Shalom.

We’re continuing our teaching in Torah, The Law of Moses from Deuteronomy 6.1-4.

AND THE TITLE OF OUR MESSAGE IS, HEAR O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE.

And with that said, let’s read DEUTERONOMY 6.1-4.

Around 1980, I started to think, Why are we, The Jewish People GOD’S Chosen People?

And I knew that the only place to find that answer was in The Bible, The Old Testament Bible that my father read for as long as I can remember.

That was in 1980 when I lived in Florida.  I was born in Rhode Island and lived there for twenty-four years.

In time I found an Old Testament Bible at a Synagogue in south Florida.  The exact Bible my father read.  And I was thrilled to have the same Bible my Dad read every night when he came home from work.  I think it cost $7.35.

So I started reading from Genesis 1, and I fell in love with The Bible.

When I read that GOD appeared to Abraham, I was shocked because I had never known that GOD appeared to anyone. GENESIS 12.7

And I couldn’t put The Bible down until I could not see The Words anymore.  The pages became blank.  And then I realized I needed reading glasses.

And in time, I found some of the answers Why GOD chose The Jewish People to be His Chosen People.

GOD chose The Jewish People because He loves us, and because He would keep the oath that He had sworn to our fathers.

And that GOD requires His Jewish People to know that GOD is GOD.  And GOD Commands His People to Love Him and Keep His Commandments forever.  His Laws, Teachings and Instructions that are written in The Bible.

And GOD chose The Jewish People to be a Holy People and a Special People to Himself.

Some Bibles write that GOD chose The Jewish People to be a Special Possession to Himself, or to be a Treasured People to Himself, or to be His Own Treasure, or His Own Unique Treasure.  While the King James Bible writes that GOD chose The Jewish People to be a Peculiar People to Himself.

The Hebrew Word for Treasured or Special is SEH’GULAH meaning Treasure, Special, Jewel, and Peculiar.

And The Prophet Amos writes that GOD will punish His Jewish People for all our iniquities.

That Prophesy, like all GOD’S Prophesies, has proven correct.

And in time I read that GOD chooses certain Gentiles to be fully part of GOD’S Chosen People.  Those Gentiles who know Righteousness.  In whose heart is GOD’S Law, His Law of Moses.  Who have Atonement in The Messiah Yeshua.  For Righteousness is Obedience to GOD’S Law of Moses.  DEUTERONOMY 7.6-9, DEUTERONOMY 14.2, AMOS 3.1-2, ISAIAH 51.7

 

GOD chose The Jewish People to be His Witnesses and His Servant, to Know GOD, to Believe GOD, and Understand that GOD is GOD, and there is no other GOD but Him.

Those words are Written in ISAIAH 43.10.

A WITNESS FOR GOD SPEAKS THE TRUTH.  HE OR SHE SPEAKS THE WORDS THAT GOD SPEAKS IN THE BIBLE.  DEUTERONOMY 8.3, MATTHEW 4.4, LUKE 4.4

THE WORDS THAT A WITNESS FOR GOD SPEAKS MUST ALWAYS AGREE WITH THE WORDS THAT GOD SPEAKS IN TORAH, THE LAW OF MOSES.

FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN A PERSON TEACHES OR SAYS THAT THE LAW OF MOSES IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT, THAT PERSON IS NOT A WITNESS FOR GOD BECAUSE GOD NEVER SAYS THAT ANYWHERE IN THE BIBLE.  GOD’S WORD NEVER CHANGES OR ENDS.  THAT IS WHAT GOD SAYS.  ISAIAH 40.8

ON THE OTHER HAND, THE SERVANT OF GOD DOES EXACTLY WHAT GOD COMMANDS US TO DO FROM HIS SPOKEN WORD IN THE BIBLE.

MOSES WAS A GREAT WITNESS FOR GOD.  AND SO ARE THE JEWISH PEOPLE GREAT WITNESSES FOR GOD.

Why?  Because The Law of Moses, called in Hebrew, The Torah are The Words written in The First Five Books of The Bible.  Those Words are called The Law of Moses because GOD Spoke those Words to Moses Face to face as a man speaks to his friend.  Moses then taught The Words of GOD to The Jewish People, and as GOD’S Witnesses, The Jewish People gave the world The Spoken Words of GOD in The Bible.  EXODUS 33.11, DEUTERONOMY 34.10

The Laws written in The Law of Moses are not Moses’ Laws.  They are GOD’S Laws.  They are GOD’S Teachings and Instructions that GOD requires all humanity to live by.

For GOD is The GOD of all mankind.

As GOD’S Witnesses and Servant, The Jewish People wrote The Words of GOD in The Bible from Genesis through Revelation.

The Bible that Jewish People wrote for all the world are the Writings of The Law of Moses, The Words of The Prophets, The Writings of The Psalms, Proverbs, and other Writings.

Jewish People also wrote The New Testament that records the events of The Jewish Messiah Yeshua Whom the world knows as Jesus Christ, WHO HIMSELF IS GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM ELOHIM.  And Jewish People wrote GOD’S purpose for Messiah’s First Coming to Israel.  To give His Life as a human being for the Atonement of all mankind.  PSALM 22.1, MARK 15.34

AND GOD SPOKE TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE TELLING THEM THAT HE IS THE LORD, AND BESIDE HIM THERE IS NO SAVIOR.  YESHUA THE MESSIAH IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD.  ISAIAH 43.11, JOHN 4.42

AS GOD’S WITNESSES, THE JEWISH PEOPLE BROUGHT THE TRUTH OF GOD TO THE WORLD THAT WE WROTE IN THE BIBLE.

LET’S RETURN TO DEUTERONOMY 6.1

GOD Commanded Moses to Teach His People GOD’S Commandments, His Statutes, and Judgments.

Likewise, The Jewish Disciples of Messiah Teach The Gentiles who have turned to GOD the very same.  Go to a Synagogue every Sabbath on Saturday.  Hear Moses.  That is, Hear The Law of Moses preached.  Learn it, and Live by it.  ACTS 15.21, ISAIAH 40.8, LUKE 16.29-31, ROMANS 3.31, 1 PETER 23-25, JAMES 1.25

Learning The Law of Moses, and living by The Law of Moses is rarely taught today.  In fact, quite the opposite is taught.  Don’t learn The Law of Moses, and don’t do what it says, certain Bible teachers preach.  Because, they say, The Law of Moses is works that lead to curses, condemnation, and some even say, loss of salvation.

Those who teach that lie are not witnesses for GOD, but witnesses for another.

DEUTERONOMY 6.2  GOD’S WORD IS NOT SOMETHING YOU TAKE A VOTE ON TO EITHER DO WHAT HE SAYS OR NOT DO WHAT HE SAYS.  THESE ARE COMMANDMENTS THAT THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY COMMANDS EVERYONE TO DO.

THE WORDS OF GOD WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE ARE NOT ONLY FOR JEWISH PEOPLE.  THE WORDS OF GOD ARE GOD’S COMMANDMENTS FOR ALL PEOPLE.  JEWISH AND NON-JEWISH PEOPLE.  BECAUSE GOD IS THE GOD OF THE GENTILES ALSO.  ROMANS 3.29

SALVATION, ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE IS THIS.  BELIEVE IN MESSIAH YESHUA FOR YOUR ATONEMENT.  THEN LIVE BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD THAT IS WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE. 

THE LAW OF MOSES IS THE WORD OF GOD.

DEUTERONOMY 8.3, MATTHEW 4.4, LUKE 4.4, ISAIAH 53

DEUTERONOMY 6.3  THE LORD SAYS TO ISRAEL, AND TO ALL HUMANITY, HEAR THEREFORE O ISRAEL, AND OBSERVE TO DO IT, THAT IT WILL BE WELL WITH YOU.  AND THAT YOU WILL INCREASE AND EXCEL MIGHTILY AS THE LORD GOD OF YOUR FATHERS HAS PROMISED YOU IN THE LAND THAT FLOWS WITH MILK AND HONEY.  VERY IMPORTANT WORDS TO BE MINDFUL OF.

YOU KNOW, WHEN GENTILES HAVE ATONEMENT IN MESSIAH YESHUA, AND LIVE BY GOD’S COMMANDMENTS, STATUTES AND JUDGMENTS WHICH ARE EVERY WORD GOD SPEAKS IN THE BIBLE, YOUR FATHERS BECOME ABRAHAM, ISAAC, AND JACOB BECAUSE YOU BECOME FULLY PART OF GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE.

EVERY LAND WE LIVE IN FLOWS WITH MILK AND HONEY WHEN WE SERVE GOD.  YES, WITH PROBLEMS AT TIMES.  BUT GOD WILL ALWAYS PROVIDE FOR YOU, PROTECT YOU, AND DELIVER YOU WHEN YOU SERVE HIM.

DEUTERONOMY 6.4  I BELIEVE THIS VERSE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT TEACHING IN THE BIBLE.  “HEAR O ISRAEL.  THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE.”

