Shalom.

Our Teaching from Torah, The Law of Moses will continue from Deuteronomy 5.1-7.

AND THE TITLE OF OUR MESSAGE IS, THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.  THEREFORE THE DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY IS POLYTHEISM.

And with that said, let’s read Deuteronomy 5.1-7

The Talmud refers to The Book of Deuteronomy as Mishneh Torah, commonly translated as, “Repetition or Review of The Torah.”  Or “Explanation of The Torah.”

The Torah, as you know, is The Law of Moses written in the first five Books of The Bible.

The Words of The Book of Deuteronomy were spoken by Moses to The Children of Israel during the last five weeks of his life.  Just prior to the battle, and Israel’s entrance into, and possession of The Promised Land, the Land of Canaan.

The Children of Israel walked from Egypt to Canaan in The Exodus through the great wilderness for forty years.  Leading the way was The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.  Some people rode in wagons drawn by horses.  Others rode on horses, camels, and donkeys to The Promised Land that GOD renamed The Land of Israel.

And Moses chose certain Laws to review and explain to The Children of Israel in The Book of Deuteronomy.

The Book of Deuteronomy is like The New Testament that does not review or explain the entire Law that GOD gave to Moses Face to face.  Those Laws of GOD are called The Law of Moses, or in Hebrew, The Torah.

AND ONE OF THOSE LAWS MOSES REVIEWED AND EXPLAINED IS THIS; THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS.

Although much of Judaism credits Abraham with the dramatic change from the worldwide belief in more than one God to the correct belief in ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS, The Biblical accounts of Moses, The Prophets, The Writings and The New Testament confirm, AS GOD TEACHES, THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS. 

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IN EXODUS 20.1-6, DEUTERONOMY 4.35, 39, PSALM 86.9-10, ISAIAH 44.6,8, MARK 12.28-29. 

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.  NOT A TRINITY OF THREE gods.

AND GOD ALMIGHTY, THE MESSIAH YESHUA, TEACHES US THAT THE ONE GOD OF CREATION IS THE SAVIOR.  ISAIAH 43.10,11, ACTS 5.29-32, TITUS 3.6, 2 PETER 1.11, JUDE 25 

OUR LORD AND SAVIOR IS GOD ALMIGHTY, YESHUA THE MESSIAH, THE ONE GOD OF CREATION. 

THE TEACHING THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS IS TAUGHT IN BOTH THE OLD TESTAMENT (TNAKH) AND THE NEW TESTAMENT, AS BOTH ARE ONE BIBLE AND NOT TWO SEPARATE AND DIFFERENT BIBLES.

FACT.  BOTH THE OLD AND THE NEW TESTAMENT HAVE TORAH, THE LAW OF MOSES FOR IT’S FOUNDATION.

DEUTERONOMY 6.4, MARK 12.29, MATTHEW 4.4, MATTHEW 7.21-23, LUKE 4.4, ROMANS 2.13, ROMANS 3.31, ISAIAH 40.8

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE OLD TESTAMENT (TNAKH) AND THE NEW TESTAMENT IS THE COMING OF THE JEWISH MESSIAH YESHUA IN THE NEW TESTAMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF GIVING HIS LIFE AND SHEDDING HIS BLOOD TO MAKE ATONEMENT FOR THE JEWISH PEOPLE AND ALL MANKIND.

AS YOU WELL KNOW, THE ANIMAL SACRIFICE WAS GOD’S LAW FOR ATONEMENT IN THE OLD TESTAMENT (TNAKH) FOLLOWED BY OBEDIENCE TO TORAH, THE LAW OF MOSES WHEN THERE IS A TEMPLE STANDING IN JERUSALEM.  THAT WAS GOD’S FORMULA FOR SALVATION THAT LED TO ETERNAL LIFE.

WHILE GOD’S LAW FOR ATONEMENT IN THE NEW TESTAMENT, AFTER THE TEMPLE WAS DESTROYED IN 70 C.E./A.D., IS THE SACRIFICIAL DEATH AND SHED BLOOD OF THE JEWISH MESSIAH YESHUA, FOLLOWED BY OBEDIENCE TO TORAH, GOD’S LAW OF MOSES.  THAT IS GOD’S FORMULA TODAY FOR SALVATION THAT LEADS TO ETERNAL LIFE.

