLUDES EVERY LAW, TEACHING, AND INSTRUCTION THAT IS WRITTEN IN THE LAW OF MOSES IN THE FIRST FIVE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE.

THAT PREVENTS YOU FROM SINNING AGAINST THE LORD YOUR GOD.

OR ELSE YOUR ATONEMENT IN MESSIAH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE LORD GOD. 1 PETER 2.21-22, 2 PETER 2.22, MATTHEW 4.4, ISAIAH 56.6-7, DEUTERONOMY 8.3

LEVITICUS 23.30-32  Very few people live their lives according to every Word that proceeds out of The Mouth of GOD, Whose Word is written in The Bible from Genesis through Revelation.

Therefore if it is impossible for you to take the Sabbath off from work, I believe that GOD understands.  But if you can take the Sabbath off, it is important in The Eyes of GOD that you do no work on the Sabbath Day from sundown on Friday to sundown Saturday.  And attend a Service at a Torah observant Messianic Congregation.

So Atonement and The Day of Atonement.

Today, as we all know, Atonement can only be accomplished through the Atoning Death of The Jewish Messiah Yeshua and His Shed Blood.

And that must be followed by Obedience to Torah.

Obedience to All GOD’S Laws, Teachings, and Instructions that are Written in The Law of Moses in the first five Books of The Bible.  That prevents you from sinning against The LORD YOUR GOD.  

And you remain written in GOD’S Book of Life.  

Or else you will fall back into sin.  Romans 6.1-2. 2 PETER 2.22

As Peter, whose Hebrew name is Shimon, and the other Jewish Apostles said in ACTS 5.29, We ought to obey GOD rather than men.

Our teaching will continue from Torah, The Law of Moses from Numbers 29.1-6.

AND THE TITLE OF OUR MESSAGE IS, WHAT IS THE FESTIVAL, A MEMORIAL PROCLAIMED WITH THE BLAST OF HORNS, THAT THE LORD COMMANDS US TO OBSERVE?

So with that said, let’s read Numbers 29.1-6.

I have to tell you, most Jewish People do not know what this Festival is, A MEMORIAL PROCLAIMED WITH THE BLAST OF HORNS.

That’s how this Festival of GOD is described in His Commanded Festivals in The Holy Scriptures, Published by the Jewish Publication Society of America, Copyright 1917 in LEVITICUS 23.23-24

And also described as A SACRED OCCASION COMMEMORATED WITH LOUD BLASTS in The JPS Hebrew-English TANAKH, Published by The Jewish Publication Society, Philadelphia, 1999 – 5759.

Or A REMEMBRANCE WITH SHOFAR BLASTS in The Stone Edition TANACH, Published by Mesorah Publications Ltd.

Or A MEMORIAL OF BLOWING OF HORNS in The Jerusalem Bible, Published by Koren Publishers Jerusalem.

AND ALSO CALLED YOM HA ZIKKARON, THE DAY OF REMEMBRANCE, OR YOM TERUAH, THE DAY OF SOUNDING THE SHOFAR.

But the Rabbis have changed this Festival of GOD to Rosh Hashanah.

Rosh Hashanah and it’s observance was created from the Talmud.  Not The Bible.

The Talmud is a collection of the Teachings of the Major Jewish Scholars from 200 to 500 C.E., (A.D.), and known as The Classic Period of Rabbinic Judaism.

But GOD’S TORAH, The Law of Moses that has All GOD’S Laws, Teachings and Instructions written in it, has Authority over all the writings of man, any man, Reads,

“And now, O Israel, Hearken unto The Statutes and unto The Ordinances which I teach you, to do them, that you may live, and go in and possess the Land which the LORD, THE GOD of your fathers gives you.

YOU SHALL NOT ADD UNTO THE WORD WHICH I COMMAND YOU, NEITHER SHALL YOU DIMINISH FROM IT, THAT YOU MAY KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD YOUR GOD WHICH I COMMAND YOU.” DEUTERONOMY 4.1-2

Thus the Rabbis decided to change GOD’S Commanded Festival, ZEEKH’RONE T’ROO’AH, MEANING, A REMEMBRANCE OF SOUNDING THE SHOFAR, to Rosh Hashanah, meaning The Beginning of the Year, which is The Jewish Religious New Year.

The Rabbis also teach that Rosh Hashanah is the anniversary of the day in which the world was created. Or the day that Adam and Eve were created.

The Rabbis also teach, That on that day Rosh Hashanah, all that have entered into the world pass before The LORD GOD in judgment like a flock of sheep.

And The Day is a Day of Sounding the Shofar.  Here the Rabbis agree with The Bible.

However, no mention is made in The Bible of this Day being the New Year.

Also, the Rabbis teach that Rosh Hashanah takes on additional significance since it marks the beginning of ten days of penitence.  That is repenting for wrong doing and sinning, which end at the close of Yom Kippur, The Day of Atonement.

GOD’S NEW YEAR IS WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE.  BUT IT IS NOT ROSH HASHANAH 

And we are never told by The LORD GOD in The Bible the day in which the world was created, nor the day that Adam and Eve were created.

GOD established The New Year in the Passover Month Nisan.  The Hebrew Month Nisan is usually in March and April.

GOD Says, “This Month shall be unto you the beginning of months.  It shall be the first month of the year to you.” EXODUS 12.1-2

THIS FESTIVAL OF THE LORD, A MEMORIAL PROCLAIMED WITH THE BLAST OF HORNS, AND ALL GOD’S COMMANDED FESTIVALS ARE WRITTEN IN TORAH IN THE 23rd CHAPTER OF LEVITICUS.

Rosh Hashanah is not a Commanded Festival of GOD, nor is it mentioned in The Bible.

And according to Torah, ZEEKH’RONE T’ROO’AH, A REMEMBRANCE OF SOUNDING THE HORNS is about REMEMBERING THE LORD WITH SHOFAR BLASTS.  AND CALLING TO MIND THAT WE NEED ATONEMENT FOR OUR SINS.

And this Festival, as all GOD’S Festivals are Holy Convocations, in which GOD requires a gathering together of all GOD’S People for a Service, a Sabbath, a Day of no work of any kind, AND A REHEARSAL.

The Rehearsal is for the extraordinary future events that I believe will fulfill a number of remarkable Prophesies which we will describe later in the study. LEVITICUS 23.23-25, NUMBERS 29.1, 5

SO LET’S SEE WHAT THE LORD GOD COMMANDS US TO DO ON THIS FESTIVAL OF GOD THAT HE CALLS ZEEKH’RONE T’ROO’AH, A REMEMBRANCE OF SOUNDING THE SHOFAR, OR A REMEMBRANCE OF SOUNDING THE HORNS.