THE HEBREW READS, “SH’MAH YISRAEL YEHOVAH ELOHAYNU YEHOVAH EH’KHAHD.”  “HEAR O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE.”

THESE WORDS OF GOD, AND THIS TEACHING ARE FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD AS IS EVERY WORD GOD SPEAKS IN THE BIBLE.

THE HEBREW WORD FOR “HEAR”, AS IN “HEAR” O ISRAEL, IS SH’MAH.  SH’MAH MEANS, “HEAR” WHAT GOD SAYS IN THE BIBLE, “PAY ATTENTION” TO WHAT GOD SAYS IN THE BIBLE, AND “OBEY AND DO” WHAT GOD SAYS IN THE BIBLE.

NEXT.  HEAR O ISRAEL.

THE JEWISH PEOPLE, THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL ARE GOD’S WITNESSES TO THE WORLD.  AND WE ARE COMMANDED TO HEAR WHAT GOD SAYS IN THE BIBLE, AND DO WHAT GOD SAYS IN THE BIBLE.

AND AS GOD’S WITNESSES, GOD COMMANDS US TO TELL THE WORLD THE VERY WORDS THAT GOD SPOKE TO MOSES, THE PROPHETS, AND OTHERS.  TO HEAR WHAT GOD SAYS, AND TO OBEY EVERY WORD THAT GOD SPEAKS THAT IS WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE.

BECAUSE GOD COMMANDS EVERYONE TO HEAR WHAT HE SAYS, PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT HE SAYS.  AND OBEY AND DO WHAT GOD SAYS.

NEXT.  HEAR O ISRAEL, THE LORD.

“THE LORD” IN HEBREW IS YEH’HO’VAH.  BUT MOST JEWISH PEOPLE PRONOUNCE GOD’S NAME IN THIS VERSE AND THROUGHOUT THE SCRIPTURES AS ADONAI SO AS NOT TO TAKE GOD’S NAME, YEH’HO’VAH IN VAIN.  WE ARE NOT TAKING GOD’S NAME IN VAIN WHEN WE TEACH HIS WORDS THAT JUDAISM CALLS THE SH’MAH.

THE LORD YEH’HO’VAH IS THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH.  THE LORD YEH’HO’VAH IS THE MESSIAH YESHUA.

NEXT.  HEAR O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD.

“OUR GOD” IN HEBREW IS ELOHAYNU.

ELOHAYNU (OUR GOD) COMES FROM THE HEBREW WORD ELOHIM.  ELOHIM IN HEBREW MEANS GODS.

AND ELOHIM, MEANING GODS, IS WRITTEN IN THE TNAKH, THE OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES OVER 3,000 TIMES.

YET THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.

LET’S EXPLAIN.

GOD APPEARS, OR SPEAKS IN THE BIBLE AS;

GOD.  GENESIS 1.1  GOD, IN THIS VERSE, IS ELOHIM, GODS.

GOD IS THE FATHER.  MALACHI 1.6

GOD IS THE ANGEL OF THE LORD.  EXODUS 3.1-6

THE ANGEL OF GOD AND THE ANGEL OF THE LORD ARE ONE AND THE SAME.  THEY ARE BOTH GOD. JUDGES 6.11-20

MESSIAH YESHUA IS GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM ELOHIM.  JOHN 12.45, 49, JOHN 14.9, HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6, HEBREW BIBLE MICAH 5.1, CHRISTIAN BIBLE MICAH 5.2, JOHN 4.25-26

GOD ALMIGHTY, THE EVERLASTING FATHER IS THE SON OF GOD.  HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6, PROVERBS 30.4

GOD IS THE SPIRIT OF GOD.  GENESIS 1.2-3

THE SPIRIT OF GOD FILLS THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH.  THE HEAVENS ARE LIMITLESS, HAVING NO BEGINNING OR END.  JEREMIAH 23.24

THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS THE LIFE AND BREATH IN EVERY LIVING HUMAN BEING, AND THE LIFE OF EVERY LIVING THING.  GENESIS 2.7

THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD ARE GOD.  BUT THE HOLY SPIRIT CAUSES PEOPLE TO WALK IN GOD’S STATUTES, AND KEEP HIS JUDGMENTS AND DO THEM.  EZEKIEL 36.26-27, 2 CORINTHIANS 3.17

THE SPIRIT IN 2 CORINTHIANS 3.17 IS THE HOLY SPIRIT, BECAUSE IT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO PROVIDES LIBERTY, FREEDOM FROM SIN AND DEATH.  PSALM 119.44-45, EZEKIEL 36.26-27, EZEKIEL 18.21

MELCHIZEDEK IS MESSIAH YESHUA, GOD ALMIGHTY.  HEBREWS 7.1-3

THE GLORY OF GOD IS GOD.  EXODUS 16.7, 10, 11, 1 KINGS 8.10-11

ALL ARE GOD.  THE ONE GOD, AND THE SAME GOD.  THE FATHER, THE SON, THE MESSIAH YESHUA, THE SPIRIT, THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE GLORY OF GOD, THE ANGEL OF THE LORD, THE ANGEL OF GOD, MELCHIZEDEK.  ALL ARE ONE AND THE SAME GOD.  NOT A TRINITY OF THREE DIFFERENT gods.

ADD TO THAT, THERE ARE SEVEN BILLION, SIX HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE LIVING IN THE WORLD TODAY.  EVERY LIVING HUMAN BEING AND EVERY LIVING THING, THE ANIMALS, BIRDS, FISH, PLANTS, GRASS, ETC. HAVE GOD, THE SPIRIT OF GOD LIVING IN THEM FOR THEIR LIFE.

AND EVERY HUMAN BEING IS DIFFERENT AS ARE ALL LIVING THINGS DIFFERENT.

BUT THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS THEIR LIFE.

AND THE BIBLE SAYS, BY HIM, GOD ALMIGHTY, ALL THINGS CONSIST.  THAT IS TO SAY, BY HIM ALL THINGS EXIST.  COLOSSIANS 1.17

AND MESSIAH YESHUA IS ALL IN ALL.  COLOSSIANS 3.11

MESSIAH YESHUA BEING GOD ALMIGHTY IS IN EVERYONE, AND EVERYTHING.  GOD IS ALL IN ALL.

GOD SPIRITUALLY AND PHYSICALLY IS AND CAN BE IN MANY DIFFERENT PLACES AT THE SAME TIME BECAUSE HE IS GOD.  AS GOD ALMIGHTY, WHO IS MESSIAH YESHUA, WAS IN ISRAEL AND IN HEAVEN AT THE SAME TIME.  GENESIS 1.26, GENESIS 11.6-7, GENESIS 19.24, EXODUS 24.10-11, PSALM 110.1, JOHN 17.1 

THEREFORE GOD CALLS HIMSELF, ELOHIM, GODS, AND ELOHAYNU, OUR GODS BECAUSE GOD IS EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME, EVEN IN DIFFERENT FORMS, AT THE SAME TIME.

AND YES, GOD SPEAKS TO GOD.  PSALM 110.1, JOHN 17.1-19

BUT THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.

NEXT.  HEAR O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE.

THE HEBREW WORD FOR ONE IN THIS VERSE IS EH’KHAHD, MEANING ONE.  BEING MANY BUT ONE.

EZRA 3.9  THE HEBREW FOR “TOGETHER” OR “AS ONE” IS EH’KHAHD.  MEANING MANY, BUT ONE.

JUDGES 20.8  ALL THE PEOPLE AROSE AS ONE MAN.  ONE IS THE HEBREW EH’KHAHD,  MEANING MANY, BUT ONE.

GOD IS ONE, BUT MANY.  HE IS THE FATHER, THE SON, THE MESSIAH, THE SPIRIT, THE HOLY SPIRIT AND SO MUCH MORE.

HEAR O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE.

YESHUA THE MESSIAH SAID, THE MOST IMPORTANT COMMANDMENT IS, HEAR O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE.  MARK 12.29

AND THE TITLE OF OUR MESSAGE IS, THE LORD GOD, THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL.

And with that said, let’s read Deuteronomy 5.22-33.

DEUTERONOMY 5.22  The Words that The Lord Spoke to The Children of Israel in Mount Sinai, out of the midst of the fire, out of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a Great Voice, and GOD Wrote those Words on two tables of stone for all mankind to live their lives, The Words of The Ten Commandments.

SAYING IN HIS SECOND COMMANDMENT, “AND SHOWING MERCY TO THOUSANDS OF THEM THAT LOVE ME AND KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.”  DEUTERONOMY 5.10

GOD’S COMMANDMENTS, IN HEBREW, MEETZ’VO’TAY, ARE HIS LAWS, TEACHINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE FIRST FIVE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE THAT THE LORD YOUR GOD REQUIRES ALL HUMANITY TO OBEY AND LIVE THEIR LIVES AS GOD HAS COMMANDED.