LEVITICUS 17.8,9,11, DEUTERONOMY 5.1, ISAIAH 40.8, ISAIAH 52.13-15, ISAIAH 53.1-12, ROMANS 2.13, ROMANS 3.31, JAMES 1.25, 1 JOHN 3.4, JEREMIAH 31.31-34, HEBREWS 8.8-12, HEBREWS 10.16-17

However the sacrificial system will be reinstated in The Millennial Period in Israel when Messiah returns, and reigns over all the earth, and The Temple is rebuilt.  EZEKIEL 45.15-17, ZECHARIAH 14.21

THE DOCTRINE OF ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS NEVER CHANGES BECAUSE THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS BESIDE GOD.  THAT IS SPOKEN FROM THE LIPS OF GOD.  ISAIAH 46.9

A PROPHET IS ONE WHO RECEIVES THE WORD FROM GOD, AND THEN REVEALS GOD’S WORD TO THE PEOPLE, AS WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE.

THE BIBLICAL TEACHING OF ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS MAKES THE DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY OF THREE DIFFERENT GODS POLYTHEISM.

Polytheism is the doctrine or belief in more than one god, or many gods.

The trinity teaches three different and distinct gods.  And that is polytheism.  The trinity teaches that the Father is a god, the Son is a different god, and the Spirit is yet a different god.  That is polytheism, the belief in three gods, or the belief in many gods.

In our study verses of Deuteronomy 5.1-7, Moses called all Israel together and said to them, “Hear O Israel.”  In Hebrew, Sh’mah Y’Israel, Hear, Listen, and Obey, Israel, The Statutes and Judgments that I speak to you in your ears this day to learn them, and keep them, and do them.

“The LORD OUR GOD”, Moses said, “made a Covenant with us in Horeb”.  (Horeb is Mount Sinai).  The Covenant Moses is speaking about is The Ten Commandments that GOD gave to Israel for The Jewish People and all mankind.  ISAIAH 43.10-11

And Moses continued, “The LORD did not make this Covenant with our fathers, but with us who are all of us alive this day.

The LORD talked with you Face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire.

And I stood between The LORD and you at that time to show you The Word of The LORD.  And you were afraid because of the fire.  And you did not go up into the mountain.

AND THE LORD SAID, I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD WHO BROUGHT YOU OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT FROM THE HOUSE OF BONDAGE.

YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER gods BEFORE ME.”

BELIEVING GOD, AND BELIEVING EVERY WORD THAT GOD SPEAKS IN THE BIBLE IS CRITICAL.

AND BELIEVING THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS IS VERY CRITICAL.  NUMBERS 20.12, DEUTERONOMY 8.3, MATTHEW 4.4, LUKE 4.4

I believe that GOD had Moses review GOD’S Laws, Teachings, and Instructions that are written in The Law of Moses because The Children of Israel were surrounded by heathen in Egypt, Edom, Moab, Ammon, Canaan, and other countries where those people lived their lives believing in many gods.  They lived in idolatry, never living by The Words that GOD spoke to Adam and Eve, or Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Moses and The Prophets.

Rather the heathen around them lived by the teachings of man.

Today, very few live by The Biblical Teachings of GOD ALMIGHTY.

The nations live by the word of man.  And we are living in those nations that disobey GOD.

Israel by far is closer to GOD and His Word than all the other nations.  But Israel and The Jewish People could draw much closer to their GOD, THE MIGHTY GOD OF ISRAEL.

AND THE TIME WILL COME WHEN THE JEWISH PEOPLE WILL RECEIVE THEIR GOD AND MESSIAH, MESSIAH YESHUA.  ZECHARIAH 12.10

Therefore we must be reminded continually of GOD’S Teachings as GOD Teaches us in The Bible, lest we fall away from The LORD.

You can read throughout The Bible that GOD often repeats and reviews His Word, His Laws, His Teachings, and Instructions.  Because we are surrounded by, and live in nations that change GOD’S Word, and often corrupt GOD’S Word that is a detriment to those who follow man and not GOD.

For example;

Much of the world believes in a trinity of three different gods even though The Bible repeats itself numerous times that there is ONLY ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS.

And in certain Bibles, the translator or translators change The Word of GOD at times to conform to, or follow man’s false teachings, rather than the truth of GOD’S Teachings as Spoken by GOD in The Bible.  2 CORINTHIANS 2.17

ALL BIBLES ARE WRITTEN BY A TRANSLATOR, OR A GROUP OF TRANSLATORS.  HOWEVER THE TEACHINGS OF THE BIBLE MUST ALWAYS FOLLOW AND COMPLY WITH TORAH, THE LAW OF MOSES.  ISAIAH 40.8, 1 PETER 1.23-25.

FOR EXAMPLE JOHN 1.1, CERTAIN COMMENTATORS TEACH THAT THE WORD IS MESSIAH/CHRIST.  AND THAT IS CORRECT. 

BUT THEY ALSO TEACH THAT THE WORD (MESSIAH/CHRIST) IS WITH GOD.  THAT MESSIAH/CHRIST IS IN “COMMUNION” (SHARING) WITH GOD, BUT “DISTINCT” FROM GOD.