NUMBERS 29.1  The Festival is in the seventh Hebrew Month Tishrei on the first day of the Month.  The Hebrew Month Tishrei comes around September.  On the same day the Rabbis created Rosh Hashanah.

AND ZEEKH’RONE T’ROO’AH, A REMEMBRANCE OF SOUNDING THE SHOFAR is a Holy Convocation.  A time set aside for The LORD GOD.  A time for GOD’S People to gather together for a Service dedicated to The LORD.  No work of any kind is to be done on that Day.  And it is a Rehearsal.

NUMBERS 29.2-6  In Tabernacle and Temple times, animal sacrifices were made to The LORD during this Festival as in all The Festivals of GOD.  

And a male goat was sacrificed for a sin offering to make atonement for the People.

Of course, we all know that without a Temple in Jerusalem, the sacrifice is forbidden by HA SHEM, GOD ALMIGHTY.  But HA SHEM still requires a sacrifice for atonement even without the Temple standing in Jerusalem.

And according to Prophetic Scriptures written in TNAKH, The Old Testament Scriptures, and fulfilled in The New Covenant, The Jewish New Testament, Atonement today is accomplished through the sin offering of The Jewish Messiah Yeshua when He gave His Life, and shed His Blood 2,000 years ago in Jerusalem.  

There are no other alternatives for Atonement for anyone.

And to confirm that Messiah Yeshua is our Atonement, our offering for sin, GOD raised Him from the dead on the third day after His death.  Fulfilling the Promise of GOD that He would Prolong His days.  GOD would not abandon Messiah in hell.  Nor would Ha Shem allow His Holy One to see corruption.  ISAIAH 53.8-12, PSALM 16.10, PSALM 22.13-22, LEVITICUS 17. 8, 9, 11

It is thought by many, especially in the Messianic Jewish Community, and I agree, that this Festival of GOD, ZEEKH’RONE T’ROO’AH, A REMEMBRANCE OF SOUNDING THE SHOFAR that is called ROSH HASHANAH, has extraordinary Prophesies that will be fulfilled sometime in the future on this Day.  

A Day not revealed in Scripture.

When the Shofars are being sounded in The Synagogues throughout the world during a future Rosh Hashanah, THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, THE MESSIAH YESHUA WILL RETURN FROM HEAVEN AS PROPHESIED BY THE PROPHETS AND THE MESSIAH YESHUA HIMSELF.

AND HE, MESSIAH YESHUA, WILL DESTROY ALL THE ENEMIES OF ISRAEL WHO GATHERED AGAINST JERUSALEM TO BATTLE.

AND MESSIAH WILL RETURN AND SET UP HIS MESSIANIC KINGDOM IN ISRAEL WHERE HE WILL BE KING OVER ALL THE EARTH.

AND THAT IS NOT ALL.  ZECHARIAH 14

THE MESSIAH YESHUA HIMSELF DESCRIBES THE MIRACULOUS EVENTS IN THE JEWISH NEW TESTAMENT THAT I BELIEVE WILL COME TO PASS ON A FUTURE ROSH HASHANAH.

MESSIAH YESHUA WILL RETURN FROM HEAVEN DURING THE GREAT PROPHETIC TRIBULATION THAT WILL OCCUR WORLDWIDE.

SUCH A TIME OF TRIBULATION, MESSIAH SAYS, HAS NEVER BEEN SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD TO THAT TIME.  NOR EVER SHALL BE.  IT WILL BE SO TERRIBLE THAT EXCEPT THOSE DAYS ARE SHORTENED, NO HUMAN WOULD SURVIVE.  BUT FOR THE ELECT’S SAKE, THOSE DAYS WILL BE SHORTENED.

THERE WILL ARISE MANY FALSE MESSIAHS, AND FALSE PROPHETS.  THAT IS TO SAY, RELIGIOUS IMPOSTERS. AND THEY WILL SHOW GREAT SIGNS AND WONDERS THAT IF IT WERE POSSIBLE THEY WILL DECEIVE THE VERY ELECT.

FOR AS THE LIGHTNING COMES OUT OF THE EAST, MESSIAH SAYS, AND SHINES EVEN TO THE WEST, SO SHALL ALSO THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE. THE MESSIAH YESHUA, GOD ALMIGHTY.

FOR WHEREVER THE CARCASS IS, THERE WILL THE VULTURES BE GATHERED TOGETHER.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION OF THOSE DAYS, THE SUN SHALL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON SHALL NOT GIVE HER LIGHT.  AND THE STARS WILL FALL FROM HEAVEN.  AND THE POWERS OF THE HEAVENS WILL BE SHAKEN.

AND THEN SHALL APPEAR THE SIGN, AND THE MIRACLE, AND THE WONDER OF THE SON OF MAN IN HEAVEN.  AND THEN SHALL ALL THE TRIBES OF ISRAEL MOURN, AND THEY WILL SEE THE SON OF MAN, THEIR MESSIAH COMING IN THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY.

AND HE WILL SEND HIS ANGELS WITH A GREAT SOUND OF A SHOFAR.

AND THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER HIS ELECT FROM THE FOUR WINDS, FROM ONE END OF HEAVEN TO THE OTHER.  MATTHEW 24.3, 21-24, 28-31

AND THE RESURRECTION OF THE ELECT WILL HAPPEN ON THAT DAY OF ROSH HASHANAH.  

AND AS ENOCH AND THE PROPHET ELIJAH WERE TAKEN UP ALIVE BY GOD, THOSE OF GOD’S ELECT WHO ARE ALIVE WHEN MESSIAH RETURNS WILL BE TAKEN UP TOGETHER WITH THE RESURRECTED TO MEET THE LORD GOD, THE MESSIAH YESHUA IN THE AIR.

AND WE, THE ELECT OF GOD, TOGETHER WITH THE MESSIAH YESHUA, WILL DESCEND FROM THE CLOUDS TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD IN ISRAEL, TO THE 1,000 YEAR MILLENNIUM.  

AND SO SHALL WE BE FOREVER WITH THE LORD.  1 THESSALONIANS 4.13-18, EZEKIEL 37.11-14, GENESIS 5.21-24, 2 KINGS 2.11

AND ISRAEL’S GOD-GIVEN BORDERS WILL BE RESTORED FROM THE RIVER OF EGYPT TO THE EUPHRATES RIVER. GENESIS 15.18-21

AND THE LORD GOD, THE MESSIAH YESHUA WILL BE KING OVER ALL THE EARTH.  AND HE WILL REIGN FROM JERUSALEM.