FOR THE PROPHET ISAIAH SAYS, THEREFORE AS THE FIRE DEVOURS THE STUBBLE, AND THE FLAME CONSUMES THE CHAFF SO THEIR ROOT SHALL BE AS ROTTENNESS, AND THEIR BLOSSOM SHALL GO UP IN DUST.  BECAUSE THEY HAVE CAST AWAY THE LAW OF THE LORD OF HOSTS (THE LAW OF MOSES) AND DESPISED THE WORD OF THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL.  ISAIAH 5.24

WHEN ANYONE CASTS AWAY THE LAW OF THE LORD OF HOSTS, GOD’S LAW OF MOSES, GOD SAYS, THAT PERSON DESPISES THE WORD OF THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. 

VERY STRONG WORDS OF WARNING.

DEUTERONOMY 5.23-29  VERSES 27-29  The People said to Moses, Go near and hear all that The LORD our GOD shall say, and speak to us all that The LORD our GOD shall speak to you, AND WE WILL HEAR IT, AND DO IT.

And The LORD heard the voice of your words, Moses said, and The LORD said to me, I have heard the voice of the words of this People which they have spoken to you. They have well said all that they have spoken.

And The LORD said, O that there were such a heart in them that they would Fear Me, and Keep all My Commandments always.  That they would Keep The Law of Moses always that it will go well with them, and with their children forever.  

I think of the Parable of The Sower that Messiah Yeshua spoke.  He said to His Jewish Disciples, To you it is given to know the mysteries of The Kingdom of GOD.  But others are taught in parables. That seeing, they will not see, and hearing they will not understand.

A parable is a short story that teaches a truth.

THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD ARE OBEDIENCE TO GOD.  OBEDIENCE TO EVERY WORD GOD SPEAKS IN THE BIBLE THAT INCLUDES GOD’S LAW OF MOSES.  MATTHEW 5.5, LUKE 4.4, LUKE 8.5-15

THOUGH OBEDIENCE TO GOD IS TAUGHT THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE FROM GENESIS THROUGH REVELATION, OBEDIENCE TO THE GOD OF CREATION IS A MYSTERY.  BECAUSE MANY DO NOT REGARD IT.  IT IS OF NO CONCERN TO THEM.  THEY READ IT, BUT DO NOT UNDERSTAND.

The sower sows, or scatters The Seed.  The Seed is The Word of GOD that includes Atonement in Messiah Yeshua.  And The Seed is The Word of GOD that is Scattered throughout the earth.  VERSE 11

VERSE 12  Those people by the wayside, the traveled path of life, hear The Word of GOD that includes GOD’S Law of Moses.  Then the devil comes and takes away The Word of GOD out of their hearts so that they can not believe and be saved. 

I think that has happened to so many Bible teachers.

Some might say, Oh, I believe in Messiah Yeshua.  But when you disobey GOD as Moses disobeyed GOD at the rock that brought forth water for The Children of Israel, GOD said, You did not Believe Me.  NUMBERS 20.12

Therefore when you disobey The Word of GOD Written in The Bible, You do not believe GOD.

VERSE 13  THOSE UPON THE ROCK ARE THE PEOPLE WHO HEAR THE WORD OF GOD, AND THEY RECEIVE THE WORD OF GOD WITH JOY.  BUT THEY HAVE NO ROOT.  THAT IS, THEY ARE NOT ROOTED IN THE WORD OF GOD.  AND THEY FALL AWAY.

VERSE 14  AND THE SEED, THAT IS THE WORD OF GOD WHICH FELL AMONG THE THORNS ARE THE PEOPLE WHO WHEN THEY HEARD THE WORD OF GOD GO ON WITH THEIR LIVES BUT ARE STRANGLED WITH THE CARES AND RICHES, AND PLEASURES OF THIS LIFE, AND BRING NO FRUIT TO PERFECTION. 

THEY RECEIVED THE FRUIT, THE WORD OF GOD, BUT THEY DO NOT LIVE BY THE FRUIT THAT INCLUDES THE LAW OF MOSES. (MATTHEW.4.4, LUKE 4.4)  THUS THERE IS NO GODLINESS IN THEIR LIVES.  NO PERFECTION.  THERE IS NO OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD OF GOD.  MEANING THERE IS NO OBEDIENCE TO GOD.

THEREFORE THOSE PEOPLE BY THE WAYSIDE WHO HEARD THE WORD OF GOD, BUT THE DEVIL CAME AND TOOK AWAY GOD’S WORD OUT OF THEIR HEART THAT THEY CANNOT BELIEVE AND BE SAVED, AND THOSE ON THE ROCK WHO RECEIVED THE WORD OF GOD WITH JOY, BUT THEY WERE NOT ROOTED IN GOD’S WORD.  AND THOSE WHO RECEIVED THE WORD OF GOD THAT FELL AMONG THE THORNS ARE PEOPLE WHO HEARD GOD’S WORD BUT WERE STRANGLED WITH THE CARES, AND RICHES AND PLEASURES OF THIS LIFE CAUSING THEM TO FALL AWAY FROM GOD.  THEREFORE THEY DID NOT BRING THE FRUIT OF GOD’S WORD TO PERFECTION.  INSTEAD THEY CONTINUED TO LIVE THEIR LIVES IN DISOBEDIENCE AND DISRESPECT TO GOD.

THE RESULT?  THEY LOST THEIR SALVATION WHICH GOD HAD GIVEN THEM WHEN THEY RECEIVED THE MESSIAH YESHUA.  BUT THEY STOPPED OR NEVER LIVED BY THE WORD OF GOD THAT INCLUDES THE LAW OF MOSES.  HEBREWS 6.4-6

LUKE 8.15  BUT THE SEED, THE WORD OF GOD THAT FELL ON THE GOOD GROUND ARE PEOPLE WHO WITH AN HONEST AND GOOD HEART HAVING HEARD OR READ GOD’S WORD IN THE BIBLE THAT INCLUDES GOD’S LAW OF MOSES, KEEP GOD’S WORD.

KEEPING GOD’S WORD IS GUARDING AND PROTECTING THE WORD OF GOD IN YOUR HEART.  NOT LETTING ANYONE FALSELY ACCUSE YOU FOR OBEYING GOD, BUT RATHER YOU ATTEND TO GOD’S WORD AND OBEY IT.

AND YOU BRING FORTH FRUIT WITH PATIENCE.  THAT IS, YOU OBEY GOD.  YOU SHOW FORTH THE FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.  YOU DO THAT WHICH IS LAWFUL AND RIGHT IN THE EYES OF GOD AND YOU HAVE BROUGHT GOD’S WORD TO PERFECTION.

AND BECAUSE OF YOUR FAITH IN MESSIAH YESHUA, AND YOUR OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD OF GOD THAT INCLUDES HIS LAW OF MOSES, YOUR SALVATION, YOUR ATONEMENT, AND ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN REMAIN FOREVER.

Returning to Deuteronomy 5.27 where The Children of Israel said, We will hear what The LORD OUR GOD says, and we will do it.

YOU ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD WHEN YOU HEAR OR READ WHAT THE LORD YOUR GOD SAYS IN THE BIBLE, AND YOU DO WHAT THE LORD YOUR GOD SAYS.

But today, many Jewish People and Gentiles read The Word of GOD in The Bible, but do not do it.  Causing them trouble because of their disobedience to GOD.

It amazes me that there are a number of Bibles, at least in  English that are written in an easy to read language that a five year old child can read and understand.

Yet the predominant teaching of most Bible teachers today is to reject The Word of GOD, by rejecting The Law of Moses.

ADD TO THAT THE FALSE TEACHING OF SO MANY BIBLE TEACHERS THAT TEACH THAT THE WORKS OF THE LAW OF MOSES ARE USELESS, AND CAN ONLY RESULT IN GOD’S CURSE AND CONDEMNATION.

THEY SAY THAT THE WORKS OF THE LAW OF MOSES ARE LEGAL PERFORMANCES BY WHICH MEN SEEK TO BE “ACCEPTED BY GOD”.

NOT TRUE.  WE WHO DO THE WORKS OF THE LAW OF MOSES SEEK TO OBEY GOD.  THAT IS WHAT GOD REQUIRES OF US.

OBEDIENCE TO EVERY WORD GOD SPEAKS IN THE BIBLE IS THE FOUNDATION OF THE BIBLE.  I WILL SAY THAT AGAIN, OBEDIENCE TO EVERY WORD GOD SPEAKS IN THE BIBLE IS THE FOUNDATION OF THE BIBLE.  MATTHEW 4.4, LUKE 4.4, DEUTERONOMY 8.3

These Bible teachers who teach the lie that the works of The Law of Moses can only result in GOD’S curse and condemnation disgrace and dishonor GOD.  And they disgrace and dishonor The Jewish People who received The Word of GOD and His Law of Moses from The Mouth of GOD, and brought GOD’S Word and His Teachings to the world in The Bible from Genesis through Revelation.  ISAIAH 43.10

THE WORD OF OUR GOD SHALL STAND FOREVER.  ISAIAH 40.8, 1 PETER 1.23-25

And it is The Messiah Yeshua Whom many call Jesus Christ Who was born from The Jewish People Whom GOD has given to the world to be your Redeemer, Savior, and Salvation.