WEBSTER’S DICTIONARY DESCRIBES THE WORD “DISTINCT” AS, NOT BEING THE SAME, SEPARATE, AND DIFFERENT.

THEREFORE THAT FALSE TEACHING THAT YESHUA IS GOD BUT “DISTINCT, DIFFERENT AND SEPARATE” FROM GOD IS POLYTHEISM, THE BELIEF IN MORE THAN ONE GOD.

THE YESHUA THE MESSIAH/ JESUS CHRIST OF THE BIBLE IS GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM ELOHIM, THE ONE GOD OF CREATION.

HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6, JOHN 12.45,49, JOHN 14.9

JOHN 1.2 READS, THE SAME WAS IN THE BEGINNING WITH GOD. 

BUT SOME COMMENTATORS FALSELY TEACH THAT MESSIAH WAS ALREADY IN EXISTENCE WITH GOD.

THAT IS WRONG BECAUSE THE MESSIAH YESHUA/JESUS CHRIST OF THE BIBLE IS GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM ELOHIM, THE FATHER, AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN EXISTENCE.

THE READER OF THE BIBLE MUST ALWAYS BELIEVE THE SPOKEN WORD OF GOD IN THE BIBLE.  BECAUSE GOD TEACHES, THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS.

FOR EXAMPLE, MESSIAH, WHO IS GOD ALMIGHTY, SAYS, HE THAT HAS SEEN ME HAS SEEN THE FATHER.  JOHN 14.9, DEUTERONOMY 6.4, MARK 12.29

WE MUST BELIEVE WHAT GOD SAYS.  THE JESUS OF THE BIBLE IS GOD THE FATHER, THE ONE GOD OF CREATION.

WE MUST BELIEVE MESSIAH WHEN HE SAYS, HE THAT SEES ME SEES HIM THAT SENT ME.  FOR I HAVE NOT SPOKEN OF MYSELF BUT THE FATHER THAT SENT ME.  JOHN 12.45, 49

THE MESSIAH/JESUS OF THE BIBLE IS GOD THE FATHER.

YESHUA THE MESSIAH/JESUS CHRIST IN THE NEW TESTAMENT IS PROPHESIED IN TNAKH, THE OLD TESTAMENT.  AND WE MUST ALWAYS BELIEVE THE WORD THAT GOD SPEAKS IN THE BIBLE, ALWAYS.

ELOHIM, WHEN SPEAKING OF THE GOD OF ISRAEL IS GOD ALMIGHTY, MESSIAH YESHUA.

ISAIAH PROPHESIES THAT THE CHILD BORN TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE, THE SON GIVEN TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE IS THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, THE PRINCE OF PEACE. 

HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6, DEUTERONOMY 32.39, MATTHEW 1.1-21

THAT PROPHESIED CHILD, THE SON BORN TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE IS THE MESSIAH YESHUA, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, THE PRINCE OF PEACE.

THE PROPHET MICAH PROPHESIES THAT THE ONE BORN IN BETHLEHEM WHO IS TO BE RULER IN ISRAEL, WHO HAS NO BEGINNING AND NO END IS THE MESSIAH YESHUA, GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM ELOHIM, THE MESSIAH YESHUA/JESUS CHRIST OF THE NEW TESTAMENT.

HEBREW BIBLE MICAH 5.1, CHRISTIAN BIBLE MICAH 5.2, ISAIAH 45.5-7,14,15,18

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND THAT ONE GOD, HA SHEM ELOHIM, IS THE FATHER, THE SON, THE MESSIAH YESHUA/JESUS CHRIST, THE SPIRIT, THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND SO MUCH MORE.  HE IS ELOHIM.  THE ONE GOD OF CREATION WHO IS THE “US” WHO MADE MAN IN “OUR” IMAGE.  GENESIS 1.26

THE SAME ONE GOD, THE SAME ELOHIM, “US”, WHO WENT DOWN TO CONFUSE THEIR LANGUAGE.  GENESIS 11.7

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.  NOT THREE

LET’S LOOK AT JOHN 1.3.  ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM.  AND WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT ANYTHING MADE THAT WAS MADE.

SOME COMMENTATORS TEACH THAT MESSIAH/CHRIST WAS “ACTIVE IN THE WORK OF CREATION.”

THAT IS FOOLISHNESS.  MESSIAH WAS NOT “ACTIVE IN THE WORK OF THE CREATION.”  MESSIAH/CHRIST ALONE CREATED ALL THINGS BECAUSE HE IS ELOHIM, GOD ALMIGHTY.  ISAIAH 44.24, JOHN 1.3 

MESSIAH IS GOD ALMIGHTY WHO ALONE STRETCHED OUT THE HEAVENS, AND SPREAD OUT THE EARTH.