IN THAT DAY THERE SHALL BE ONE LORD, AND HIS NAME ONE.  ZECHARIAH 14

AND THE RANSOMED OF THE LORD WILL RETURN, AND COME TO ZION WITH SONGS AND EVERLASTING JOY UPON THEIR HEADS.  AND THEY WILL OBTAIN JOY AND GLADNESS, AND SORROW AND SIGHING WILL FLEE AWAY.  ISAIAH 35.10

IT WILL BE SO VERY MARVELOUS FOR US. AND IT WILL BE MARVELOUS FOR THE LORD OF HOSTS.  ZECHARIAH 8.6

AND THE DAUGHTER OF ZION, THE JEWISH PEOPLE, WILL SING AND REJOICE, FOR THE LORD OUR GOD WILL DWELL IN THE MIDST OF US.

AND MANY NON-JEWISH PEOPLE WILL BE JOINED TO THE LORD IN THAT DAY, AND THEY WILL BE GOD’S PEOPLE.  AND GOD WILL DWELL IN THE MIDST OF THEM.  ZECHARIAH 2.10-11

AND THE EARTH WILL BE FULL OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE LORD AS THE WATERS COVER THE SEA.  ISAIAH 11.9

AND THE GREATNESS OF MESSIAH’S KINGDOM, AND THE GREATNESS OF PEACE WILL HAVE NO END BECAUSE MESSIAH YESHUA WILL BE SITTING UPON THE THRONE OF DAVID IN JERUSALEM.  HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.7

FOR GOD WILL CREATE JERUSALEM AND ALL ISRAEL A REJOICING FOREVER FOR HIS PEOPLE, AND GOD’S PEOPLE WILL BE A JOY.

AND HA SHEM GOD ALMIGHTY, THE MESSIAH YESHUA WILL REJOICE IN JERUSALEM, AND JOY IN HIS PEOPLE.

AND THE VOICE OF WEEPING WILL NEVER AGAIN BE HEARD IN HER, NOR THE VOICE OF CRYING.  FOR THEY ARE THE DESCENDANTS OF THE BLESSED OF THE LORD, AND THEIR OFFSPRING WILL BE WITH THEM.  ISAIAH 65.18, 19, 23

AND WHEN THE LAND OF ISRAEL IS DIVIDED IN THE MESSIANIC KINGDOM FOR AN INHERITANCE, THE NON-JEWISH PEOPLE OF GOD’S ELECT WILL BE AS BORN IN ISRAEL AMONG THE JEWISH PEOPLE.

AND THEY WILL HAVE THEIR INHERITANCE AMONG THE TRIBES OF ISRAEL.  

AND IN WHAT TRIBE THE NON-JEWISH PERSON DECIDES TO SETTLE, THERE SHALL THEIR INHERITANCE BE IN THE LAND OF ISRAEL THAT GOD WILL MAKE LIKE THE GARDEN OF EDEN.  

WITH JOY AND GLADNESS AND THANKSGIVING, AND THE VOICE OF MELODY FOREVER.  EZEKIEL 47.21-23, ISAIAH 51.3

Our Teaching this morning from Torah, The Law of Moses will continue from Numbers 28.26-31.

AND THE TITLE OF OUR MESSAGE IS, THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD. NOT A TRINITY OF THREE DIFFERENT gods.

And with that said, let’s read Numbers 28.26-31.

These Words that GOD spoke to Moses are about The LORD’S Feast of Weeks.  In Judaism The Feast of Weeks is called Shavuot.  In Hebrew meaning Weeks.  And also called Pentecost.

The Feast of Weeks is fifty days, or seven Sabbaths plus one day from the day after the first day of Passover.  The first day of Passover is also a Sabbath.

In Tabernacle and Temple times, GOD commanded The Children of Israel to offer a new grain offering to The LORD, and two loaves of bread baked with leaven that the Priest waved above his head.  The two loaves of bread were the firstfruits.  They represented the first crops offered to The LORD.

I believe that the Priest waving the two loaves of bread over his head was Prophetic of the Resurrection of The Messiah Yeshua as Prophesied in TNAKH, The Old Testament Scriptures.  And also Prophetic of the Resurrection of the whole House of Israel as Prophesied by the Prophet Ezekiel. PSALM 16.10, PSALM 22.13-15, 22, ISAIAH 53.8-0, EZEKIEL 37.11-14

The animal sacrifices were made for a sweet aroma to The LORD along with their grain offerings and drink offerings. And the sacrifice of a male goat for a sin offering.  And they were also waved as a wave offering before The LORD perhaps for the same reason.  The future Resurrections.

Although there is no animal sacrifice today because there is no Temple in Jerusalem, the animal sacrifice for atonement is a reminder to The Jewish People and all mankind that GOD requires atonement for our sins to remain written in GOD’S Book of Life.  Sin is disobeying GOD, and sin is breaking The Law of Moses.  And Those who remain written in GOD’S Book of Life Inherit Eternal Life in Heaven.  1 JOHN 3.4

As you know, our sacrifice today for Atonement is The Messiah Yeshua Who gave His Life and shed His Blood 2,000 years ago for that sole purpose.  To be our Atonement to forgive us our sins.  EXODUS 32.33, LEVITICUS 17.8,9,11, REVELATION 20.15, REVELATION 21.22-27

And the Day of the Feast of Weeks is a Holy Convocation, a time when GOD’S People come together on this Sabbath Day for a Service.  And a Day that no work of any kind is done.  It is a Statute forever throughout the generations of the Jewish People.  Meaning it is a Statute forever as all GOD’S Feasts and Statutes are Forever.  LEVITICUS 23

And The LORD said, When you harvest the harvest of your land, you shall not reap all the way to the edges of your field, or gather the gleanings, that is the fallen grain of your harvest.  You shall leave them for the poor and the stranger. I AM THE LORD.  LEVITICUS 23.15-22, ISAIAH 66.22

On the Day of Pentecost, also called Shavuot, fifty days after the death of The Messiah Yeshua that happened on the first day of Passover in Jerusalem, three thousand Jewish People in Jerusalem turned to The LORD Their GOD, Yeshua The Messiah.  And they Repented and received Atonement from GOD THE LORD.

It is important to note that those three thousand people Repented according to The Word of GOD written in The Bible.