A five year old can easily read Deuteronomy Chapter 28 and read GOD’S great blessings for Obeying His Law of Moses, and GOD’S curses for disobeying His Law of Moses.  That applies to all mankind.

DEUTERONOMY 5.30-33  It is quite often said that these words in The Bible, especially The Words of The Law of Moses are only for Jewish People.  And that Christians are only required to obey four laws; Abstain from pollution of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

But there is yet another instruction that The Jewish Disciples of Messiah teach The Gentiles in Messiah Yeshua.  That is, to go to The Synagogue every Sabbath Day on Saturday and hear The Teachings of Moses.  The Teachings of Moses are The Teachings of GOD in The Law of Moses.

Therefore James said, The Gentiles in Messiah Yeshua should learn The Law of Moses, and do it.  ACTS 15.18-21 

There is only One Law that GOD has for all mankind.  The Law of Moses.

DEUTERONOMY 5.31-32  GOD TOLD MOSES TO TEACH THE JEWISH PEOPLE ALL THE COMMANDMENTS, AND THE STATUTES, AND THE JUDGMENTS.

AND DO NOT TURN ASIDE TO THE RIGHT HAND OR TO THE LEFT HAND FROM WHAT GOD HAS COMMANDED YOU.  THAT IS, DON’T CHANGE GOD’S WORD.  DON’T CHANGE ANY OF GOD’S LAWS, TEACHINGS, OR INSTRUCTIONS.

GOD’S JUDGMENTS ARE HIS VERDICTS, HIS DECISIONS, AND SENTENCING ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF MOSES,  FOR THE PEOPLE TO DO THEM IN THE LAND WHICH I GIVE THEM TO POSSESS IT, GOD SAID.

THAT LAND OF COURSE IS THE LAND OF ISRAEL THAT INCLUDES JERUSALEM THAT 3,000 YEARS AGO THE JEWISH PEOPLE CHOSE TO BE THEIR ETERNAL CAPITAL, THE CAPITAL OF ISRAEL.

DEUTERONOMY 5.33  MOSES TOLD THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, YOU SHALL WALK IN ALL THE WAYS WHICH THE LORD YOUR GOD COMMANDED YOU, THAT YOU WILL LIVE, AND THAT IT WILL GO WELL WITH YOU, AND THAT YOU WILL PROLONG YOUR DAYS IN THE LAND WHICH YOU SHALL POSSESS.

AGAIN, THAT LAND THAT GOD GAVE TO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL 3,400 YEARS AGO FOR AN EVERLASTING POSSESSION INCLUDES THE HOLY CITY OF JERUSALEM THAT FROM THE DAYS OF KING DAVID TO TODAY AND AS LONG AS THE EARTH SHALL REMAIN IS THE CAPITAL OF ISRAEL AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE.  

NOT THE CAPITAL OF ARABS, CHRISTIANS, AND JEWS DECIDED BY THE UNITED NATIONS IN 1947, BUT THE CAPITAL OF ISRAEL AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE ALONE, DECIDED BY GOD ALMIGHTY.  GENESIS 15.18-21, GENESIS 17.8, GENESIS 50.24, EXODUS 6.8, LEVITICUS 20.24, JUDGES 2.1

SO, AS YOU KNOW, THE UNITED NATIONS PASSED A RESOLUTION THIS WEEK TO HAVE THE UNITED STATES WITHDRAW THEIR RECOGNITION OF JERUSALEM AS THE CAPITAL OF ISRAEL.

128 U.N. MEMBER STATES, OR COUNTRIES VOTED FOR THE UNITED STATES TO WITHDRAW THEIR RECOGNITION OF JERUSALEM AS THE CAPITAL OF ISRAEL, AND NOT MOVE THEIR EMBASSY TO JERUSALEM.

MANY OF THESE MEMBER COUNTRIES, ESPECIALLY THOSE IN EUROPE AND CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICA WHO SIT UNDER CHRISTIAN TEACHING FROM THE JEWISH BIBLE EVERY SUNDAY, SUPPORTED THE U.N. RESOLUTION THAT THE UNITED STATES SHOULD WITHDRAW THEIR RECOGNITION THAT JERUSALEM IS THE CAPITAL OF ISRAEL AND NOT MOVE THE UNITED STATES EMBASSY TO JERUSALEM.

THE BIBLE EXPLAINS CLEARLY THAT KING DAVID CHOSE JERUSALEM TO BE THE CAPITAL OF ISRAEL AND THE SPIRITUAL CAPITAL OF JUDAISM.  2 SAMUEL 5.5, 1 KINGS 2.11, 1 CHRONICLES 3.4

128 COUNTRIES SUPPORTED THE RESOLUTION THAT THE UNITED STATES MUST WITHDRAW THEIR RECOGNITION OF JERUSALEM BEING ISRAEL’S CAPITAL, AND NOT MOVE THE U.S. EMBASSY TO JERUSALEM.

WHILE ONLY 9 COUNTRIES; TOGO, THE MARSHALL ISLANDS, NAURU, MICRONESIA, PALAU, HONDURAS, GUATEMALA, ISRAEL AND THE UNITED STATES VOTED WITH THE UNITED STATES, AND ISRAEL TO RECOGNIZE JERUSALEM AS THE CAPITAL OF ISRAEL, AND MOVE ITS EMBASSY TO JERUSALEM.

THIS PAST NOVEMBER, THE UNITED NATIONS, WHICH SOME CALL A TOOTHLESS TIGER, A HALL OF DARKNESS, AND U NOTHING, VOTED OVERWHELMINGLY TO DENY ANY ISRAEL TIES TO JERUSALEM.  AMAZING.

THAT WAS PART OF THE MANY ANTI-ISRAEL RESOLUTIONS THAT THE UNITED NATIONS HAS LEVELED AGAINST ISRAEL.

ISRAEL HAS BEEN CONDEMNED BY THE UNITED NATIONS MORE THAN ALL THE OTHER COUNTRIES COMBINED SINCE 1948.  THINK ON THAT FOR A MINUTE.

WHICH IS A LEAD UP TO THE END DAYS WHEN THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD WILL ATTACK ISRAEL.  AND THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD AND THEIR ARMIES WILL BE DESTROYED BY THE LORD GOD OF ISRAEL, THE JEWISH MESSIAH YESHUA.

THE PROPHET EZEKIEL PROPHESIES THAT THE NATIONS WILL COME AGAINST GOD’S PEOPLE OF ISRAEL WITH GREAT ARMIES.  BUT GOD’S FURY WILL COME UPON THE HEATHEN, THAT IS THE NATIONS.  EZEKIEL 38.14-23

THE PROPHET JOEL PROPHESIES THAT THE GENTILES WILL MAKE WAR AGAINST ISRAEL, AND GOD WILL JUDGE ALL THE HEATHEN.  HEBREW BIBLE JOEL 4.9-21, CHRISTIAN BIBLE JOEL 3.9-21

AND THE PROPHET ZECHARIAH PROPHESIES THAT THE LORD WILL GATHER ALL NATIONS AGAINST JERUSALEM TO BATTLE.  AND MESSIAH YESHUA, THE GOD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH WILL RETURN.  AND GOD WILL PLAGUE THE ENEMIES OF ISRAEL WITH A GREAT PLAGUE.

AND THIS WILL BE THE END OF THIS WORLD AS WE KNOW IT, AND THE BEGINNING OF THE 1,000 YEAR MESSIANIC KINGDOM IN ISRAEL.  ZECHARIAH 14.1-5, 9, 12

AND PEACE WILL HAVE NO END IN THE MESSIANIC KINGDOM OF MESSIAH YESHUA IN ISRAEL FROM A RIVER IN EGYPT TO THE EUPHRATES RIVER.  HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5-6, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6-7, GENESIS 15.18-21

Shalom and Happy Hanukkah.

Hanukkah is an eight day Jewish Festival, and today is the fourth day of Hanukkah.

In Hebrew, Hanukkah means Dedication for the Rededication of the second Temple in Jerusalem in 165 B.C.E./B.C. to The Mighty GOD of Israel.  That was the victorious conclusion of the Triumph and Heroism of The Jewish People who were led by the Maccabees who fought a guerrilla war against a mighty Syrian army.

The Maccabees along with the other Jewish fighters used guerrilla warfare of surprise raids, and sabotage by small Jewish groups that destroyed the war effort of the Syrian armies.

As a point of information, Hanukkah was 2,182 years ago.

2,182 years ago there was no such thing as a Palestinian, or Palestinian Arabs.

Jerusalem has been The Capital of Israel since the days of King David, 835 years before Hanukkah.  And today, 2,182 years after Hanukkah, Jerusalem is still The Capital of Israel and The Jewish People.  And Jerusalem will always be The Capital of Israel and The Jewish People.