ONE MORE THING.  MESSIAH IS NOT “EQUAL” WITH GOD.  MESSIAH IS GOD.

JOHN 5.18  THE CORRECT READING IS, HE SAID THAT GOD WAS HIS FATHER, MAKING HIMSELF GOD.

PHILIPPIANS 2.6-7  CORRECTLY SAID, WHO BEING IN THE FORM OF GOD, CONSIDERED IT NOT ROBBERY TO BE GOD.  BUT MADE HIMSELF OF NO REPUTATION, AND TOOK UPON HIMSELF THE FORM OF A SERVANT, AND MADE HIMSELF IN THE LIKENESS OF MEN.  GENESIS 1.26

TO BELIEVE AND UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NOT A TRINITY OF THREE DIFFERENT gods, BEGINS BY FIRST BELIEVING GOD WHEN HE SAYS, THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS.

THEN GOD WILL GIVE YOU UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.  THAT YESHUA THE MESSIAH / THE JESUS CHRIST OF THE BIBLE IS THAT ONE GOD, THE WORD, WHO ALONE MADE ALL THINGS.

AND YES, GOD SPEAKS TO GOD, JOHN 17, YET THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD. AND GOD CAN BE IN MANY PLACES PHYSICALLY ALL AT THE SAME TIME.  BECAUSE GOD IS GOD, AND NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD.  GENESIS 18.14, MATTHEW 19.26

Our Teaching will continue in Torah, The Law of Moses, from Deuteronomy 4.41-49.

AND THE TITLE OF OUR MESSAGE IS, GOD’S LAWS FOR THOSE INNOCENT OF MURDER, AND THOSE GUILTY OF MURDER.

And with that said, let’s read Deuteronomy 4.41-49.

The time of this reading is just prior to Israel’s battle and victory over the Canaanites to take and possess the Land of Canaan for The Jewish Homeland that became The Land of Israel.  The Land that GOD gave The Jewish People for an everlasting possession.  GENESIS 17.8

The borders of Israel that The Jewish People conquered from the Canaanites are from a River in Egypt to the Euphrates River that flows through Syria and Iraq.  GENESIS 15.18-21

But after three exiles, and many occupations by foreign powers, and the return to Israel of The Jewish People after World War 2 in 1945, Israel today is but a small portion of The Land that GOD has given to The Jewish People.

But The Land of Israel will return to its GOD-given borders when The Messiah Yeshua returns and establishes His Messianic Kingdom in Israel for one thousand years where Messiah will reign over all the earth.  ZECHARIAH 14

So, returning to our Study, Moses told The People, some three million strong, that at GOD’S Command, he had set aside three cities in their future Homeland for the killer who killed a person accidentally to escape to so he could live.

Those three cities were “beyond the Jordan”.  Beyond the Jordan (River) is in current-day Jordan, in the land areas of The Tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh.

When Israel possessed the Land of Canaan, three additional cities of refuge were established in The Homeland.

So, let’s look at GOD’S Laws for those who killed a person but were innocent of murder, and those who killed someone and were guilty of murder.

These are Laws established by The GOD of The Universe that should be accepted and made Law throughout the world because they are GOD’S Laws.  NUMBERS 35

NUMBERS 35.9-11 A city of refuge was for shelter and protection for the person who killed someone accidentally.

NUMBERS 35.12  The cities of refuge protected the person who killed someone accidentally from the avenger.  The avenger is one who demands satisfaction for a crime.  In this case, murder.

But the killer who claimed he killed someone accidentally was required to stand trial before The Congregation in judgment.

And I’m assuming that a group of people from The Congregation passed judgment after hearing the evidence.  The judgment?  Is the person guilty of murder or not?

NUMBERS 35.13-15  GOD had Moses choose six cities of refuge in The Homeland for everybody in Israel.  For The Children of Israel, The Stranger, that is the non-Jewish person, and the one who was visiting Israel.  Anyone that killed a person accidentally was allowed by GOD’S Law to escape to one of those six cities of refuge.  There they would stand trial, and judgment was passed.

And here are GOD’S Laws for the person who is innocent of murder, and the person found guilty of murder that all nations should follow.

GOD says, Bloodshed defiles The Land, and The Land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed but by the blood of him that shed it.  NUMBERS 35.33 

Killing pollutes the land.  Therefore, the murderer must be put to death, The LORD GOD Decrees.

NUMBERS 35.16  If the killer struck the person with an iron instrument, and the person dies, that person is a murderer and shall surely be put to death, The LORD GOD Commands.

NUMBERS 35.17-18  If a person kills another by throwing a stone, he is a murderer and the murderer shall surely be put to death, The LORD Commands.