They made a commitment to The LORD to turn from all their sins of disobeying GOD, and breaking His Laws that are written in The Law of Moses, to fully obeying GOD, and keeping All GOD’S Laws that are written in The Law of Moses.  Committing to do that which is lawful and right.  That is Biblical Repentance.

And they were all immersed in water.  That is they were baptized.  And they received The Holy Spirit.  And continued steadfastly in the Apostles Doctrine and Fellowship.

Miqveh Immersion or Baptism, symbolic for the cleansing of sins, is a Jewish practice that originated with the Priests in Tabernacle and Temple times. EXODUS 29.4, EXODUS 30.17-21 

The Apostles Doctrine is the same Doctrine as the Doctrine of the Prophets and Messiah Yeshua Himself. Being obedient to every Word that proceeds out of The Mouth of GOD.  That includes obeying all GOD’S Laws that are written in the Law of Moses.  And believing in ONE GOD Who is Messiah Yeshua, The Creator of Heaven and earth.  ACTS 2.1, 37-42, ACTS 5.32, EZEKIEL 18.21, MATTHEW 4.4, DEUTERONOMY 6.4, DEUTERONOMY 8.3, EPHESIANS 2.19-20, MARK 12.29-31, JOHN 12.45, 49, JOHN 14.9, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6, HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5

Judaism also calls the Feast of Weeks, The Season Of The Giving of Our Torah.

The Children of Israel reached Mount Sinai in the third month from the time of their Exodus out of Egypt.  And on the third day of the third Hebrew Month Sivan, some fifty days after the first Passover in Egypt, The LORD came down in the sight of all the People on Mount Sinai.  Ex. 19.11.

And The Bible says, On the third day in the morning, there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the Mount.  And the sound of the Shofar that was so loud that all the People in the camp trembled.

And Moses brought the People out of the Camp to meet with GOD.  And they stood at the lowest part of the Mountain. And Mount Sinai was altogether in smoke because The LORD descended upon it in fire.  And the smoke rose as the smoke of a furnace.  And the whole Mountain quaked greatly.  And when the sound of the Shofar sounded long and louder and louder, Moses spoke, and GOD answered Him with His Voice.

And The LORD spoke The Words of the Ten Commandments, that are the foundation of Torah, GOD’S LAWS, all written in The Law of Moses.  EXODUS CHAPTERS 19 AND 20

LET’S MOVE TO FORTY DAYS AFTER MESSIAH’S RESURRECTION, AND TO THE SUBJECT THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NOT A TRINITY OF THREE DIFFERENT gods.  

After The Messiah Yeshua was Resurrected on the third day, Messiah had shown Himself alive to His Disciples for forty days, speaking of things pertaining to the Kingdom of GOD.

And He was together with His Disciples on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.  And The Bible says, And when The LORD had spoken these things, while His Disciples looked, He was taken up to Heaven and a cloud received Him out of their sight.  And He sat on the Right Hand of GOD.

YET THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.  BIBLICAL FACT.  HOW CAN GOD SIT ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD?  ACTS 1.1-3, 10-12, MARK 16.19

Though there is ONLY ONE GOD and no others, The TNAKH, The Old Testament Scriptures speak similar Words.  Those Words, “The LORD Said to My LORD, Sit at My Right Hand while I make Your enemies Your footstool.”  PSALM 110.1

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS.  GOD IS NOT A TRINITY OF THREE DIFFERENT gods.  GOD IS ONE. THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.

THUS WHEN MESSIAH YESHUA WHO IS GOD ROSE UP TO HEAVEN AND SAT ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD, BOTH MESSIAH YESHUA AND GOD ALMIGHTY ARE ONE AND THE SAME GOD.

So with the help of The LORD GOD from The Word of GOD in The Bible, I will try to explain the truth that there is ONLY ONE GOD AND CERTAINLY NOT A TRINITY OF THREE DIFFERENT gods.

AND THAT ONE GOD AND FATHER IS THE JEWISH MESSIAH YESHUA, HA SHEM ELOHIM.

Let’s first look at some key Scriptures that teach clearly that THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS. DEUTERONOMY 6.4, ISAIAH 43.10-12, ISAIAH 44.6, 8, ISAIAH 44.6, 8, ISAIAH 45.5-7, 14, 18, 21-23, ISAIAH 46.9, MARK 12.29, ETC.

YESHUA THE MESSIAH, THAT IS THE JESUS CHRIST OF THE BIBLE IS GOD. 

BUT HE IS NOT A DIFFERENT GOD FROM GOD THE FATHER AND GOD THE SPIRIT BECAUSE MESSIAH YESHUA IS GOD THE FATHER AND GOD THE SPIRIT.

MESSIAH YESHUA IS THE ONE GOD.

THE BIBLE TELLS US THAT TRUTH.  

IT IS WRITTEN, “FOR UNTO US (THE JEWISH PEOPLE) A CHILD IS BORN.  UNTO US A SON IS GIVEN.  AND THE GOVERNMENT SHALL BE UPON HIS SHOULDER.  AND HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED, WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, THE PRINCE OF PEACE.”

YESHUA THE MESSIAH, THE JESUS CHRIST OF THE BIBLE IS THE MIGHTY GOD AND THE EVERLASTING FATHER.  

THAT IS BIBLICAL TEACHING.  HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6

Let’s start from the beginning when GOD created the Heavens and the earth.  GENESIS 1.1

THE HEBREW WORD FOR GOD IN THIS SCRIPTURE IS ELOHIM.  ELOHIM IN HEBREW MEANS GODS, G-O-D-S BECAUSE THE ONE GOD OF CREATION IS THE FATHER, THE SON, THE MESSIAH, THE SPIRIT, THE HOLY SPIRIT, MELCHIZEDEK, THE ANGEL OF THE LORD, THE ANGEL OF GOD, THE GLORY OF GOD, AND SO MUCH MORE.

When GOD spoke Face to face with Moses in the wilderness during Israel’s forty year journey to the Promised Land, at some point The LORD explained the Creation to Moses.  And GOD referred to Himself as ELOHIM, G-O-D-S IN THE CREATION CHAPTER OF GENESIS 1.

In fact, the Hebrew Word ELOHIM is written some 3,000 times in TNAKH, The Old Testament Scriptures for GOD that means G-O-D-S.  BECAUSE THE ONE GOD IS THE FATHER, THE MESSIAH, THE SPIRIT AND SO MUCH MORE.