The Maccabees were Levites from the Hasmonean Family Dynasty of Priests.  They came to power in 166 B.C.E. when Mattathias, the elderly Priest of the Dynasty launched the Jewish revolt against the Syrian armies and their king, Antiochus Epiphanes whose armies ruled Israel at the time with a brutal hand and anti-Jewish atrocities.

One year later, in 165 B.C.E., the result was Victory for The Jewish People, and Hanukkah was declared.

The word Maccabees comes from the Hebrew MAH’KAH’VEEM, meaning HAMMERS.

Why is Hanukkah so important, not only to The Jewish People, but also to Gentiles throughout the world?

Because, had the Syrians succeeded in destroying The Jewish People in Israel from off the face of the earth, The Sacred Writings of The Tnakh, The Old Testament Scriptures would certainly have been destroyed by the enemies of GOD, along with The Jewish People who wrote The Bible.

And without The Jewish People, there would be no Jewish Messiah Yeshua Whom the world calls Jesus.  Therefore there would be no Atonement for sins, no Salvation to Eternal Life, and no New Testament.  There would be no light in the world.

But fortunately for the world, GOD has ordained The Jewish People to be an Eternal People for as long as The New Heavens, and The New Earth shall remain before The LORD.  ISAIAH 66.22

Add to that, GOD says, All the families of the earth are blessed in The Jewish People.

When Gentiles bless The Jewish People, and Israel, they are blessed by GOD.

When Gentiles live by every Word of GOD that Jewish People recorded in The Bible from Genesis through Revelation, that person is blessed by GOD.

The families of the earth are blessed in The Jewish People through The Jewish MESSIAH YESHUA Who is their Atonement for their sins when they have faith in Messiah Yeshua, and live their lives according to every Word that proceeds out of The Mouth of GOD that is written in The Bible from Genesis through Revelation.  That is Eternal life in Heaven.  GENESIS 12.3, 1 JOHN 5.3, MATTHEW 4.4, LUKE 4.4, DEUTERONOMY 8.3

Yes, all the families of the earth are blessed in The Jewish People.

Hanukkah is not a Commanded Festival of GOD in the grouping of The Festivals of The LORD in Leviticus 23.  Hanukkah is a Jewish Holiday.

Hanukkah can trace it’s roots to Alexander The Great who was the King of the ancient Kingdom of Macedonia.  The Kingdom of Macedonia was in the region of the Balkans in Albania, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Romania, and northern Greece.

Alexander the Great and his armies had defeated the Great Persian Empire that included, Iran, Syria, Egypt, and Israel.

And when Alexander died in his twenties, his Empire was divided into four Kingdoms.  And Syria and Egypt, two of those Kingdoms were continually at war with each other for one hundred years.  And Israel served as a land bridge between those two Kingdoms.  And Israel was torn apart by both invading armies.

When the war ended, Israel became the possession of Syria.  And for a time, there was peace in Israel until 175 B.C.E., ten years before Hanukkah, when Antiochus Epiphanes became the king of Syria.  He was insane, a nut case, and The Jewish People became his subjects.

From the very beginning of his reign, he hated The Jews because The Jewish People served The LORD Their GOD, The GOD of Israel, The Creator of Heaven and earth, and not the Greek gods of the Syrians.  The Jewish People refused to accept Greek idol worship that the Syrians learned from the Greeks.  So Antiochus Epiphanes decided to destroy The Jewish People and their faith.  And forbid The Jewish People to observe Torah, The Law of Moses, the very Teachings of GOD.

Antiochus Epiphanes had Greek altars, and Greek statues placed everywhere in Israel.  He dedicated The Temple to the false Greek gods olympia and zeus.  Pigs were offered on The Temple Altar.  Pig blood was sprinkled inside The Holy of Holies.  Their meat cooked, and their broth poured upon The Torah Scrolls.  And The Sabbath was forbidden to be observed by The Jewish People.

Antiochus Epiphanes tortured and killed Jewish People.  He desecrated The Temple with abominations.  He even entered The Holy of Holies which even for a lunatic was a lunatic thing to do.  And he ended the daily sacrifice at The Temple.

Pigs were in The Temple.  The Syrians stole the Temple Altar, The Menorah, and the precious Temple objects.

Jewish women and children were torn from The Temple and sold on the auction block for slaves.

But from a little village of Modi’in, a man named Mattathias, an elderly Priest from the Hasmonean Family of Priests saw a Syrian Officer approach the Temple Altar to offer a pig he killed for a sacrifice.  But Mattathias walked up to the officer and plunged his knife deep into the officer’s breast.

And Mattathias called his five sons, Judah Maccabee, Jonathan, Yohanan, Eleazar and Shimone to follow him.  Whoever is with GOD, Mattathias said, follow me.  And the Hasmoneans fled to the hills.  They became guerrilla fighters.  And the king sent four armies against them.  The Maccabees became hunted fugitives.  But they took advantage of the night’s darkness and their familiarity of the land’s surroundings.

In the hills around Jerusalem was heard the Hebrew cry, Death to the invaders.  Men without any military training fought with pitchforks, and swords.  They moved only when it was dark.  And when a cloud blanketed the moon, they struck.  One after another, Syrian soldiers were killed, the best fed, and the best led troops in the East.

The Maccabees used their finest archers who were all sharpshooters.  And they often caught the Syrians by surprise, even Syrian soldiers on elephants were shot through and fell dead from off these great animals.

The final battle came at Emmaus, the same small town which stood on the road some seven miles from Jerusalem where Yeshua The Messiah drew close to two men who were talking about Messiah’s death, burial, and resurrection.  Luke 24.13-35.

But this time it was Judah Maccabee who knew that the town of Emmaus was packed with Syrian fighters.  And the Syrians blocked the road to Jerusalem.  But Judah Maccabee took his men, and the two armies clashed at the first rays of the morning sun.  But it was quick, and soon over.  The Syrians were routed, and surrendered.  And the Syrian Commander came, and bowed to The Jewish forces to mark the victory of Judah Maccabee and The Jewish People, and The Mighty Power of The Great GOD of Israel.

And The Jewish People returned to Jerusalem, The Eternal Capital of Israel.  But what they saw made strong men sick.  The Torah Scrolls in The Temple were torn to pieces and scattered throughout.  Dirt and filth littered The Temple.  Statutes of Greek gods and goddesses stood throughout The Temple.  Pigs were sacrificed on The Holy Altar.

So the people braced themselves and scrubbed and cleaned The Temple.

And on the 25th day of The Hebrew  Month Kislev, which was this past Wednesday, in the year 165 B.C.E., The Temple in Jerusalem was Rededicated to THE LORD GOD OF ISRAEL.

With the little flask of oil, the only Holy Oil that was found in the destruction, The People re-lit the great Menorah at The Temple.  And exceeding all expectations, the oil miraculously burned for eight days.

And since that time Jewish People around the world celebrate Hanukkah for eight days each year in commemoration of The Great Triumph of Freedom, and The Festival of Light.

So what happened to the mental case Antiochus Epiphanes, the king of Syria who was responsible for the deaths and grief of so many Jewish People?  He was killed by disease as prophesied in the words of The Prophet Daniel prophesying the Hanukkah events in DANIEL 8.23-25.

Since Hanukkah is called The Festival of Light, I thought we would do a brief study on the symbol of light as it is written in The Bible.  And The One Who said, I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.  JOHN 8.12, 1 JOHN 1.5

When The Bible Speaks of Light, The Light is a symbol of Life, Blessings, Peace, The Word of GOD, The Law of Moses which is The Torah.  The Light serves as a symbol of Salvation, Knowledge, Wisdom, Understanding, Redemption, which is Deliverance from sin, Atonement, and Good.

While Darkness represents Chaos, Death, Ignorance, Suffering, Evil, and Sin.  Sin is breaking The Law of Moses.  NUMBERS 15.29-31, 1 JOHN 3.4 

GOD ALMIGHTY, THE MESSIAH YESHUA, THE MIGHTY GOD OF ISRAEL, HA SHEM ELOHIM IS THE LIGHT, AND THE SOURCE OF ALL LIGHT.

When GOD said, Let there be Light, AND THERE WAS LIGHT, when as yet the earth was without form, and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep, AND THERE WAS NO SUN, MOON, OR STARS, THERE WAS LIGHT BECAUSE THAT LIGHT WAS THE GLORY OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD, YESHUA THE MESSIAH WHO LIT UP THE WORLD BEFORE GOD CREATED THE SUN. 