Or if a person strikes another person with a hand weapon of wood and he dies, he is a murderer and shall surely be put to death.  It is Law.

NUMBERS 35.19  The revenger of blood himself, that is to say, the one who demanded the death penalty for the bloodshed, who usually was a close relative, was Commanded by The LORD to kill the murderer upon meeting him.

NUMBERS 35.20-21  But if a person shoves another out of hatred, or intentionally throws something at a person by lying in wait, causing his death, or because of hatred hits a person with his hand that the person dies, he that hit the individual shall surely be put to death, The LORD says, For he is a murderer.  And the revenger of blood must kill the murderer upon meeting him.

NUMBERS 35.22-25  But if the person pushed another unexpectedly without hatred, or throws something at him unintentionally without lying in wait, or throws a stone, and the person dies when he did not see that person, and was not his enemy, nor sought his harm, then The Congregation must judge between the killer and the revenger of blood who brought the accusations against the killer, according to these judgments of GOD.

And The Congregation must free the innocent killer from the revenger of blood and return him to the city of refuge where he fled.  And there he must remain until the death of The High Priest who was anointed with The Holy Oil, says The LORD.

The Congregation must judge according to GOD’S Judgments as described by The LORD GOD in His Law.

These Laws for murder are part of Torah, The Law of Moses.

NUMBERS 35.26-28  But if the innocent slayer goes outside the border of the city of refuge where he fled for protection at any time before The High Priest dies, and the revenger of blood finds him outside the borders of the city of his refuge, and the revenger of blood kills that innocent slayer, the revenger of blood is not guilty of blood.  Because the innocent slayer disobeyed GOD’S Law and should have remained in the city of refuge until the death of The High Priest.

But again, after the death of The High Priest the innocent slayer is allowed to return to his own city.

NUMBERS 35.29  These Laws of Judgment are forever, says The LORD.

NUMBERS 35.30  Whosoever kills any person, the murderer must be put to death by the mouth of witnesses.  But one witness is not sufficient to cause any person to die, The LORD GOD says.  Meaning, two or more witnesses are required to sentence the murderer to death.

The Bible says, Because sentence against an evil work, such as murder, is not executed speedily, people are encouraged to do evil.  ECCLESIASTES 8.11

NUMBERS 35.31  Moreover, The LORD says, You shall not take any satisfaction, that is, you shall not take a bribe for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death.  But that person must surely be put to death.

NUMBERS 35.32  Also, you shall not take a bribe that would allow the innocent person to flee from his city of refuge to his own city before the death of The High Priest.

NUMBERS 35.33  So you shall not pollute the Land where you live.  For blood defiles the Land.  And the Land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed in it, but by the blood of him who shed it.  Therefore the murderer must be put to death.

NUMBERS 35.34  Do not defile the Land that you live in, says The LORD, which is The Land that I dwell in.  For I THE LORD dwell among The Children of Israel.

The word DWELL is described in Webster’s Dictionary as, To Live or Stay as a Permanent Resident.

GOD is a Permanent Resident Who Lives with The Jewish People and Israel, and those non-Jewish People who are of GOD who live by every Word that proceeds out of The Mouth of GOD written in The Bible.

There is ONLY ONE GOD, and GOD dwells in many places at the same time.  Spiritually and Physically.  And that ONE GOD is MESSIAH YESHUA.

DEUTERONOMY 6.4, DEUTERONOMY 8.3, HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6, JEREMIAH 23.24, MATTHEW 4.4, MARK 12.29, LUKE 4.4, JOHN 12.45, 49, JOHN 14.9, JOHN 17

JEREMIAH 23.24  No one can hide from GOD that He shall not see you.  Do not I fill heaven and earth, saith The LORD.

The Spirit of GOD is everywhere, all the time at the same time. Therefore GOD may be physically everywhere, any where at the same time because He is GOD.

MESSIAH YESHUA, WHO IS GOD ALMIGHTY THE FATHER, was in Israel during New Testament Times, and in Heaven at the same time.  He is GOD, not a man.

JOHN 17, JOHN 12.45,49, JOHN 14.9, HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6

DEUTERONOMY 4.44-49  This is GOD’S Law that Moses set before The Children of Israel after they came out from Egypt.

Even before Israel conquered and possessed the land of Canaan, GOD gave The Jewish People His Laws that are called The Law of Moses for all mankind for their good to live by and obey.  ROMANS 2.13, ROMANS 3.31

And Israel conquered other lands in current-day Jordan before conquering Canaan when kings and their armies came out to destroy The Children of Israel.  But instead The Children of Israel destroyed those kings, and their armies, and possessed their countries with the mighty help of The LORD Their GOD, The Mighty GOD of Israel.