ELOHIM spoke these Words to Moses.  And ELOHIM Said, Let US make man in OUR Image after OUR Likeness. GENESIS 1.26

ALTHOUGH GOD REFERS TO HIMSELF AS “US” AND “OUR” THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.  GOD IS THE FATHER, THE MESSIAH, THE SPIRIT, THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND MUCH MORE.  THUS GOD REFERS TO HIMSELF AS “US” AND “OUR.”   “LET “US” MAKE MAN IN “OUR” IMAGE AFTER “OUR” LIKENESS.”

The Bible says, Then The LORD rained upon Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from The LORD out of Heaven.

GOD ON EARTH AND GOD IN HEAVEN ARE BOTH THE SAME GOD.

The Psalmist writes, Your Throne O GOD is forever and ever.  The Scepter of Your Kingdom is a Right Scepter. You love Righteousness and hate wickedness. THEREFORE GOD, YOUR GOD has anointed You with the oil of gladness above your companions.

SINCE THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD, BOTH ARE THE SAME GOD.

And of course, it is often recorded in The Bible that Messiah Yeshua Speaks OF His Father in Heaven, and Messiah Yeshua Speaks TO His Father in Heaven.

THE FATHER IN HEAVEN AND MESSIAH YESHUA, AND THE SPIRIT ARE THE SAME ONE GOD.  THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE.  THAT IS BIBLICAL TEACHING BECAUSE THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.  JOHN 14.20-23

VERSE 23  “WE” in Messiah’s teaching is The ONE GOD. The Father and The Messiah Who are The Holy Spirit come into those who obey GOD, and Live in them.

THAT IS THE SIMPLE ANSWER.  BUT NOT SIMPLE TO US BECAUSE WE HUMAN BEINGS FIND THAT “IMPOSSIBLE FOR US.”  BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD BECAUSE GOD IS GOD.  THAT IS THE NATURE OF GOD.  GOD CAN PHYSICALLY BE IN MANY DIFFERENT PLACES AT THE SAME TIME BECAUSE HE IS GOD.  GOD IS EVERYWHERE. AND THE FATHER, AND MESSIAH YESHUA ARE THE HOLY SPIRIT.  ALL ARE ONE AND THE SAME GOD.

AFTER ALL, GOD FILLS HEAVEN AND EARTH WITH HIS SPIRIT.  JEREMIAH 23.24, GENESIS 19.24, HEBREW BIBLE PSALM 45.8, CHRISTIAN BIBLE PSALM 45.7

Look, What we know about GOD is the tip of the iceberg.  He tells us that in The Scriptures, in Torah, The Law of Moses. GOD Himself Says, The secret things belong to The LORD OUR GOD.  But those things which are revealed belong to us and our children forever that we should do the Words of this Law (The Law Of Moses).  DEUTERONOMY 29.29 

When you set your mind to fully obey GOD and His Law of Moses, which has all GOD’S Laws, Teachings and Instructions written in it in the first five Books of The Bible, GOD will give you Knowledge, Belief and Understanding THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS BESIDE HIM.  AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THAT MESSIAH YESHUA IS GOD ALMIGHTY, THE FATHER, THE SPIRIT, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT AND SO VERY MUCH MORE.

And you will believe Messiah Yeshua when He says in The New Testament that HE IS THE FATHER because it is first taught in The Old Testament Scriptures that The Messiah is The Everlasting Father and fulfilled in The New Testament.  HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6, HEBREW BIBLE MICAH 5.1, CHRISTIAN BIBLE MICAH 5.2, JOHN 12.45, 49, JOHN 14.9

AND YOU WILL RECOGNIZE THE TRINITY OF ONE GOD BEING THREE DIFFERENT gods FOR WHAT IT IS. WRONG AND PAGAN.

GOD was with Adam, and Eve, and satan in the Garden of Eden.  Yet the same GOD ELOHIM was in Heaven.  GOD was with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, even a pagan prophet Balaam, and so many others.  And yet the SAME GOD WAS ALSO IN HEAVEN.  That ONE AND THE SAME GOD IS MESSIAH YESHUA.  JOHN 8.55-58

GOD was with Moses Face to face for forty years in the wilderness.  And GOD was also with the seventy Elders of Israel in Mount Sinai.  Yet the same GOD was in Heaven.

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD, GOD ALMIGHTY, YESHUA THE MESSIAH.

Whether you can understand that or not does not change Who GOD is.  GOD is GOD.  And GOD can do anything.  GOD can be in multiple places physically at the same time because He Is GOD.

GOD said, Is anything too hard for The LORD?  The answer is No.  Messiah said, But with GOD all things are possible.  The Psalmist wrote, But our GOD is in the Heavens.  He has done whatsoever He has pleased. David writes, If I ascend up into Heaven, You are there.  If I make my bed in hell, You are there.  The Prophet Jeremiah wrote, Ah LORD GOD.  Behold You have made the Heavens and the earth by Your Great Power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for You. And The LORD said, BEHOLD, I AM THE LORD GOD OF ALL FLESH.  IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR ME? The answer? NO.  Messiah Yeshua said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with GOD. GENESIS 18.14, PSALM 115.3, PSALM 139.8, JEREMIAH 32.17, 27, MATTHEW 19.26, LUKE 18.27

YESHUA THE MESSIAH IS NOT ANOTHER GOD.  HE IS GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM ELOHIM THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH.

WE ARE TAUGHT BY THE PROPHET MICAH WHO WRITES, “BUT YOU BETHLEHEM EPHRATAH, THOUGH YOU ARE LITTLE AMONG THE THOUSANDS OF JUDAH, YET OUT OF YOU SHALL HE COME FORTH UNTO ME THAT IS TO BE RULER IN ISRAEL WHOSE GOINGS FORTH (HIS ORIGIN) HAS BEEN FROM OF OLD, FROM EVERLASTING.”

THE ORIGIN OF THE ONE BORN IN BETHLEHEM EPHRATAH WHO HAS NO BEGINNING AND NO END IS GOD ALMIGHTY, WHO IS YESHUA THE MESSIAH. HEBREW BIBLE MICAH 5.1, CHRISTIAN BIBLE MICAH 5.2, GENESIS 35.19

YESHUA IS THE SON OF GOD, BUT HE IS ALSO GOD ALMIGHTY THE FATHER.  HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6

YESHUA IS THE JEWISH MESSIAH, BUT HE IS ALSO THE FATHER, HA SHEM ELOHIM GOD ALMIGHTY.

YESHUA SPEAKS TO THE FATHER, AND THE FATHER SPEAKS TO THE MESSIAH.  BUT THEY ARE BOTH THE SAME GOD, AND THE ONE GOD.