THAT WAS THE FIRST DAY OF CREATION.  GENESIS 1.1-5, JOHN 8.12

GOD CREATED THE SUN ON THE FOURTH DAY OF CREATION.  GENESIS 1.14-19

IN HEAVEN, THERE IS NO NEED OF THE SUN OR THE MOON TO SHINE IN IT, FOR THE GLORY OF GOD IS THE LIGHT OF IT.  ISAIAH 60.19-20, REVELATION 21.22-23, REVELATION 22.5

THE WORD OF GOD, AND TORAH, THE LAW OF MOSES ARE LIGHT.  BECAUSE THEY ARE FROM GOD.  THEY ARE PURE, WITHOUT DARKNESS OR SIN, OR DEATH.  THEY LIVE FOREVER.  PSALM 119.105, PROVERBS 6.23

YESHUA THE MESSIAH, GOD ALMIGHTY IS THE LIGHT OF MAN.  HE IS OUR LIFE, THE LIFE THAT HAS BREATH.  AND GOD IS THE TRUTH.  JOHN 1.4, 9, JOHN 3.19-21

JOHN 3.21  WHEN YOU DO THE TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH IS LIVING BY EVERY SPOKEN WORD OF GOD IN THE BIBLE, BELIEVING IN ONE GOD, NOT THREE, YOU COME TO THE LIGHT.  YOU COME TO THE UNDERSTANDING OF GOD, AND YOU COME TO GOD.

YOUR DEEDS OF OBEDIENCE TO GOD ARE COMMITTED TO GOD.

BUT MEN LOVE DARKNESS RATHER THAN THE LIGHT.  MEN LOVE LIVING IN DISOBEDIENCE AND DISRESPECT TO GOD RATHER THAN LIVING IN OBEDIENCE TO THE CREATOR OF THEIR SOUL.  1 JOHN 1.7, EPHESIANS 5.8, ROMANS 13.12

WHEN YOU TESTIFY THE TRUTH OF GOD, AND THE TRUTH OF GOD IS HIS EVERY WORD, HIS LAW OF MOSES, ONE GOD, NOT THREE, YOU WALK IN THE LIGHT.  MATTHEW 5.14-16, ACTS 13.47, ISAIAH 42.6, ISAIAH 49.6, PHILIPPIANS 2.12-15

ISAIAH 42.6  BEING A LIGHT TO THE GENTILES IS BRINGING THE TRUTH OF GOD TO THE GENTILES.  THE TRUTH OF GOD IS THE WORD OF GOD.  NOT REJECTING THE LAW OF MOSES, BUT OBEYING IT, AND BELIEVING IN ONE GOD, NOT THREE.  MATTHEW 4.4

PHILIPPIANS 2.12  WORKING OUT YOUR SALVATION IS LIVING BY EVERY WORD OF GOD INCLUDING ALL THE LAW OF MOSES.

WALKING IN THE LIGHT OF THE LORD IS WHEN YOU ARE LIVING YOUR LIFE ACCORDING TO ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS OF GOD THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE.  ISAIAH 2.5, ISAIAH 51.1-4

ISAIAH 51.4  GOD’S JUDGMENT IS HIS LAW.  IT IS A LIGHT TO HIS PEOPLE, JEWISH AND NOT JEWISH.

SO IN CONCLUSION, THE LIGHT AND THE SOURCE OF ALL LIGHT IS GOD ALMIGHTY, YESHUA THE MESSIAH. 

AND YOUR LIGHT IS REVEALED WHEN YOU LIVE BY EVERY WORD GOD SPEAKS, DOING THAT WHICH IS LAWFUL AND RIGHT. 

IN SO DOING, GOD WILL GIVE YOU WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING.  HE WILL GIVE YOU PEACE AND BLESSINGS, SECURITY, AND DELIVERANCE FROM SIN, ATONEMENT, AND SALVATION, BECAUSE YOU LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT.

Our teaching will continue from Torah, The Law of Moses from Deuteronomy 5.6-21.

AND THE TITLE OF OUR MESSAGE IS, LIVING YOUR LIFE BY THE TEN COMMANDMENTS RESULTS IN ETERNAL LIFE AND A GOOD LIFE ON EARTH.

And with that said, let’s read Deuteronomy 5.6-21.

Since The Book of Deuteronomy is a review of much of  The Torah, which is The Law of Moses, a good portion of Deuteronomy Chapter five is a review of The Ten Commandments.

So I thought we would review The Ten Commandments, because everyone who lives their life by The Ten Commandments, and that includes The Second Commandment in which GOD says, He will show mercy to thousands of them who love Him and Keep His Commandments, GOD will bless you with Eternal Life, and a good life on earth.

DEUTERONOMY 5.6-7  THIS IS THE FIRST COMMANDMENT, AND GOD SAYS, I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD WHO BROUGHT YOU, THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT, FROM THE HOUSE OF BONDAGE.

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.  AND YESHUA THE MESSIAH IS THAT ONE GOD.

YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER gods BEFORE ME, GOD SAYS.

DEUTERONOMY 5.8-10  In The Second Commandment, GOD says, You shall not make for yourself any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or in the earth beneath, or in the waters beneath the earth.

You shall not bow down to them, nor serve them, for I THE LORD YOUR GOD AM A JEALOUS GOD visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me.

INIQUITY IS SIN.  SIN IS BREAKING THE LAW OF MOSES.  1 SAMUEL 15.24, 1 JOHN 3.4

THEREFORE, THE PERSON LIVING HIS OR HER LIFE IN VIOLATION OF THE LAW OF MOSES SHOWS PROOF THAT PERSON HATES GOD.

COMPLETING THE SECOND COMMANDMENT, GOD SAYS, AND SHOWING MERCY TO THOUSANDS OF THEM WHO LOVE ME AND KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.

GOD’S COMMANDMENTS, AS YOU WELL KNOW, ARE HIS LAWS, TEACHINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE LAW OF MOSES.

THEREFORE GOD SAYS, HE SHOWS MERCY TO THOSE WHO LOVE HIM AND OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS, HIS LAW OF MOSES.

THE MESSIAH YESHUA IS GOD.  THE SAME GOD WHO SAID IN THE OPENING VERSE OF THE BIBLE IN GENESIS 1.1, IN THE BEGINNING, GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH.

AND THE MESSIAH YESHUA IS THE VERY SAME GOD WHO SAID TO HIS JEWISH DISCIPLES, GO THEREFORE AND TEACH ALL NATIONS TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER I HAVE COMMANDED YOU.  MATTHEW 28.16-20, ISAIAH 53.10

MATTHEW 28.19  IF IN FACT YESHUA DID SAY, GO THEREFORE AND BAPTIZE THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT, AS SURE AS GOD MADE LITTLE GREEN APPLES, MESSIAH WAS NOT SPEAKING OF THREE DIFFERENT gods.  BECAUSE THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT ARE MESSIAH YESHUA, GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM ELOHIM.

JOHN 14.9, JOHN 4.25-26, 2 CORINTHIANS 3.17, HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6

MESSIAH’S TEACHINGS COME DIRECTLY FROM TNAKH, THE OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES THAT HAVE THE ENTIRE LAW OF MOSES WRITTEN IN IT IN THE FIRST FIVE BOOKS.

THEREFORE, OBEYING GOD’S LAW OF MOSES IS PROOF YOU LOVE GOD.

AND GOD WILL BLESS YOU WITH ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN, AND A GOOD LIFE ON EARTH.

DEUTERONOMY 5.11  The Third Commandment is, You shall not take The Name of The LORD YOUR GOD in vain, for The LORD will not hold you guiltless.  That is, The LORD will not release you from your sin of taking The LORD’S Name in vain.

VAIN in Hebrew, as in taking The LORD’S Name in VAIN, is SHAHV.  Taking GOD’S Name in vain is sin, and speaking evil of GOD.  Taking The LORD’S Name in vain is the same as living in idolatry, and lying.  And taking The LORD’S Name in vain is destructive for the person speaking or even writing GOD’S Name in vain.

GOD is a forgiving GOD.  John writes in 1 John 1.9, If we confess our sins, GOD is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Though GOD is a forgiving GOD, common sense is to stop sinning against Him.

Unrighteousness is sin, violating Torah, The Law of Moses that includes The Ten Commandments.

Righteousness is doing that which is Lawful and Right, living by GOD’S Commandments, His Law of Moses.

ISAIAH 32.17  And the work of Righteousness shall be Peace, and the effect of Righteousness, Quietness and Assurance For Ever.

DEUTERONOMY 5.12-15  The fourth Commandment is Keeping The Sabbath Day to Sanctify it.

The Seventh Day Sabbath of The LORD YOUR GOD is from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday.

Keep The Sabbath Day, The LORD says, to Sanctify it.  That is, to make The Sabbath Holy, and Dedicated to The LORD.

The word KEEP in Hebrew as GOD says, Keep the Sabbath Day is SHAH’MORE meaning, WATCH and GUARD THE SABBATH, PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE SABBATH, KEEP IT SAFE.  HONOR THE SABBATH, OBSERVE THE SABBATH, AND PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT GOD REQUIRES OF YOU ON HIS SABBATH.

Six days you shall do all your work, but the Seventh Day of the week is The Sabbath of The LORD YOUR GOD.  In that day you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your servant, nor your farm animals.  Nor your stranger, a non-Jewish Person who might be living with you or visiting you, that they may rest as well as you.