That is in accordance with GOD’S Laws for murder.  The enemies of Israel were guilty of murder and therefore they were destroyed and lost their land to The Children of Israel that became part of The Land of Israel.

As for the land of Canaan and the Canaanites, The LORD drove the Canaanites out of their land because of their wickedness.  DEUTERONOMY 9.1-5

The Hebrew Word for Wickedness is REH’SHET meaning UNGODLY, WRONG, VIOLATE, WICKED, SIN, INIQUITY.

The Canaanites did everything Wrong.  They violated The Spoken Word of GOD.  And that is sin and wickedness.

Therefore GOD removed the Canaanites from their Land and gave it to The Children of Israel, The Jewish People for an everlasting possession as He promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  GENESIS 50.24

And the land of Canaan became the Land of Israel which GOD says is the most beautiful land on earth.  EZEKIEL 20.5-6

Sin is breaking The Law of Moses, whether you are Jewish or not Jewish.  And The Law of Moses stands forever.  It is not difficult.

NUMBERS 15.29-31, ISAIAH 40.8, 2 CORINTHIANS 2.17, 1 JOHN 3.4, 1 JOHN 5.3

2 CORINTHIANS 2.17  Paul wrote to The Followers of Messiah Yeshua in Corinth, a predominantly Gentile city in Greece, That we, The Followers of Messiah Yeshua do not corrupt The Word of GOD as many do.  That is to say, We are not dishonest and change The Word of GOD as many do.  But we teach in honesty and truth as GOD Speaks.  In The Sight of GOD we speak honestly in Messiah.

The True Follower of Messiah Yeshua never corrupts The Word of GOD or changes it.  The True Follower of Messiah Yeshua lives by The Word of GOD.  Every Word that GOD Speaks in The Bible from Genesis through Revelation.  DEUTERONOMY 8.3, MATTHEW 4.4, LUKE 4.4, ETC.

That is what we seek to do at Beth Elohenu Messianic Congregation.

Our teaching from Torah, The Law of Moses will continue from Deuteronomy 4.32-40.

AND THE TITLE OF OUR MESSAGE IS, HAS ANY god EVER COME TO TAKE FOR himself A NATION FROM THE HEART OF ANOTHER NATION?

And with that said, Let’s read DEUTERONOMY 4.32-40.

DEUTERONOMY 4.32-34  Some 3,400 years ago, Moses spoke these words to The Children of Israel just before they went to battle the Canaanites to take possession of their land that GOD has given the Jewish People for an everlasting possession to be their Homeland, that is now called The Land of Israel.

The land of Canaan was perhaps the size of the eastern part of the United States.

And Moses said to The Children of Israel, Ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that GOD created man upon earth.

And ask from one side of heaven to the other whether there has been any such thing as this great thing is, or has been heard like it?

Has ever a people heard The Voice of GOD speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and live, Moses said?  EXODUS 19.18, EXODUS 20.1

Or has any god ever gone and taken for himself a nation from inside another nation by colossal acts, and miracles, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and great terrors as The LORD YOUR GOD did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

The answer of course is no.

No god has ever taken a nation for himself from inside another nation as THE LORD GOD did in Egypt to take The Children of Israel who are The Jewish People for Himself.

And that is evidence, even through the course of history that Israel and The Jewish People are a created miracle of GOD.

AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE DID GOD CREATE THE JEWISH PEOPLE AND ISRAEL?

This People, GOD said, are formed for Myself, to show forth My Praise, to be My Witnesses and My Servant whom I have chosen.  That The Jewish People should Know and Believe Me, and Understand that I Am He.  And before Me there was no GOD formed.  Neither will there be after Me.

I even I AM THE LORD, GOD says, and beside Me there is no Savior.  ISAIAH 43. 21,10, 11

Some 2,000 years after The Creation, Abraham, whose name was Abram at the time, was living with his family in a place called Haran.  Haran was in current-day Syria just above the Euphrates River.  GENESIS 11.31

Ur of the Chaldees was at the southern tip of today’s Iraq, at the Persian gulf.

GOD took Abraham out from the Gentiles to make a People for Himself.

The Jewish People descend from Abraham, and his son Isaac, and his grandson Jacob, and Jacob’s twelve sons, the fathers of the twelve Tribes of Israel.  GENESIS 21.12

The Jewish People descend from Isaac.

GOD had said to Abram, Go out from your Country and from your family, and from your father’s house to The Land that I will show you.

That Land that GOD brought Abraham to, and showed him was the land of Canaan that years later became The Land of Israel that GOD has given to The Jewish People for an everlasting possession.  GENESIS 17.8.