How do I know that Messiah Yeshua and The Father are both the same GOD, THE ONE GOD?  BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES. 

SO IN CONCLUSION, THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD, AND NOT A TRINITY OF THREE DIFFERENT gods.

Our teaching will continue from Torah, The Law of Moses from Numbers 28.16-25

AND THE TITLE OF OUR MESSAGE IS, THE HISTORY OF PASSOVER.

And with that said, let’s read Numbers 28.16-25

Passover is a seven day Festival of The LORD.  Although Judaism has made Passover an eight day Jewish Holiday in the Diaspora.  The Diaspora is the Dispersion of all Jewish People living outside of Israel.  However Passover is a seven day Festival in Israel according to GOD’S Commandment in Numbers 28.16-17, LEVITICUS 23.5-6

The first day of The LORD’S Passover is on the evening of the 14th day of the Hebrew month Nisan.  This year the evening of Passover falls on Monday at sundown, April 10th. And the Seventh Day of The LORD’S Passover is Monday April 17th.

The first and seventh days of Passover are Sabbaths.  No work is to be done on either day.

Also the first and seventh days of Passover are Holy Convocations.  Holy Convocation means that the first and seventh days of Passover are Sacred Occasions Dedicated to The LORD GOD.  A time set apart for The LORD for a gathering of the People for a Service.  LEVITICUS 23.5-8

Leavened bread is replaced with matzah which is unleavened bread.  GOD does not allow leavened products to be eaten during the seven days of Passover.  No leaven is to be anywhere in your house.

A number of animal sacrifices were made during the seven days of Passover in Tabernacle and Temple times.

The burnt offering was for a sweet aroma to The LORD.

And the grain offering, or as some Bibles call the grain offering, a meal offering or meat offering was also for a sweet aroma to The LORD.  And the sin offering was for atonement for the People.  NUMBERS 28.16-18, 22, 25, EXODUS 29.18, LEVITICUS 2.1-2

Besides the sacrifices for every Festival of The LORD, The LORD also required the daily sacrifice in the morning and evening that made atonement for the People for the forgiveness of their sins.  LEVITICUS 23, NUMBERS 28.1-4

Sin is disobeying the Spoken Word of GOD in The Bible.

And sin is disobeying The Law of Moses.  That never changes.  1 JOHN 3.4

THE NEW COVENANT WRITTEN IN JEREMIAH 31.31-34 REPLACES THE ANIMAL SACRIFICE, INCLUDING THE ANIMAL SACRIFICE FOR ATONEMENT.

THE NEW COVENANT THAT GOD MADE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND ALL MANKIND PUTS GOD’S LAW OF MOSES IN YOUR INWARD PARTS, AND WRITES IT IN YOUR HEART (TO OBEY) FOR GOD TO BE YOUR GOD, AND YOU SHALL BE HIS PEOPLE. AND GOD WILL FORGIVE YOUR INIQUITY AND REMEMBER YOUR SIN NEW MORE.   

THE NEW COVENANT IS THE JEWISH MESSIAH YESHUA WHOSE DEATH 2,000 YEARS AGO AND HIS SHED BLOOD WAS MADE FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE FOR THE ATONEMENT OF HIS JEWISH PEOPLE AND ALL MANKIND.  LEVITICUS 17.8-9, HEBREWS 8.8-12, HEBREWS 10.16-17

HOWEVER, BELIEF IN THE NEW COVENANT MESSIAH YESHUA MUST BE FOLLOWED BY OBEDIENCE TO GOD. OBEDIENCE TO EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD, AND THAT INCLUDES ALL GOD’S LAWS THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE LAW OF MOSES. THEN YOUR ATONEMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE LORD.  YOUR SINS WILL BE FORGIVEN.  IT IS WRITTEN. ISAIAH 56.6-7, MATTHEW 4.4, LUKE 4.4

MESSIAH YESHUA NEVER CAME TO ABOLISH THE LAW OF MOSES.  THAT IS A LIE.  MESSIAH YESHUA IS GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM ELOHIM.  AND GOD NEVER CHANGES.  HIS WORD AND LAWS NEVER END.  MALACHI 3.6, ISAIAH 40.8, JOHN 14.9, HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6

TODAY, MESSIAH YESHUA’S ATONEMENT IS THE ONLY ATONEMENT AVAILABLE TO ALL MANKIND.  JEWISH AND NON-JEWISH PEOPLE.

THERE ARE NO OTHER ALTERNATIVES FOR ATONEMENT SUCH AS THE PAYMENT OF COMPENSATION FOR WRONG COMMITTED, OR THROUGH SUFFERING, OR THROUGH THE PERFORMANCE OF CERTAIN RITUALS, EVEN WITH ACCOMPANYING REPENTANCE AND THE RECTIFICATION OR MAKING RIGHT ONE’S WAY OF LIFE.

FOR IT IS WRITTEN IN TORAH, THE LAW OF MOSES IN LEVITICUS 17.11, “FOR IT IS THE BLOOD THAT MAKES ATONEMENT FOR THE SOUL.”

TODAY, WITHOUT THE ANIMAL SACRIFICE, THE BLOOD THAT MAKES ATONEMENT FOR YOUR SOUL IS THE BLOOD OF THE JEWISH MESSIAH YESHUA.

THE JEWISH MESSIAH CAME 2,000 YEARS AGO FOR ONE PURPOSE.  TO GIVE HIS LIFE FOR OUR ATONEMENT, TO FORGIVE US OUR SINS.

WHY IS ATONEMENT SO IMPORTANT?  BECAUSE GOD SAID TO MOSES, WHOSOEVER HAS SINNED AGAINST ME, HIM WILL I BLOT OUT OF MY BOOK.  GOD’S BOOK IS THE BOOK OF LIFE.  AND THOSE INSCRIBED IN GOD’S BOOK OF LIFE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN.  AND SIN IS BREAKING THE LAW OF MOSES.  EXODUS 32.33, NUMBERS 5.6, 1 JOHN 3.4, MATTHEW 26.26, REVELATION 20.15

One more thing about the sacrificed animals in Tabernacle and Temple times.  Often the perfect animal sacrifice was made to be a Sweet Savor, or Sweet Aroma to The LORD. Messiah Yeshua’s Atoning death was like a sweet aroma, Pleasing to The LORD.  For it is written in Isaiah 53.10, Yet it Pleased The LORD to afflict Him and put Him to grief when You (LORD) shall make His Soul an offering for sin.