THE SABBATH OF THE LORD YOUR GOD IS NOT SUNDAY, OR ANY DAY YOU CHOOSE.  THE SABBATH OF THE LORD YOUR GOD IS SATURDAY, THAT STARTS FRIDAY AT SUNDOWN, AND ENDS SATURDAY AT SUNDOWN.

DEUTERONOMY 5.16  The Fifth Commandment is, Honor your father and your mother as The LORD your GOD Commands you, that your days will be prolonged, lengthened and long.  And that it will go well with you in the land which The LORD YOUR GOD has given you.

The word HONOR in Hebrew, as in HONOR your father and your mother is KAH’BADE meaning, Glorify your parents, make them Great, and Honorable.  Make your parents Worthy of Honor, Showing Them High Respect, and Good Reputation.  And GOD will lengthen your days, and it will go well with you in the land that The LORD YOUR GOD has given you.

IN THE HEBREW BIBLE IN DEUTERONOMY 5.17 are the Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Commandments.  You shall not kill.  Neither shall you commit adultery.  Neither shall you steal.  Neither shall you bear false witness against your neighbor.

IN THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE IN DEUTERONOMY 5.17  The Sixth Commandment is You shall not kill.  The Hebrew word for KILL  in this Commandment is RAH’STAKH meaning murder.  You shall not murder.

IN THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE IN DEUTERONOMY 5.18  The Seventh Commandment is, You shall not commit adultery.

Adultery is described in Webster’s Dictionary as, voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and someone other than his or her lawful spouse.  Your spouse is your husband or wife.

IN THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE IN DEUTERONOMY 5.19  The Eighth Commandment is, You shall not steal.

IN THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE IN DEUTERONOMY 5.20  The Ninth Commandment is, Do not bear false witness, or in every day language, Do not lie, ever.

THE TENTH COMMANDMENT IN THE HEBREW BIBLE IS WRITTEN IN DEUTERONOMY 5.18, AND IN THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE THE TENTH COMMANDMENT IS WRITTEN IN DEUTERONOMY 5.21 that reads, Neither shall you desire your neighbor’s wife, neither shall you covet your neighbor’s house, his field, his man or woman servant, his farm animals, or anything that is your neighbor’s.

COVET MEANS DESIRING WRONGFULLY WHAT BELONGS TO ANOTHER.

AND MESSIAH YESHUA EXPLAINS THE MEANING OF YOUR NEIGHBOR IN LUKE 10.25-37.

YOUR NEIGHBOR IS YOUR FELLOW MAN, A FELLOW HUMAN BEING.  AND HAVING MERCY ON YOUR FELLOW MAN WITH WHOM YOU COME INTO CONTACT IS YOUR NEIGHBOR.

A Samaritan is a non-Jewish person and their descendants whom the Assyrians placed in northern Israel in Samaria in place of The Children of Israel at the time of the Assyrian Exile in 722 B.C.E.  2 KINGS 17.24

So in conclusion, when you live your life according to GOD’S Ten Commandments, that includes His Law of Moses, and have Atonement for your sins through faith in THE MESSIAH YESHUA, GOD will Bless you with a Good Life on Earth, and Eternal Life in Heaven.

AND THE TITLE OF OUR MESSAGE IS, LOVING GOD.

And with that said, let’s read Deuteronomy 5.6-10.

The Verses we just read are the first and second Commandments of The Ten Commandments.

The Ten Commandments, as you know, were spoken by GOD ALMIGHTY from Mount Sinai to The Children of Israel for The Jewish People and all Mankind to live by for our good.

DEUTERONOMY 5.6-7  In these two Verses GOD teaches every human being that The LORD GOD Who brought The Children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage is THE GOD OF THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE.

AND GOD COMMANDS EVERY HUMAN BEING NOT TO HAVE ANY OTHER gods BEFORE HIM.  BECAUSE HE IS THE LORD OUR GOD. 

YESHUA THE MESSIAH IS GOD, THE ALMIGHTY GOD, THE FATHER, THE SON OF GOD, THE SPIRIT, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.  MESSIAH IS ELOHIM.

GENESIS 1.26, DEUTERONOMY 6.4, MARK 12.29, HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6, ISAIAH 45.18, JOHN 8.56, JOHN 12.45, 49, JOHN 14.9, PROVERBS 30.4, JOHN 4.25-26, 2 CORINTHIANS 3.17 

DEUTERONOMY 5.8-9  GOD COMMANDS US NOT TO HAVE ANY GRAVEN IMAGES, THE LIKENESS OF ANYTHING IN HEAVEN, OR ON EARTH, OR IN THE WATERS BENEATH THE EARTH.  DO NOT BOW DOWN TO THEM OR SERVE THEM, THE LORD SAYS, FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD IS A JEALOUS GOD.

THINK ON THAT FOR A MOMENT THAT GOD IS A JEALOUS GOD.

AND GOD SAYS, HE VISITS THE INIQUITY OF THE FATHERS UPON THE CHILDREN TO THE THIRD AND FOURTH GENERATION OF THEM THAT HATE HIM.

INIQUITY IN HEBREW, AS IN GOD VISITS THE “INIQUITY” OF THE FATHERS, IS AH’VONE, MEANING SIN.  AND THE BIBLE DESCRIBES SIN AS BREAKING THE LAW OF MOSES.  1 JOHN 3.4

THEREFORE, GOD SAYS IN THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, THOSE WHO SIN, THOSE WHO BREAK THE LAW OF MOSES, HATE ME.  THOSE ARE SERIOUS WORDS FROM GOD ALMIGHTY.   

BETTER TO OBEY GOD THAN FOLLOW THOSE WHO TEACH THAT THE LAW OF MOSES IS ABOLISHED, OR OPTIONAL, OR ONLY FOR THE JEWISH PEOPLE.  BECAUSE THE LAW OF MOSES IS FOR EVERYBODY, JEWISH PEOPLE AND NON-JEWISH PEOPLE.

DEUTERONOMY 5.10 IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT TEACHINGS IN THE BIBLE.

GOD SAYS, HE SHOWS MERCY TO THOUSANDS OF THEM THAT LOVE ME AND KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS. 

“THEM” ARE JEWISH AND NON-JEWISH PEOPLE WHO LOVE GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.

Some Bibles read, But showing grace to the thousandth generation of those who love Me and obey My Commandments.

That translation is wrong.

Because The Hebrew reads, v’oh’seh  kheh’sehd la’ah’lah’feem  l’o’hah’vy  ool’shom’ray  meetz’vo’ty.  In English, AND SHOWING MERCY TO THOUSANDS OF THOSE LOVING ME AND KEEPING MY COMMANDMENTS.

I’ve always found this verse interesting because GOD says, He will show mercy to thousands of them that Love Me and Keep My Commandments.

Thousands in Hebrew is AH’LAH’FEEM, meaning THOUSANDS.  Considering the population of the world today is seven billion, six hundred million.  THOUSANDS out of Billions are but a very small number to whom GOD shows His mercy.

But then you consider, Why is it only thousands and not millions or billions that GOD shows His mercy?

Because GOD says, He will show His mercy to thousands of them that love Him and Keep His Commandments.

So when you understand what the word Commandments in Hebrew is, you quickly understand why GOD shows His mercy to Thousands rather than millions or billions.

COMMANDMENTS in Hebrew is Meetz’vote meaning, COLLECTIVELY ALL THE LAWS, TEACHINGS, AND INSTRUCTIONS THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE LAW OF MOSES.

THE SHORT VERSION OF GOD’S COMMANDMENTS IS THE LAW OF MOSES, THE TORAH.

THEREFORE GOD SHOWS MERCY TO THOSE WHO LOVE HIM AND OBEY ALL HIS LAWS, TEACHINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE LAW OF MOSES.  MATTHEW 22.14, MATTHEW 7.13-14

To my knowledge, the only people in the world who are taught The Law of Moses that is written in the first five books of The Bible are The Jewish People.

To my knowledge, other than The Jewish Religion, no other Religion, even those Religions that teach and preach from The Bible, teach GOD’S Commandments, known as The Law of Moses.

Yes, I know that other Religions might say that The Law of Moses is Jewish Law and only for Jewish People.  That is wrong because The Law of Moses that includes The Ten Commandments is GOD’S Law for the entire human race.

Since The GOD OF ALL CREATION Who brought The Children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage is The GOD of all humanity, He is also The GOD of all Religions. 

Therefore all Religions should teach their membership GOD’S COMMANDMENTS, HIS LAWS, TEACHINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE LAW OF MOSES, TO DO THEM FOR THEIR GOOD.

The Title of our teaching is LOVING GOD.

And I thought that these verses of Deuteronomy 5.6-10 would provide a good study from GOD’S Word on what it means to Love GOD.  Not only proving to GOD that we love Him, but proving to ourselves that we Love GOD.

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.  THE GOD WHO BROUGHT THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT, OUT OF THE HOUSE OF BONDAGE.