Today, current-day Israel is but a small part of The GOD-Given Borders of Israel from a River in Egypt to The Euphrates River.  GENESIS 15.18-21

And GOD made great Promises to Abraham and Abraham’s Jewish Descendants.

GOD Promised Abraham that He would make of him a great nation.  And GOD did just that.  Israel is the great nation that GOD made from Abraham.

And GOD Promised Abraham that He would bless him and make his name great.  And Abraham has a great name in History.

And GOD Promised Abraham that he would be a blessing.

And this is how GOD made Abraham a blessing.

GOD blesses those who bless Abraham and his Descendants The Jewish People.

And GOD curses those who curse Abraham or His Jewish Descendants.

And throughout history, GOD has blessed everyone and every nation that has blessed Abraham and His Jewish offspring.

And GOD has cursed and will curse every nation and individual that has cursed, and curses Abraham or The Jewish People.

And Abraham is a blessing to the world.  Why?  Because GOD Promised Abraham that All the families of the earth are blessed in Abraham and his Jewish Descendants.  GENESIS 12.1-3

HERE IS HOW THE WORLD IS BLESSED IN ABRAHAM AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE.  DEUTERONOMY 4.35, 39, 40

In those words that Moses spoke to The Children of Israel, he told The Jewish People, TO KNOW THAT THE LORD IS GOD AND THERE IS NONE ELSE BESIDE HIM.

AND GOD INSTRUCTED YOU OUT OF HEAVEN TO HEAR HIS VOICE.  DEUTERONOMY 4.36

The Word INSTRUCT means, To Furnish with Knowledge, and Teach, and Train and Educate.

And The Word HEAR in Hebrew, as in, OUT OF HEAVEN, GOD MADE YOU TO HEAR HIS VOICE, IS SH’MAH.  MEANING, TO HEAR GOD, AND OBEY HIM.

AND AS YOU WELL KNOW, GOD CHOSE THE JEWISH PEOPLE TO BE HIS WITNESSES TO BRING THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD IN THE BIBLE TO ALL THE WORLD.

TO TELL ALL MANKIND THAT KEEPING GOD’S STATUTES AND HIS COMMANDMENTS, THAT IS OBEYING EVERY WORD GOD SPEAKS IN THE BIBLE, WILL RESULT IN YOUR LIFE GOING WELL FOR YOU, AND YOUR CHILDREN AFTER YOU.

AND YOU WILL PROLONG YOUR DAYS UPON THE EARTH WHICH THE LORD YOUR GOD GIVES YOU FOREVER, THE LORD SAYS.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBERING, THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS.  THAT GOD IS THE FATHER, THE SON, THE MESSIAH, THE SPIRIT, THE HOLY SPIRIT.  THEY ARE ALL ONE AND THE SAME GOD.  

Those are encouraging Words of Witness that The Jewish People bring to the world through The Bible from Genesis through Revelation that Jewish People wrote from The Spoken Word of GOD, from His Prophets, and from others.  DEUTERONOMY 4.37-40

THAT IS HOW ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH ARE BLESSED IN ABRAHAM AND THE JEWISH  PEOPLE. BY OBEYING GOD, AND BELIEVING IN ONE GOD AND NO OTHERS. 

YESHUA THE MESSIAH IS GOD THE FATHER.

MATTHEW 4.4, LUKE 4.4, DEUTERONOMY 8.3, ROMANS 2.13, JOHN 14.9, DEUTERONOMY 6.4, MARK 12.29

GOD gave The Jewish People all the instructions for Life that GOD requires of mankind, for your good.  All is written in The Bible.

Not only are the families of the earth blessed by The Jewish People who wrote GOD’S Instructions for life in The Bible, but The Jewish People have also given the world The Messiah Yeshua Who gave His Life, and shed His Blood for The Atonement of all the world to those who love GOD, and keep His Commandments.

AND HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE NOT DIFFICULT.  JOHN 14.15, 16, 1 JOHN 5.3

Israel and The Jewish People have a 4,000 year history that is unique.  One of a kind.

When GOD took Abraham out from the Gentiles, He did so to form a People for Himself.

Some 200 years later, GOD brought a small number of Jewish People from Canaan down to Egypt because GOD created a famine in the earth.  But for GOD’S Purpose.  To make of Abraham a great nation.  The nation of Israel.

That is a very important part of Jewish history.

Egypt had food.  And the seventy Jewish People that went down to Egypt was the entire population of Jewish People.

They came with their father Jacob when his young son Joseph, through a miracle of GOD, became Governor of Egypt under Pharaoh.

And after 400 years of slavery in Egypt under the iron hand of the Egyptians, seventy Jewish People grew to some three million.  And GOD miraculously delivered His People out of Egyptian bondage by His Mighty Hand with wonders, miracles, signs and war.  Egypt had zero chance of victory.