LET’S LOOK INTO THE HISTORY OF PASSOVER.

Some two thousand years after the Creation, GOD took Abram, whose name He changed to Abraham years later, out from the Gentiles.

And GOD also took Sarai whom GOD later called Sarah out from the Gentiles to be Abraham’s wife.  They are the father and mother, the founders of the Jewish People.

Although GOD created the Jewish People for Himself. DEUTERONOMY 7.6, ISAIAH 43.10

The Jewish People were first called Hebrews, and the Children of Israel, and then called Jewish when they returned to Judah in the Land of Israel from the Babylonian exile in 516 B.C.E., B.C.

Jewish in Hebrew is Yehudi meaning PRAISER OF GOD.

Abraham was born in Ur of the Chaldees which today would be at the mouth of the Persian Gulf in today’s Iraq.

Terah, Abraham’s father, worshiped other gods, as many Gentiles today worship other gods.  See the doctrine of the trinity of three distinct and different gods.  JOSHUA 24.2

BUT ABRAHAM WORSHIPED ONLY ONE GOD.  AND PERHAPS IT WAS MELCHIZEDEK, THE LORD GOD HIMSELF, WHO SAID TO ABRAHAM, BLESSED BE GOD MOST HIGH.

MELCHIZEDEK SPOKE OF ONE GOD.  GENESIS 14.18-22, GENESIS 15.6, GENESIS 17.8, HEBREWS 7.1-3

AND ABRAHAM SAID TO THE KING OF SODOM, I HAVE LIFTED UP MY HAND TO THE LORD GOD MOST HIGH, THE POSSESSOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH.

WHEN THE BIBLE SAYS, “THE” LORD GOD MOST HIGH, THE BIBLE IS SPEAKING OF ONLY ONE GOD.  AND THAT ONE GOD IS MESSIAH YESHUA, POSSESSOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH.

At the age of seventy-five, The LORD told Abram to leave Haran, the Country Abram, his wife and family were living in.  And go to a Land that I will show you.  And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great.  And you shall be a blessing.  And I will bless those who bless you, and curse him that curses you.

The word “you” as in, I will bless them who bless “you” and curse him that curses “you” means that GOD will bless those who bless Abraham and the House of Abraham.  The House of Abraham are The Jewish People.  And GOD will curse those who curse Abraham and the House of Abraham, The Jewish People.

And GOD said, In “you” shall all the families of the earth be blessed.  GENESIS 12.1-5

THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH ARE BLESSED IN ABRAHAM AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE WHEN THEY BELIEVE IN THE JEWISH MESSIAH YESHUA FOR ATONEMENT, AND LIVE THEIR LIVES ACCORDING TO EVERY WORD GOD SPOKE TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE.  THAT INCLUDES ALL GOD’S LAWS THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE LAW OF MOSES.

THAT IS GOD’S FORMULA FOR ETERNAL LIFE. MATTHEW 4.4

So Abram left Haran, north of the Euphrates River, with his wife Sarai, and his nephew Lot, and all that they owned. And they went to the Land of Canaan, which today is Israel.

After these things, The Bible says, The Word of The LORD came to Abram in a vision, Saying, Abram, I am your shield and very great reward.  And Abram believed in The LORD and GOD counted it for Righteousness.

And GOD said, Know for sure that your descendants shall be strangers in a Land that is not theirs.  And shall serve them, and they shall afflict them four hundred years.

GOD was prophesying of four hundred years of Jewish slavery in Egypt that brought on the first Passover.

And also that nation whom they shall serve, I will judge.

And afterward they shall come out with great riches.

And you shall go to your fathers in peace.  You shall be buried in a good old age.

But after the four hundred years of slavery they shall come here to the land of Canaan again.  For the iniquity of the Amorites (who were the Canaanites) is not yet complete.

And in the same day, The LORD made a Covenant with Abram saying, Unto your Descendants (The Jewish People) I have given this Land from the River of Egypt, to the great river, the Euphrates River, the Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaim, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.  GENESIS 15

And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, The LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, I AM THE ALMIGHTY GOD.  Walk before Me and be perfect.  And Abram fell on his face, and GOD talked with him saying, My Covenant is with you, and you shall be the father of many nations.  No longer shall your name be Abram but Abraham for a father of many nations have I made you.

And I will establish My Covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you (The Jewish People) for an Everlasting Covenant to be GOD to you and to your descendants after you.  And I will give to you, and to your descendants after you the Land wherein you are a stranger. All the land of Canaan for an Everlasting Possession.  And I will be their GOD.

The Land of Canaan GOD renamed Israel. GENESIS 17, GENESIS 21.12

Isaac was born from Abraham and Sarah when Abraham was one hundred years old, and Sarah was ninety.  GENESIS 17.17, GENESIS 21.5

When Abraham was old and well stricken in age, The Bible says, And The LORD had blessed Abraham in all things, Abraham said to his eldest servant who ruled over all that he had, I will make you swear by The LORD, The GOD of Heaven and The GOD of the earth that you will not take a wife for my son Isaac from the daughters of the Canaanites among whom I dwell.

But you shall go to my country to my family and take a wife for my son Issac.

And his servant said, Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me to this Land.  Must I bring your son again to the Land from where you came?

And Abraham said to him, Beware that you do not bring my son there again.  The LORD GOD of Heaven, which took me from my father’s house and from the land of my kindred, and Who Spoke to me, and Who Swore to me, saying, Unto your descendants will I give this Land.

The LORD shall send His Angel before you and you shall take a wife for my son from there.

And Abraham’s servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed and all the goods of his master were in his hand.

And he went to Mesopotamia, current-day Iraq and Syria, to the city of Nahor.  And he made his camels to kneel down outside the City by a well of water at the time of the evening when the women go to draw water.

And he prayed, O LORD GOD of my master Abraham, I pray Thee, give me good fortune this day and show kindness to my master Abraham.

Behold, I stand here by the well of water, and the daughters of the men of the city come to draw water.

And let it come to pass that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down your pitcher, please, that I may drink.  And she shall say, Drink, and I will give your camels water also.

Let her be she that You have appointed for your servant Isaac.  And then I will know that You have shown kindness to my master.

And it happened before he finished praying that Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, the son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.

And the damsel was beautiful, a virgin, neither had any man known her.

And she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.  And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Please, Let me drink a little water from your pitcher. And she said, Drink, my lord, and she quickly let down her pitcher and gave him water to drink.  And when she was done giving him water to drink, she said, I will draw water for your camels also until they are done drinking.