So let’s look at some Scriptures in The Bible because The Bible is the Authority for truth.  But we must be careful because not all translators write all the truth.

There is only way to know if a verse written in The Bible is truth.  THE TRUTH IS THIS.  THE WORDS MUST AGREE WITH GOD’S LAW OF MOSES THAT IS THE FOUNDATION OF THE BIBLE THAT IS WRITTEN IN THE FIRST FIVE  BOOKS OF THE BIBLE.  IF THE VERSE DOES NOT AGREE WITH THE LAW OF MOSES, THE TRANSLATION IS WRONG.

HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE LAW OF MOSES TEACHES?  SIMPLE.  READ THE FIRST FIVE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE; GENESIS, EXODUS, LEVITICUS, NUMBERS, AND DEUTERONOMY.  THOSE FIVE BOOKS CONTAIN ALL GOD’S LAWS, TEACHINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS.  THAT IS THE LAW OF MOSES, OR IN HEBREW, THE TORAH.  

LIKE GOD, HIS WORD NEVER CHANGES OR ENDS.  HIS WORD THAT INCLUDES HIS LAW STANDS FOREVER.

PAUL WRITES, IS HE THE GOD OF THE JEWS ONLY?  IS HE NOT ALSO THE GOD OF THE GENTILES?  YES, HE IS THE GOD OF THE GENTILES ALSO.  ROMANS 3.29

I was once asked by a Gentile, What is a Gentile?  The answer, A Gentile is a non-Jewish Person.

THEREFORE GOD IS THE GOD OF ALL HUMANITY.  AND GOD HAS ONLY ONE LAW FOR ALL HUMANITY.  AND THAT ONE LAW IS HIS LAWS THAT HE GAVE TO MOSES FACE TO FACE CALLED THE LAW OF MOSES THAT INCLUDES THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.

SO PROOF THAT YOU LOVE GOD IS THIS.  YOU OBEY ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS WRITTEN IN THE LAW OF MOSES IN THE FIRST FIVE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE.  DEUTERONOMY 5.10. 

AND HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE NOT DIFFICULT.  IN FACT THEY ARE QUITE EASY AND ENJOYABLE BECAUSE THEY ARE GOD’S LAWS.  1 JOHN 5.3

THAT IS LOVING GOD.

MERCY, AS YOU KNOW, MEANS KINDNESS, BEAUTY, FAVOR, GOODNESS, AND LOVING KINDNESS THAT GOD PROVIDES FOR YOU WHEN YOU LOVE HIM AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.

YESHUA THE MESSIAH, THE JESUS CHRIST OF THE BIBLE, WHO IS THE LORD OUR GOD, GOD ALMIGHTY, HA SHEM ELOHIM, WHO BROUGHT THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT, OUT OF THE HOUSE OF BONDAGE, SAYS, IF YOU LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.  JOHN 14.15

AND WHEN YOU LOVE MESSIAH YESHUA AND OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS, THE LAW OF MOSES, GOD WILL GIVE YOU THE HOLY SPIRIT.  JOHN 14.15-17, ACTS 5.32

KEEPING THE COMMANDMENTS OF MESSIAH YESHUA, IS OBEYING GOD’S LAW OF MOSES.

THAT IS PROOF YOU LOVE THE MESSIAH YESHUA, JESUS WHO IS GOD ALMIGHTY THE FATHER.

YESHUA GOES A LITTLE DEEPER INTO HIS TEACHING ABOUT LOVING HIM IN JOHN 14.21-24.

KEEP IN MIND THAT MESSIAH YESHUA, JESUS IS THE LORD YOUR GOD WHO BROUGHT THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT, FROM THE HOUSE OF BONDAGE. 

THE LORD YOUR GOD IS THE MESSIAH YESHUA, JESUS, GOD ALMIGHTY, THE FATHER, THE SPIRIT AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.  HE IS ELOHIM.  THE ONE GOD OF CREATION.

ALSO KEEP IN MIND THAT GOD IS SPIRIT WHO FILLS THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH.  JEREMIAH 23.24 

THE HEAVENS ARE THE UNIVERSE THAT HAS NO BEGINNING OR END, THAT IS BEYOND OUR COMPREHENSION. THERE ARE NO WORDS TO  DESCRIBE ITS IMMENSITY.  AND GOD, WHO IS SPIRIT FILLS IT. 

AT TIMES, GOD HAS APPEARED OR APPEARS IN HUMAN FORM ANYWHERE HE PLEASES AT VARIOUS PLACES AT THE SAME TIME.  AS GOD APPEARED TO ADAM AND EVE, ABRAHAM, ISAAC, JACOB, MOSES, AND OTHERS. AND IN ISRAEL IN THE PERSON OF MESSIAH YESHUA, JESUS. 

THERE IS ONLY ONE VERY MIGHTY GOD AND EVERLASTING FATHER.  HE IS YESHUA THE MESSIAH WHO FILLS THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH, THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE.  HE IS GOD ALMIGHTY,  THE FATHER, THE MESSIAH, THE SON, THE SPIRIT, THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND SO VERY MUCH MORE.  ALL ONE AND THE SAME GOD.  YESHUA THE MESSIAH, HE IS GOD.  GENESIS 19.24, PSALM 110.1, YESHUA, JESUS IN ISRAEL, JEREMIAH 23.24 

AGAIN, THESE SCRIPTURE ARE IMPORTANT TO READ AND BELIEVE.  AND YOU WILL HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING WHO GOD IS.  HEBREW BIBLE ISAIAH 9.5, CHRISTIAN BIBLE ISAIAH 9.6, HEBREW BIBLE MICAH 5.1, CHRISTIAN BIBLE MICAH 5.2, DEUTERONOMY 6.4, MARK 12.29, ISAIAH 45.18, JOHN 8.56, JOHN 12.45, 49, JOHN 14.9, PROVERBS 30.4, (HIS NAME IS GOD AND HIS SON’S NAME IS GOD, THE SAME GOD WHO IS MESSIAH YESHUA), JOHN 4.25-26, 2 CORINTHIANS 3.17, GENESIS 1.26 

(JOHN 14.21-24)  MESSIAH SAYS, WHEN YOU HAVE HIS COMMANDMENTS, THE LAW OF MOSES, AND YOU OBEY THEM, THAT IS EVIDENCE YOU LOVE HIM.

AND THE PERSON WHO LOVES MESSIAH IS LOVED BY THE FATHER.  AND MESSIAH WILL LOVE YOU.  AND HE WILL MANIFEST HIMSELF TO YOU.  MEANING MESSIAH WILL CAUSE YOU TO KNOW AND UNDERSTAND HIM.  THAT HE IS THE MIGHTY GOD OF CREATION, THE ALMIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, THE MESSIAH, THE SPIRIT, ELOHIM, THE ONE GOD.

AND MESSIAH SAID TO JUDAS, NOT ISCARIOT, IF A MAN LOVES ME, HE WILL KEEP MY WORDS.  THAT IS, IF HE OR SHE OBEYS EVERY WORD I SPEAK IN THE BIBLE, MY FATHER WILL LOVE YOU.  DEUTERONOMY 8.3, MATTHEW 4.4

AND “WE” WILL COME INTO YOU, AND MAKE OUR HOME WITH YOU.  “WE” IS THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO WILL COME INTO YOU, AND LIVE IN YOU WHEN YOU OBEY THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, THE LAW OF MOSES.

THE PERSON WHO DOES NOT LOVE ME, MESSIAH SAYS, DOES NOT OBEY MY SAYINGS.  AND MESSIAH’S SAYINGS ARE HIS COMMANDMENTS, THE LAW OF MOSES.

WHEN WE LOVE GOD, JOHN TEACHES, WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, THE LAW OF MOSES.  1 JOHN 5.2-3

REMEMBER, GOD GAVE THE JEWISH PEOPLE THE TASK OF BEING HIS WITNESSES TO THE WORLD TO REVEAL TO THE HUMAN RACE FROM THE BIBLE THAT JEWISH PEOPLE WROTE FROM GENESIS THROUGH REVELATION WHAT GOD REQUIRES OF MANKIND. 

AND THAT IS TO FEAR THE LORD YOUR GOD, TO WALK IN ALL HIS WAYS, TO LOVE HIM AND TO SERVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL. 

TO KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS AND HIS STATUTES WHICH GOD COMMANDS YOU FOR YOUR GOOD.

SO, PROOF OF LOVING GOD IS THIS.  YOU KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.  YOU OBEY ALL HIS LAWS, TEACHINGS, AND INSTRUCTIONS THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE LAW OF MOSES IN THE FIRST FIVE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE.  

THAT IS LOVING GOD.

AND HAVING ATONEMENT IN THE MESSIAH YESHUA WHO IS ADONAY ELOHIM, THE LORD GOD WHO BROUGHT THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT, FROM THE HOUSE OF BONDAGE.

LOVING GOD IS GOD’S FORMULA FOR A GOOD LIFE ON EARTH, AND ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN.