And GOD miraculously opened the Red Sea for His People to cross on dry ground to proceed to The Promised Land.

The existence of Israel and The Jewish People is unique because of their creation, and the countless obstacles The Jewish People have faced and overcome in continuous wars, Jew Hatred, Religious killings for no reason, their exiles by GOD from The Land of Israel for our own fault, disobedience to GOD.

Three times exiled from our land in 722 B.C.E./B.C, 586 B.C.E./B.C.. and 70 C.E./A.D.  And three times GOD returned His Jewish People to their Homeland Israel.  That is unique and miraculous.

Israel has been occupied by other nations numerous times starting with the Assyrians, current-day Syria and Iraq in 722 B.C.E./B.C.

Then the Babylonians, current-day Iraq in 586 B.C.E./B.C.

Then the Persian Empire, current-day Iran in the days of Cyrus the Great who allowed The Jewish People to return to Israel from Babylonian captivity 2,500 years ago.  The time was around 538 B.C.E./B.C.  ISAIAH 44.28, ISAIAH 45.1-7, EZRA 1.1-2

The Prophesy was spoken by Isaiah The Prophet some 200 years before the birth of Cyrus, and not Jeremiah.  But Jeremiah did write extensively of southern Israel’s exile to Babylon, and return to Jerusalem.  JEREMIAH 29.4-14, JEREMIAH 32.36-44

After the occupation of the Persians, Israel was occupied by The Greek Empire under Alexander the Great in 332. B.C.E./B.C.

Then the Romans for 361 years, from 37 B.C.E. to 324 C.E./A.D.

After the Romans, the Byzantines, the eastern Greek-speaking Romans for 314 years, from 324 C.E./A.D. to 638 B.C.E./A.D.

Then the Islamic Arabs for 461 years, from 638 to 1099.

Then the Crusaders, Roman Catholic Europeans, for 161 years, from 1099 to 1260.

Then came the Mamluke Empire, a Turkish people who ruled from Turkey, and then Egypt for 257 years, from 1260 to 1517.

Then the Ottoman Turks for 400 years, from 1517 to 1917.

And then came British rule for 31 years, from 1917 to 1948.

In 1948 after the British left, three years after World War 2, and the return of thousands of Jewish Holocaust survivors from the German death camps that killed six million Jews, the Arabs attacked the newly formed State of Israel hoping to annihilate The Jewish State of Israel, and its Jewish People.

The Arabs sent their armies from Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq against GOD’S Jewish People and, yes, against their GOD, THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, GOD ALMIGHTY, WHO IS THE MESSIAH YESHUA, AND AGAINST GOD’S LAND, THE LAND OF ISRAEL.

And The Jews, with a very small army, but a great fighting people who defended their Homeland Israel, whooped the five Arab nations in a short space of time.

But the Arabs and the Europeans and other nations continuously seek to force The Jewish People from their Land.  But The Jewish People say, Never again.  And the People of Israel continue to defeat their enemies in every war because of the great people who fight for their Homeland, and The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY Who fights for The Jewish People.

And wars and hatred continue against Israel, and they will continue until The LORD GOD, THE MESSIAH YESHUA returns from Heaven and destroys all the enemies of The Jewish People and Israel.

Then Messiah will begin His Messianic Kingdom on earth in Israel from a River in Egypt to the Euphrates River for 1,000 years where He will Reign over all the earth.

And when the 1,000 years end, our next home will be Eternity in Heaven forever.

Today Israel is not only a great Nation, but one of the most progressive Nations in the world.  And Israel has one of the greatest militaries in the world to defend itself from those who foolishly seek to destroy us.

The People of Israel live.  Am Y’Israel Chai!

Even with all the faults of The Jewish People, GOD is a Faithful GOD Who shows Mercy to those who love Him, and keep His Commandments.

GOD says, As the new heavens and the new earth that GOD will make shall remain before Me, so shall The Jewish People and our name Israel remain.

THUS, THE SURE AND POSITIVE WAY TO HAVE GOD’S BLESSINGS ON EARTH AND ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN, FOR ALL PEOPLE, JEWISH AND NOT JEWISH, IS TO LIVE YOUR LIFE ACCORDING TO EVERY WORD GOD SPEAKS IN THE BIBLE, AND HAVE THE MESSIAH YESHUA FOR YOUR ATONEMENT.  

EXODUS 20.12, DANIEL 9.26, ISAIAH 66.22, ZECHARIAH 14, JOHN 14.15, ROMANS 11.29, REVELATION 20.7-15

HEAVEN IS GOD’S HOUSE.  THEREFORE IT’S BEST TO OBEY WHAT GOD SAYS.