The man, meanwhile, stood gazing at her, silently wondering whether The LORD had made his errand successful or not.

And when the camels had finished drinking, the man took a golden earring, and two gold bracelets for her arms, and he said, please, tell me whose daughter are you?  And she replied, I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah whom she bore to Nahor.

And the man bowed low to worship The LORD, and said, Blessed be The LORD, The GOD of my master Abraham who has not withheld His mercy and truth from my master.  For I have been guided on my errand by The LORD to the house of my master’s kinsmen.

And Rebekah’s family sent her away, and her nurse, with Abraham’s servant.

And Isaac went out into the field and looked up and saw the camels coming.  And Rebekah looked, and when she saw Isaac, she came down from the camel, for she said to the servant, What man is this that walks in the field to meet us?

And the servant said, it is my master Isaac.  And Rebekah took a veil and covered herself.

And the servant told Isaac all that he had done.

And Isaac brought Rebekah into his mother Sarah’s tent. And took Rebekah, and she became his wife.  And he loved her.  And Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death. GENESIS 24

And Isaac’s wife Rebekah gave birth to Esau and Jacob.  And from Jacob and his wives, twelve sons were born who became the fathers of the twelve tribes of Israel.  Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin, and a daughter Dinah.

And Jacob dwelled in the Land of Canaan where his fathers Abraham and Isaac were strangers, which today is the Land of Israel.

And the Hand of GOD was at work again.

Because Jacob’s sons were jealous of Joseph, Jacob’s second youngest of his children, and they hated him, his brothers sought to kill Joseph and toss him into a pit.  But the oldest brother Reuben said, let’s not kill him but just toss him into a pit.  Reuben thinking he will save Joseph and bring him back to his father Jacob.

And when Joseph came to them in the field, they took hold of him and stripped him of his coat of many colors, and tossed Joseph into a pit that was empty without water.  And they sat down to eat.

In the meantime, a caravan of Midianite merchant men came and pulled Joseph out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty pieces of silver.  And the Ishmaelites brought Joseph down to Egypt and sold him there.  And of course when Reuben and the brothers returned to the pit, their brother Joseph was gone.  And Reuben rent his clothes. And their father Jacob was devastated.  GENESIS 37

And Joseph was sold to an Officer of Pharaoh whose wife set eyes on Joseph, but Joseph rejected her.  And the Officer’s wife had Joseph thrown into prison.  And while in prison, Joseph interpreted the dreams of two prisoners that came to pass.  GENESIS 40

And when Pharaoh had two dreams that troubled him, that none of his pagan magicians could interpret, it was told Pharaoh of Joseph who interpreted the dreams of two prisoners in jail.  And Joseph was quickly brought before Pharaoh to interpret his dreams which GOD had shown Joseph what The LORD was about to do.

Pharaoh’s dreams were about seven years of great abundance of food in Egypt to be followed by seven years of great famine in Egypt and the surrounding Countries including Canaan where Joseph’s family lived.

And Pharaoh made Joseph Governor of Egypt under Pharaoh to supervise the great abundance of food in Egypt and the famine.

Well, during the seven years of famine, Jacob sent his sons to Egypt to buy food.  And they came face to face with their brother Joseph, the same brother they wanted to kill.  But they did not recognize Joseph.  But Joseph recognized them.

And after a series of taunting mischief that Joseph put his brothers through, Joseph sold them food, revealed himself to them.  They hugged, and kissed. and cried.  And Joseph, with the approval of Pharaoh invited Jacob and the entire Jewish family of seventy to come down to Egypt and live in Goshen. Which they did.

After Joseph’s Pharaoh died, The Bible says, There arose up a new King over Egypt who did not know Joseph, as Joseph had died and all his brothers, and all that generation had died.

And the Egyptians put the Children of Israel under severe bondage for four hundred years as GOD Prophesied to Abraham.

And The Children of Israel grew in population to some three million people in Egypt fulfilling GOD’S Prophesy that He would make of Abraham a Great Nation.  GENESIS 15.13, GENESIS 12.2

And at the end of four hundred years of Jewish slavery, The LORD sent Moses to lead His People out of Egypt to the Promised Land on the first Passover that GOD created for the Deliverance of His People.

On the evening of the 14th day of the Hebrew Month Nisan, GOD commanded His Jewish People to take a perfect lamb for each house.

And the whole Assembly of the Congregation of Israel was to kill the lamb in the evening.  And take it’s blood and strike it on the doorposts of their homes where they ate the lamb with unleavened bread, and with bitter herbs.

THE LAMB, GOD SAID, IS THE LORD’S PASSOVER.

For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night and kill all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast. And against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment.  I AM THE LORD.

AND THE BLOOD SHALL BE TO YOU FOR A MIRACLE UPON THE HOUSES WHERE YOU ARE.  AND WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I WILL PASS OVER YOU AND THE PLAGUE WILL NOT BE UPON YOU TO DESTROY YOU WHEN I STRIKE THE LAND OF EGYPT.

And this day shall be to you for a Memorial, and you shall keep it a Feast to The LORD throughout your generations for an ordinance forever.

Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, that is matzah. The first day you shall put away leaven out of your houses. For whosoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day,  that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

And in the first day there shall be a Holy Convocation.  And in the seventh day there shall be a Holy Convocation.

No manner of work shall be done in the first and seventh days of Passover except that which everyone must eat.  That only may be done of you.

And the Children of Israel did as The LORD Commanded.

And it came to pass that at midnight The LORD killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt from the firstborn of Pharaoh to the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon.  And all the firstborn of the cattle.  And there was a great cry in Egypt for there was not a house where there was not one Egyptian dead.

AND THE EXODUS TO THE PROMISED LAND, THE LAND OF CANAAN, BEGAN WHICH THE LORD GOD NAMED THE LAND OF ISRAEL AFTER JACOB.

THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL WERE DELIVERED FROM EGYPT BY THE LORD THEIR GOD ON THE FIRST PASSOVER.

And as THE GOD OF ISRAEL had promised Abraham, The Children of Israel came out with great riches.  EXODUS 12, GENESIS 15.14

MESSIAH YESHUA, THE JEWISH MESSIAH IS ALSO OUR PERFECT PASSOVER LAMB BECAUSE HE GAVE HIS LIFE ON THE FIRST DAY OF PASSOVER 2,000 YEARS AGO, AND SHED HIS BLOOD TO DELIVER HIS PEOPLE FROM OUR SINS. MATTHEW 1.21
